There have been an increasing number of video games developed and published by Square Enix that are not related to the Kingdom Hearts series during the course of the franchise's existence. The idea of a Kingdom Hearts game that does not include any Disney characters or places may seem ridiculous, yet it is possible that this scenario may really play out Shell Shockers.

In the same way that the most recent installment in the series did not include any Final Fantasy characters, the next game may concentrate more on worlds that were developed by Square Enix rather than those that were produced by Disney. Nevertheless, what repercussions would it have for Donald and Goofy? Will there never be a planet in the Moana franchise? The fans will just have to hold their breath.
