Sup guys.

So, I'm replaying through Kingdom Hearts but I'm going to do it on Expert Mode. Tried it once when I was 11 but Guard Armour kicked my sorry ass over and over again. ;w;

At the beginning of the game, when you're going through the Awakening, you're taken to Destiny Islands where Tidus, Selphie and Wakka ask you questions and you select one of three answers. I don't really know the specifics, but I know that your answers determine the rate of levelling-up or something to that effect.

Could someone tell me what answers I would need to choose to have optimum game-play and faster levelling-up? Also, how do the answers work? I'm really curious.

I believe it was the bottom one for all three would get you to level up and overall progress quicker. Been a while since I've checked up on it, anyway.

Alright, guys, thanks! I think I'm going to go for the "Midday" option since it keeps a steady levelling-up process throughout the entire game. And, well, this is Expert Mode so I reckon it'd be prudent to have steady levels instead of being weak at the end of the game where the harder bosses and Heartless are; i.e. Maleficent Dragon ;w;.

Or maybe Dusk: longer to level-up at the beginning but easier at the end? Thoughts?

If you level up faster later on, then you can take out the harder boses. I'd recommend that, but it depends at what point it stops being slow and if there are any bosses early on that you'd have trouble with.

Well, the first boss is Darkside but, well, Darkside's easy. And you always level-up once when you fight him, anyway. Plus, there's Wakka at Destiny Islands who gives you a lot of EXP every time you fight (around 15 EXP I usually get every time). Then there's Guard Armour... then that lizard Heartless, Trickmaster, though those aren't too bad.

And as you can see below (please excuse the slanted chart), it seems that everything starts levelling-out at level 40, at which point the process of levelling starts to get faster/stay the same/slower, depending on the "time of day" you chose.

I think it's if you choose all of the top answers, fast leveling will occur.

The game is designed so you will always be around the same level towards the end of the game, no matter what you chose.

The beginning of the game is really hard because of your lack of abilities. Therefore leveling faster early is better. The last few parts of the game the bosses difficulty doesn't make too much of a difference, you'll struggle or fly through like you normally do. Even more so when you know the strategies for bosses.

what you should do is fight the heck out of all of your friends on DI. and only leave once you've reached Level 15
