I can hardly make out the stock. Or at least what it is supposed to be. The colors are too vibrant, but not bad. They just muck the stock up. Your technique is good though. Just try and clear up the stock.

That gradient is a bit strong. Perhaps tone down the fill and turn the contrast up a bit.
