They reset the RPG and changed it around. Since this is a Kingdom Hearts-based site/forum, they decided to use a Kingdom Hearts-styled setup for the RPG.

There is a thread telling you to SEARCH before make you make pointless threads like this. This question has been answered about 100 times

It's only pointless if they know the answer and still post the question. At least this person has enough sense to post his/her questions into a single thread rather than making multiple threads.

Hardly anyone bothers to use the search feature, and even fewer still read the sticky threads in any given forum. And why should they have to, especially for something like this? All the RPG Staff has to do is compile a working "RPG Help" (FAQ?) area, or even a FAQ thread that doesn't just tell them to "search" the forum, and most of the questions will disappear. If you're so annoyed by these threads, you could even help them do it, eh?

Or in short, do try to have a little more patience with the beginners and those who aren't quite up-to-date. Most people have questions at one point or another, and asking is simply the best way to find out the answers...

So..if they don't use the sticky that tells them to search for the answer, what makes you think they will use the RPG help section before posting?

Hm, I suppose it's based on what I've done and would do more than anything. When I started the RPG, the first thing I did after making a profile was look at the RPG Help section; which was completely empty. The Triple Triad and in-battle tutorials/notes were quite helpful, though. Since "RPG Help" is listed right there, they'd be more likely to click on that than search the forum. ... Not saying everyone would quit asking the same questions or even look, but it might help a little.

Anything has to be better than considering a question as SPAM, threading people that if they ask the same question they'll be in trouble, and then mindless overlooking the complaining in threads (which is SPAM), y'know?

Darrc, your suggestion about a thread with lots of answers in it? Erm go shuffle over to the RPG QUESTIONS thread...

And a sticky saying "read this before asking a question" is pretty blatant. If people dont take 2 minutes to look and see if someone has answered their question before filling the forum with crap, then they really arent mature enough to be here. The search function is there to be used, and its useful, and more comprehensive than any FAQ that could be made. Quite frankly your arguement is specious, since it revolves around your opinion that people shouldnt have to use the search function. Someone else might believe they shouldnt have to look in an FAQ thread. The fact of the matter is they do, and if someone continues to not use it, they will be in trouble.
