KH being the heart of all worlds is most likely the reason why it's pure light. At the very least, it's the manifestation of the connection between the hearts of worlds. Between light and darkness, which element is more associated with the connection of hearts? Concerning the tormented ones whose memories lie within Sora, are they in their dark memories, or their light memories?

KH is powerful not because of light, but because of the power within heart connections, which just so happens to be light.

The heart connections themselves are based on light, yes, but I would be careful with labeling the memories of the tormented ones as light...as nearly all of them are memories of extreme pain and suffering. Data-Naminé even warned Data-Sora and Mickey that if the real Sora accesses those memories without being prepared the torment in them may overwhelm his heart and send it to darkness.

The fact that KH is pure light is also backed by the fact that every new heart born/created by KH starts out as a pure light heart, yet because it's situated in the realm of darkness the new heart must travel it to reach it's body in the RoL, getting some darkness during that travel.

Yet I still don't get why KH being pure light would automatically bring up the comparison darkness = evil...these two have nothing to do with each other, also we already know that darkness itself is not evil, but because of it's nature it's easier to be used for "evil" as light is.

It would basically still say that light is more powerful than darkness, as in KHverse the hearts seem to be the source of all power.
