Spoilers ► Imo both Aqua and Mickey are not as good as they are made out to be

First of all is Aqua. She fought with Terranort to the point that the later attempted to expell Terra but Terra instead of allowing that to happen he wanted to stay in his body (unlike Riku who got his freedom albeit being bodiless) and decided to drag himself and Xehanort to the Realm of Darkness. Then, Aqua took possibly the worlst gamble in the series and sacrificed herself to save Terranort without knowing if Terra could even regain control. And happened? She ended up saving the most dangerous person in the world who then proceeded to ravage multiple worlds and destroy many lives. This was 100% on Aqua, she made a decision based on her feelings and good hope not her logic and the universe along with herself paid the price. Ik that the KH stor wouldnt have happend otherwise but maybe if the writters had her lose then it wouldnt be so bad.

Mickey is also at fault cause both he and Riku escaped the Realm of Darkness between KH1 and Recom yet he did nothign to bring Aqua back. And there is so much apologetics for this, that it was too dangerous, that it was too difficult yet somehow both he and Mickey made it out. Not to menntion that Riku in KH2 was powerful enough to tame Ansem's powers, there was no way he would have any problems at that point resquing Aqua. It really is just poor writting and it makes Mikcey apppear like a total d***, and generally the wrtting isnt in his favor because he just happens to be in every game but certain events have to transpire in a certain way so he is forced to be inconsequential sometimes.
