I don't hold much faith in IQ tests. Something as abstract as mental capacity isn't something I think can be accurately guaged with just a number.

closer to U then you think
normally human knowedge cant be measured in one test since we learn new things everyday. . . thus no test can very tell me how smart I am. I'm not a computer bulit with "limits". if that was the case we dont deserve to live. . .

I agree that your intelligence cannot be measured by a test, but I am not interested in your opinons. All I want is for you to post your IQ.
I think mine's a bit embarresing... or at least for me.

Didn't you notice this was in Forum Insanity and not Discussion?

Anything below 90 means you're mentally retarded

No joke here, if you're IQ is below 90, you are retarded

And through the course of your life, your IQ hardly grows any more than a couple points

And anything about 130 is Gifted, anyhting above 140 is Profoundly Gifted, and anything above 160 is a Genius IQ

The average Adult IQ is anywhere from 100-120

They've come out with a new version of the IQ test in the past few years, back when I first got my test done I scored a 130, but in the newer, supposedly more accurate test, I got a 134

IQ can hardly be tested when there isn't even an agreed definition on what intelligence is. Besides, IQ tests are notoriously inaccurate, I've taken loads and have had anything from 116- 153, though it tends to be around the 130 mark.

The 'IQ' was thought up to measure Intelligence Potential, people, not the other way around

The IQ tests weren't made to measure your IQ <_<

And if you've gotten test scores that ranged from 115 to 156, then you obviously are taking the wrong tests

Why are you taking multiple IQ tests anyways?

Obviously some crack-pot test from the internet isn't going to help very much, but a test given in person by a trained specialist, would give results you can trust

They call it 'Humanities' over here, RoXaS_SoRaX

I agree.

If you must know, however, mine is 136.

Exactly. THE WRONG TESTS i.e. all IQ tests are wrong because they are inaccurate. Stop trying to undermine everything I say TMM. It's getting rather tiresome.

I have a 138, but my therapist says it would be MUCH higher if I did not have ADD... (yes, I have a therapist and ADD... I'm not ashamed). Despite my ADD my intelligence makes up for it.

However, when I took the test I was not taking it to measure my IQ, I was taking it to mainly figure myself out. This was a bit after I discovered I had an odd case of ADD
