Is Kingdom Hearts III aiming for a Worldwide Release? ENG & JAP Facial Animations in E3 2015 trailer

My theory is that if they're really in advance with the development they may be aiming to make the lypsinc already and try to make Kingdom Hearts III come out in one single release date rather than one day for japan and the next month or so for the rest of the world.

It would be the best thing to do, honestly. I don't think anybody is excited to wait too long if the game launches first in Japan. The spoilers would also really kill it.

A worldwide release during the same week would be amazing. To be able to experience the game with the rest of the world at (relatively) the same time ;~; That is something I've always dreamed of.

The only problem that causes is...launch event issues if they choose to have a launch event, and I don't know why they wouldn't when they did a red carpet event for KH2! KH3 is going to be even bigger than that, so why not have another premiere of some sort?

Everybody will want a slice of the Nomua & Yasue pie in Japan, Europe, and North America, though. They can always do launch events a week before the game actually launches, but then that is a bunch of early copies of KH3 floating out in the wild.

Post release would be a nice way to celebrate, but...yeah.

I'd say that at the very least it is clear they are working on localization in tandem with the Japanese version. If that will lead to a worldwide release, well, that is something we can only hope for.

I would love a simultaneous release because I worry about encountering spoilers for the game. While there are people that are good at not mentioning spoilers, there are some people that don't bother putting up spoiler warnings.

I think that it would be great for KH3 to have a worldwide release in order for the entire fanbase to experience this long-awaited installment together. In regards to potential spoilers, I think the answer is as simple as staying off the forums for the duration of your run through the game. It is absolutely naïve to hope to be on the forums and not run into spoilers. Wether it be from thread titles or "accidentally clicking a thread" you are bound to encounter them.

That would actually be pretty awesome. I already prepared to avoid the Internet whenever it released until it releases in Europe, and after such a long wait, I'd find it kinda great if everyone could play it "together".

I hadn't thought about that. I guess since literally none of my friends are into KH at all I'm pretty lucky. The only people whom I know are into KH are the ones who have only played 1 & 2 and have no clue who TAV or RAX are. I'm safe from my social networks haha

Well they released an english trailer the same time as a japanese trailer (at least I think they did) then a worldwide release is most likely.

It'll be a great idea for a worldwide release but something that me and Spock had been talking about. It's going to be even easier sending out recordings from the PS4 system. I don't mind anything promotional but this should be really special for all of us.

That really isn't the best proof...It's something, but it is all dependent on their marketing plan for KH3.

It'll be a great idea for a worldwide release but something that me and Spock had been talking about. It's going to be even easier sending out recordings from the PS4 system. I don't mind anything promotional but this should be really special for all of us.

Do they even do that anymore with major titles? Id think in today's technology and how fast things can be done vs 10 years ago that this wouldn't be a thing anymore. I'd be so mad if it got ruined for me

Oh, I hope so! That would be so awesome! I was very surprised when I learned the E3 trailer was already in English, so that did cross my mind as well. I would sure love Square Enix for that! No Japanese version spoiling on YouTube then. Yay!

A worldwide release for something like KH3 just seems like a must, and I'd be surprised if it didn't release relatively within the same week. We are in a new age, and with a title this big, it would just feel like a shaft to the face if the world didn't all got to experience it together. I remember the wait between Birth by Sleep JPN and Birth by Sleep localization was so large I just gave in and spoiled majority of the story for myself. With DDD, I was able to resist most of the spoilers, but even that was an awful long time to wait.

I think the English trailer is all the localization they did for the sake of making an English trailer at E3, but I'm open to the possibility that localization is coinciding with development. I am completely for a worldwide release, or at least a release within a month of each other at the latest. The only spoiler I would prefer not to have is all the worlds revealed. I'm excited to find out what other worlds there will be, but I don't want to know all of them before getting to play the game.

I most certainly agree 100%. They need tomake it for all the fans, or yes, they will wind up spoiling the majority of the story and ending. Like on youtube, I can see it now... Sora releases the hearts connected to him. Xehanort's final end. The keyblade war. The seven guardians. Ect. I was just recently going on about it like that with some of my friends. Lol. It truly becomes impossible not to spoil those big key parts! You could be on YouTube or online browser, just casually looking up KH when that will of course pop up on there, even though you refuse to see or read it, you can't help it if you accidentally see images and headlines.
