Been thinking about this for a little bit and maybe it's something Nomura might touch upon in 3. Is Sora secretly under a lot of stress? I mean think about, he basically had the whole shoulder of saving not one world but multiple worlds and had to do it by himself a good number of times. So maybe his happy-go-lucky personality is a facade, since a lot of people think his personality is unrealistic, that he might be under a lot of pressure when he might be the key to ending all of this. Remember he was a kid when this all started and nearly lost all of his friends a number of time. He also feels responsible for taking away Roxas' life or at least play a huge part in it. This is also a common thing in the real world where the nice guy/girl might seem nice on the surface but might be dealing with a lot of personally issues. We might have seen a glimpse of what Sora was really like in Re:COM, when he actually showed some legitimate anger when in later games he's been a little more passive. This could've been because of Namine messing with Sora's memories and changing who he was trying hide to what he really was. He also broke down when he reunited with Riku giving another example of this. Sora might also feel like he isn't worthy of the keyblade which might explain his lack of interest in the Mark of Mastery exam (Though this one might be stretching it.) This might also be why he was so easily taken by the darkness in 3D. So what do you guys think?

How's that Psych 101 class going?

In all seriousness, Sora really didn't care about the Mark of Mastery exam or think it was that important, because it really isn't. He's confident enough in himself to where he knows his own strength.

No. Maybe a little, but he works through it with a carefree attitude.

I mean think about, he basically had the whole shoulder of saving not one world but multiple worlds and had to do it by himself a good number of times.

Except he doesn't. He has Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Riku, and I suppose Kairi as well who all share the burden with him, and when Sora is fighting alone he still has his bonds with his friends that keep him going.

So maybe his happy-go-lucky personality is a facade, since a lot of people think his personality is unrealistic, that he might be under a lot of pressure when he might be the key to ending all of this.

At times in KH2, he was definitely just keeping the attitude up and he did break down a few times but he never stayed that way for long. Sora's genuinely a carefree person.

Remember he was a kid when this all started and nearly lost all of his friends a number of time. He also feels responsible for taking away Roxas' life or at least play a huge part in it.

The Roxas thing might eventually come into play in KH3, but I don't think it'd be considered a form a stress. It'd be a regret, and something he'll try his hardest to fix but I don't think this is affecting Sora like you imagine it to be.

Sora is the kind of person who is happy knowing that his friends are safe or are by his side. It doesn't matter what happened in the past, only that they are together in the now.

This is also a common thing in the real world where the nice guy/girl might seem nice on the surface but might be dealing with a lot of personally issues.

We'll see how Sora handles things in KH3. It is very possible he might start to really feel the stress, or he might just go about things they way he always does because that is how he is.
