Chapter Forty One: Departure # 1290301

Megan eventually stopped glomping the poor hanyou who rubbed his sore neck. Kaze looked ashamed and embarassed to even know this person. Sango, Miroku, Shippo, Rin and Sesshy came inside. "FLUFFY-SAMA!" Megan squealed and tried to hug Sesshy. Her grabbed her by the head, "Who the hell is this?!" Megan flailed her arms trying to grab him. She got hold of the fluffy...thing over his shoulder, "I got your blankie!" Sesshoumaru death-glared. Jaken smacked Megan on the head with his staff, "How dare you touch Lord Sesshoumaru you filhty human!" Megan rubbed her head, "Shut up GNOME!" Jaken's jaw dropped and he went in to the pattented 'Tantrum of Jaken the Green Gnome' "You brazen child!" Megan kicked Jaken. "Sesshy!" Sesshoumaru twitched and brought his Tokiijin up to her throat, "What did yu just call me human!?" He asked ina deadly whisper, {Must...not...glomp...Must not when you have a extremely pointy sword to your neck. Youve seen Inuyasha you know what that frekaing sword does. Its like the freakin butter knife of the feudal era!" Megan thought with her eyes fixed on the Tokiijin, "Seshoumaru...let her go shes just an idiot.." Kaze sighed. Megan opene dher mouth for a word of Thanks, "Tha-HEY WAIT A MINUTE! YOU JUST CALLED ME AN IDIOT DIDNT YOU!?" SHe shreiked. Kaze rose an eyebrow, "Youre a bright one arent you?" Megan pointed at him, "YOU SIR...ARE A TWIT!" Kaze cocked his head at the weak insult. Megan flushed, "Penguin sucker!" She turned back to Sesshy and managed to seize him around the neck. Sesshomaru grabbed her by the hair, "Let go of me or I will tear your liver out..." Megan hung by her hair quite painfully inches form the ground, "Tear my liver out?! LET ME SEE YOUR DOCTOR"S DEGREE BUB!" Sesshoumaru dropped her on the floor. Mirkoku helped her up, "Dont mind him. But I have a proposition for you. Will you kindly consider baring my children?" Megan: . Miroku was struck painfully by a boomerang and a flying Keyblade. "DOI!" The Keyblade flew back to Kaze as Sango began beating the pulp out of the letcherous monk. Megan twitched abit bt sat up. "SHIPPO!!!! TAIL! PAWSIES!" To huggle dlittle Shippo and felt his fluffy tail and poke dhis fox feet, "That tickles!"....

Hours later...the sun was setting and it was time for the KH team to leave. Miroku whos head was qite damaged already had seized Megan, Kairi and Noelle at a final attempt to persuade them. He was hit multiple times by Riku, Aroz, Kaze, and Sango. With Miroku now out cold they began their goodbyes. Kagome shook hands, "Thank you for everything. It was fun having people around who actually use shampoo!" Sango smiled, "Yes you really are quite interesting. It was our honor to meet you." InuYasha was sitting ina tree in the forest being anti-social. Of course the truth was he relaly didnt want them to go. Sesh didnt acknowkledge anyone else except Noelle, "You've gotten stronger...." Noelle hesitated "Uhh...thanks..." Rin took turns hugging everyone, "It was so much fun!" She said tearfully. Shippo also hugged everyone. Kikino and Kilala didnt seem to want to leave eachother. They kept whimpering and crying quietly. Noelle wiped her eye, "I really couldnt tear them apart....Kikino? If you want to stay I understand." Kikino looke dbetween Kilala and Noelle caught in indecision. "Hey! Cant he always teleport?!" Aroz asked. Kikino's face lit up, "Kino!" SO the seperation for Kikino and Kilal wasnt too hard. "Im sure InuYasha doenst mena to be so unfriendly.." Kagome said. "Yeah. Im gonna go see him..."

InuYasha sat in the tree staring at the moon his golden eyes were dul and his dark eyebrows were lowered, "Hey half-breed!" A voice said. His ears twitched and he bare dhis teeth, "Who the- AUGH!" He turned about an inch to see Noelle's face in front of him. She laughed he panted, "DONT DO THAT!" She sat down on the branch, "So...I'm leaving." InuYasha scowled, "I know that." Se smile,d "You never change." He cocked an eyebrow at this. If she was Kagome she would have starting shreiking at him. "Are you mad...I can understand if you are..." he said slowly not looking at her. She cocked her head in confusion, "Why would I be mad?" Inuyasha looked won, "Because I forgot you..." She hesitateed, "No! Of course not! I mean I was hurt but it wasnt your fault." He noded in understandment. He was seized in to a tight hug, "You'll always be my best friend InuYasha.." She said in to his shoulder. He hugged her back in a very un-InuYasha-ish way. She let go and he scowled, "friends are supposed to stick together..." She blinked and smiled "but we are always together." She put her hand on his chets over his heart, "Im always with you. In here." he blinked in confusion but understood. "Well I guess this is goodbye." "You make it sound like forever! Ill be back. I cant wait to see them!" She said starting to fly downwards, "Who?" InuYasha asked scratching his heads, "Your kids! You and Kagome make quite a pair." InuYasha blushed, "WHA-!?" She laughe,d "Its so obvious." Inu looked away, "feh!" She giggled,. "See ya half-breed." She started to float away, "Yeah...till we meet again...evil girl." He said soflty just so she could hear. She hovered away and out of sight. Her scent lingered and weighed heavy on his heart.

AS the gummi ship soared through deep space Kairi sat next to her sister, "You okay?" She nodded hastily and looked out the window, "Its hard when friends have to part. i know that." kairi said softly. "Yeha...I'm just thankful hes alive..." Noelle said softly while resting her head on Riku's shoulder. "Weird....our mom died. But he said she died about 100 years ago...so how could she be with me that time?" This was what really stumped everyone...Cid piloted well but soon they were out of gas so they had to land on some random planet, 'What planet is this?" Aroz asked. "how the hell should I know?" Cid grumbled Aroz thought, "Greaaaat! With our luck we'll land ina flaming death ball of gay chipmunks..."

They landed in a dark dreary town with horse drawn carriges and elegant and not so elegant houses. They saw a bridge that crossed over a river. "What a cheery place." Riku muttered as they crossed the bridge. They saw a man chopping fish as his wife handed them to him. They didnt know where else to go so they went to a large house. It seemed to eb one of the alrgets in the gloomy town. Riku shrugged and knocked with the brass knocker. There was a tip tap of heels as the door opened. A very fat and short woman holdigna tissue came in to view, "Yes? How may I help you?" She sniffled. The KH team exchnaged glances, "Erm...hello, ma'am! Our....car! Yes car! Broke down and we were wondering if you had any gas." Noelle said. The woman sniffled, "Im so sorry how rude of me! I am Nell Van Dort. Who mgiht you be young'uns?" Noelle continued, "This is Riku, Aroz, Kaze, my sister Kairi, and my name is Noelle." "Nice to meet you all. Please come in!" She smiled. her heels tapped as her skinny legs guided them inside. She guided them to the drawign rom where a maid brought tea for them. She handed eveyrone a cup of tea. Aroz, kaze, and Riku exchanged looks. They had no idea how todrink tea properly. Kairi and Noelle held the cups elegantly taking small sips. Mrs. Van Dort looked at the two girls, 'My, my whereever did you young ladies learn to hold your tea?" Noelel lowered her cup to say, "kairi and I are princesses in our hometown." Mrs. Van Dort gasped and almsot dropped her cup, "Youre royalty!?" She gaped. Noelle and Kairi nodded. "You simply MUST meet my son Victor-!" A few tears trickled down her face. "Whats wrong?" Aroz asked curiously. "I'm sorry. Its just than my son ran away from his wedding rehearsal and hasnt come back yet. We're very worried." Kaze looked at them and sighed, "You want to go find him dont you?" Riku grinned, "you bet." Mrs. Van Dort said, "I could never request you to do that! Princesses should not go in to the woods!" Aroz and Riku exchanged looks as if to say, 'And its fine to make US go?" Kairi smiled "Dont worry. Its no trouble!" Mrs. Van Dort thanked them over and over again....

Behind the door Mr and Mrs, Everglot were eavsdropping. They were the parents of Victoria, the girl Victor was supposed to wed. "Princesses!? In our town!?" Maudeline asked breathlessley. Finnis gawked, "I cant believe it! They must be loaded with gold! If only we had a son!!" he muttered. "Wait wait Finnis! Those young men....one of them HAS to be royalty. We willc all off the wedding! Forget that Vincent or whatever his name is! We'll get Victoria to marry one of them!" The short and fat father smile dgleefully while his tall stick-like wife laughed quietly. "And it all will go according to plan!" They said in unison...

As KNRKA walked down the road people gawked and a few even bowed. The Town Crier was ringing a bell shouting, 'hear ye Hear ye! Royal princesses enter the town!" Noelle laughed and did a queenly wave to people which gained some laughter. Aroz laughed as they hurried through the fog. Over the bridge they went in to the snowy forest. The trees were barren and crows sat on the topmost branches. They crossed a frozen stream in to a snowy clearing, "Where is this guy?" Riku yawned. Kaze shrugged. Kairi and Noelle turned their heads for a look around. Aroz stretched and sat down on a rock. He stared at a rock across from him. It had an engrvaing that made his heart pound. It was a Heart witha star in the middle. "Whats up Aroz?" Kairi aske.d he pointe dat the marking, "Its like the ring Kira wore..." He said softly. "I gave it to her...when we started dating.."

Aroz said softly. Suddenly the ground rumbled and shook ferociously. Kaze grabbed a tree to steady himself. He had to grba megan by her arm to keep her form alling flat on her face. Riku did the same but held Noelle to his shoulder. Kairi toppled twoards the ground. Aroz jumped up and caught her flaling body, The ground broke under the stone with the strnage engraving. Something was shootign up from it. It seemed to be a hand. At least it seemed to be! The group could only wtahc as the form of a human appeared from the ground. Their face was hidden. Aroz clutched Kairi close to protect her. An unnatural wind swept by making the person's skirt sway along with their hair. As the moonlight peeked through the trees the perosn came in to light. Messy Crimson hair reached their lower back, She was wearing a purple skirt that had some dirt on it, a yellow tanktop with a pale blue hoodie. The figure now known as a teenage girl moved a strand of hair from their face. The moonlight glimmered on something on their finger. It was a ring. They lifted their head to reveal two bright yet sad blue eyes she was quite beautiful, "Aroz..."She uttered. Aroz's dark blue eyes were as wide as possible and his mouth was slightly open at the girl. Noelle whispered, "Is that...?" Aroz said one word slowly and breathlessley, "Kira...?"

To clear this matter up...Nobody yet knows how Kira died. Aroz has thought she was alive but now he can see that shes not. And Kira has waited for umm many years for Aroz's return. Like Kairi did for Sora. So what are her feelings going to be now that she sees him holding Kairi!? Note: Aroz does not love Kairi. He loves Kira. Hes only holding Kairi to protect her. SInce he feels obligated to since shes his desecdants love. I shall update today..later.

Aroz stared numbly at the crimson haired beauty. "Kira?" He asked softly. Instead of nodding or hugging him as he thought she would her bright blue eyes filled with tears...

Aroz POV

I stared at her. Here she was. Before my eyes. What I have searched for for all this time. Here she is...and I cant even move. I felt my heart pounding painfully against my chest. I mean its not every day you see your lover come out of the ground.

As I whispered her name i realized she was on the verge of tears. I forced myself to speak, "Kira? Whats wrong?" It pained me so much to see her crying. I absentmindledly let go of Kairi and slowly started twoards her. When I reahced out I expected her to come running in to my waiting arms but she did just the oppisote. Something I never expected...She jerked away. She jerked away from me. Me of all people! Her hair was dirty and her left arm looked skeletal. Her eyes shined with radiance and an emotion I couldnt read. I stopped and blinked at her, 'Kira, whats wrong?" I repeated. She didnt answer me. She just kept that hurt look. I mustered up my courage and rached out for her. I almost had my arms around her but...she shoved me away. I felt my heart shattering. Shattering in to millions and billions of shards. Then she did something that made my soul bleed. She ran. She ran from me....

3rd perosn POV

Kira took one more look at the spikey haired teen and ran. Before she bolted one sob was heard. It ecoched throughout the area making time stand still. Her crimson locks flew behind her as she ran. Her light footfalls were heard against the crunching earth until they stopped and she seemed to float. Aroz stood motionless. Staring after her. His eyes shined with emotion. After a moment he regained his senses and shouted, "Kira!" He bolted after her desperately. "C'mon!" Riku ordered chasing behind them. Kairi, Noelle, Kaze and Megan quickly followed. Aroz and Kira seemed to be so far away. The KH team could hear them though, "Kira! Stop! What are you doing?!" Aroz called. A muffled cry and a wail of, "Leave me alone!" rang out. The bridge was coming in to sight. Kira was going to cross and Aroz made one final attempt to reahc her. The black wings sprouted from his back and e swooped down in front of her. "Go away!" She shreiked as tears streamed down her face. SHe flalied against him. He gripped her wrists gently but hard enough so she wouldnt escape, "Kira tell me whats wrong!" He pleaded. "You liar! You cheating bastard!" She shreiked trying to shove him away. "Kir-Kira what are you talking about!?" Aroz demmanded as he dodged her blows. "You lied to me! You said I was your only one! You said you loved me and would never leave me!" She cried. Aroz was completely dumbfounded.

Aroz POV

Here I was on a dreary bridge dodging the blows of the one girl I loved. She was trying to hit me! And not playfully or lightly! SHe was using all the strength her small body you muster. She shouted at me, "You lied to me! You said I was your only one! You said you loved me and would never leave me!" I blinked in confusion at her. "When did I lie?" I thought. She tried to shove me away again. The tears stremaign down her pale blue-tinted face. I hated more than anything to see her cry. So I did thie only thing I could to comfort her. Sure it was pretty forward and reckless...

3rd POV

As Kira flailed and shreiked Aroz's deep soulful eyes flashed gently. Using his left hand he pulled her suddenly to him so that they were facing eachother. SHe instantly stopped flailing and looked up at him with her eyes shaking. He now recognized the emotion in them. Utter hate. He instantly lowered is head to hers and forced his lips on to hers. He shut his eyes tight praying that the emtoion in her eyes would fade. It felt so familiar and yet so rare. The taste of fruit from the paopu they shared somehow still lingeres. He pulled back to stare at her. Her tears still fell small and crystalyine.Like small glowing pearls.

Kairi POV

As Riku, Noelle, Kaze, Megan and I neared the bridge we saw Kira and Aroz fighting! Well actually Kira was doing most of the fighting...Porr Aroz was just trying to understand what was happening. "Whats happening?" I asked the group next to me. As usual nobody had the slightest idea. From what Aroz told us he and Kira were so close. And now...here she was trying to hit him screaming at him.

Riku POV

What the hell was going on!? First this girl who looks almost exactly like Kai, comes out of the ground like a zombie or something and now she is trying to make Aroz leave her alone. God...I need therapy. What I want to know is why did she appear after Aroz said the poemy thing. It must mean shes Kira...

Kaze POV

..no comment

Megan POV

Okay...this is like something out of The Mummy! People coming out of the ground trying to beat up innocent guys of extreme hotness! I had half a mind to go up there take out Diamond Dust smakc her over the head and say, "THOU SHANT HURT ZE BISHIE!" but for once and probably the only time...I didnt do what the maniacal vocie in mah head told me...

Noelle POV

I was just as confused as everyone else. But suddenly Kira seized Aroz! I was about to ga, 'AWWW!" but then darkness enveloped the two of them and they were gone! Riku, Kai, Meg, and Kaze looked at me. "It wasnt meh!" I said. At that point I became aware of something behind me! I spun just in time to clash Dark Depths with a Dusk. "Crap in a bucket!" I shouted.

3rd POV

As the Dusks bended about in coreographed madness the team took out their weapons. Except Kairi...she didnt have a weapon. Kaze whithdrew Golden Chocobo and Olympia. (Oathkeeper is Sora's! So Kaze shall not use Oathkeeper becuz is shows Kairi's lurve for So-kun!) Megan withdrew OWA and DD. Riku took out Soul-Eater and got in to fighting stance. Megan charged with a shreik of "FOR THE SUGAR!" The battle was realtively easy. Kaze did some stuff out of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Megan bonked them on the head and shoved Diamond Dust through their non-exsistant belly buttons. Kairi and Noelle attacked a couple. Noelle shot it down with darkness then Kairi finished it with light. As the smoke cleared everyone lightly panted. A sudden rumbling caused them to look at what emerged from the trees. It was a Giant Armored Dusk. It looked like a Dusk rendision of Darkside. (the one BHk had to face in ze trailer) "Oh....shiznap!" Megan sighed. Kaze flipped in the air to land on its houlder and pummeled its head. Riku slid under it to attack its back, Megan kicked its hand and smacked it with OWA. Noelle floated up to its face while Kairi attacked its other foot. The Dusk smacked Kaze hard with its armored hand and snet him spiraling off him. Kaze closed his eyes tight as he was punched. He shouted out as he connected hard with a tree. Falling painfully to the ground he lay motionless. "Kaze!" Megan cried and ran to his side. Abandoning the battle she kneeled next to the fallen blonde and shook his shoulder. "Kaze wake up!" She ordered. His blue eyes remained shut. "DAMN YOU WAKE UP!" She raored. The Keyblades dissapeared from his sides. "Megan!" Kairi shouted in warning. The Dusk lomed above her and Kaze. The crest on its face glowed and shined. A ball of massive energy formed and loomed upon them. It blasted twoards her adn the fallen keybearer. Megan blocked Kaze but was seized. Riku grabbe dher with one arm and dodged rolled out of the way. "What about Kaze!?" At the last second Noelle appeared from the shadows put Kaze's arm oround her shoulder adn jumped as the blast hit her feet. Grabbing hold of the scarf around the Dusk's neck she swung in a very George of the Jungle way. Flying high over its head she relaesed the scarf. Landing on her feet yards away she put Kaze down behind a tree. Kairi faced down the Dusk alone. Power builded between her fingertips. An enormous power of light glowed and charged. The Dusk reached down for her. Unable to move due to the charging process she could only remain in the same spot. "Kai!" Noelle grabbed her sister's hands. A black force builded between her own much faster than Kairi's. And suddenly they both released the power. It melted together and became gray. IT spiraled at the Dusk. There was a flash as it connected and the Dusk exploded. THe massive shock waves and sonic boom were rebounding at the sisters. Riku still holding Megan over a shoulder grabbed Noelle with his other arm. "Kai run!" He ordered as he ran out of harms way. The effort to create the energy left her weak and shaky she couldnt move. The sonic blast closed in on her. At that time she saw images flash across her mind. But at the last possible second she was pulled in to someone's arms. The blast sent the two flying and crashing to the ground. But safe none the less. Her savior hit the ground with her on their chest. They skidded a few feet before stopping. She coughed and blinked downward. What she saw was a pair of dark blue eyes. But it wasnt Kaze. Spiky brown hair brushed her face. The face starign at her was dirty and had a blue tint. But it was familiar none the less. But...it wasnt Aroz...She felt one word slip from her lips, "Sora?"

BWAHAHAHA! I didnt update yesterday becuz I was out causing mischef. im cool like that. I egged me arch enemy! WOOT! The egg-mobile came around and tried to egg us....but missed....every time....high schoolers have bad aim. I kno yer all bored with my social life so ill cut to the chase...

The blue eyed babe stared down at Kairi ( I call Sora that cuz hez hott!) With a slow nod he answered her question. Kairi felt herself gasp at this. But before she could say anything else that unnatural darkness enveloped her and the SHH (spiky haired hottie^^). Everything went black....


Meanwhile....

Kira lay in a dark dreary room sobbing. This world was easily descirbed by one word....creepy. Her crimson tresses lay over her face as she cried in to her arms. A small....(i hate spiders! be aware of that!) black widow spider and a green maggot sat on the table by her side. The room was lighted by candles which flickered with radiance. "Dear, dont cry.." Widow comforted her by placing a long leg on her skeletal arm. (THAT SURE WOULDNT COMFORT ME!) The Maggot replied, "You want me to go beat that prissy little redhead up for ya? Ill give her a Yah! And a HIYA! and a HOOAH! And Id kick her." The Widow placed her many eyes on him to show he wasnt helping. Kira sobbed harder as she glanced at the ring Aroz gave her.. "But shes alive! Its no wonder hed choose her over me!" She wailed. The maggot and spider exchanged sympathetic looks. "I thought I knew him! I thought he knew me!" She cried. The two creatures inched to look in her face. (Song time!)

Kira walked a little way to stare in to the candel's hypnotizing flames. She put her hand near the flickering blaze.

Kira wiped her leaking eyes and layed on the bed and repeated softly and sorrowfully

KIRA

She closed her eyes but not before one last tear streamed down her cheek. The Maggot and Spider sighed in defeat. They inched away in order for Kira to be alone.

Out in the 'town' courtyard Aroz lay on the cobblestones. HIs eyes shut but heart beating just fine. He looked as if he were dreaming. By his side was Riku, Kaze, Megan, and Noelle. Kairi wasnt anywhere in sight....

In another 'house' A tall young man stood by a fireplace. His dark mysterious blue eyes reflected the crimson glow. His face was blue tinted and had a cut near his ear which was stitched. He stirred his feet and leaned his well built body on the mantel. He wore a black short sleeved shirt, dark blue jeans with holes at the knees, white fingerless gloves, and a brown leather choker. THough you couldnt see it now there was a sinsiter gaping wound under his shirt through his chest. It was the grim memory that haunted him. His wild untamed hair shine dslightly as the blaze reflected off it too. He turned back to the girl sleeping on the couch. He kneeled down beside her and stared at her sleeping face. Her creamy complexion was slightly paler than usual. Her cerulean eyes were closed and her long eyelashes caressed her cheeks. Her clean crimson tresses were at the sides of her angelic face. The boy reached out a hand to move a strand to the side. He softly grinned at the seraph like girl. He looked at the gleaming necklace around her neck. The familiar crown sparkled in the dim light. He lightly stroked it in recollection. He heard the girl stir in her sleep and took her hand in his. His fingers linked with hers and he gazed down upon her and softly whispered, "My hikari..."
