But Xehanort wasn't alive at the time of the first Keyblade Wars. Ergo, no flashbacks. The Keyblade War(s) could happen again, but it's doubtful, seeing as how few in number the Keyblade Wielders are, in contrast to the amount of Keyblades that were in the Graveyard. KH III will more than likely wrap up most of the plot threads which are "hanging" right now.

Eh... Doesnt really seem like itd be a good idea...
However you have a point about the trio thing... Maybe MX, Eraqus, and some unknown female/male character do form a trio but I dont think itd be that important.

I didn't mean flashbacks from him. No matter what KH3 is about there will most likely be new characters.
Xehanort seemed to think there were enough keyblade wielders to start a new war.

Ahah, just had a thought. Since Xehanort's name is an anagram with an X in it, maybe he is someone who was alive during the Keyblade War and he just lost his memory (It's not like there isn't precedent for [I]that[/I]).
That's why he's obsessed with the x-blade and reigniting the war.

Oh man, that would piss everyone off. It would be so funny.

It would piss the majority of people off. To be honest, the whole "losing your memory" thing is getting old :/. It wouldn't surprise me if that does happen, seeing as Nomura's getting really predictable now.
