The thing about light in the hearts of children is interesting to me, and you can see that it is kinda true. I mean Sora, Riku, and Kairi have light in their hearts and are a force for good. Many of the adults have darkness in their hearts, aside from the crew from Hollow Bastion (Cloud, Leon, etc..) however we do know that everyone has atleast some darkness in their hearts, no matter if they serve the light.

I strongly believe, at least in some way...that Kairi is a descendant of these characters, or at least connected to them in some way. it is quite possible Riku and Sora could be as well..since they play such a pivotal role in this storyline.

But if this storyline was set in the distant past, how did King Mickey get there? He can't be that old.

When you think about it, Mickey came from the Timeless River Era that was in black and white, which, for our standards, is something old, so maybe he is that old.

Also, for the person that said that the woman didn't have to be Kairi's grandmother, I agree. It says no where that that is her grandmother. She is a princess right, well don't princesses usually have caretakers? I mean, it might be her grandmother, but it also might not be her grandmother. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens when the game finally comes out.

It could have been they were even fighting for control of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts being the light and the warriors from each side wanted to keep it for themselves.
Light = Kingdom Hearts
I need to reacquaint you with some facts. In deep dive it said "behind the darkness =/= door to the light," that pretty much confirms kingdom hearts isn't light: twilight and darkness are the only two left.

It's actually pretty probable to say that there were many more sides of the war, not just A vs B. And that some of the factions only contained one person. I wouldn't say it was armies against armies, but small groups against small groups.
Like in KH: there are 4 factions
the warriors of light
heartless
nobodies and.....
riku and diz. Yes they are there own faction.

It's easier to use than those damn acronyms and long "Blond Haired Soldier" type names.

Kairi wasn't really a princess (as far as we know). She was only a princess metaphorically, because she had no darkness in her heart.

Kairi's "Grandmother's" story was also written in the first few pages of the KH manga, I believe.

And one whole world instead of just a bunch of smaller ones? Hmm. Like Pangea.. or whatever it's called, lol.

But whether or not the old lady's story has to do with the secret ending, I think it'll show up in an upcoming KH game (whether it be KHIII or KHX..)

Yeah I know, it sucked then as well. Also, as I said, you see half a dozen variants for each character, that doesn't bug you?

But if this storyline was set in the distant past, how did King Mickey get there? He can't be that old.

Remember when you go to Disney Castle? And you see all the pictures of Mickey or Mickey-like peoples? Who says those weren't all Mickey? Who says he's not that old? Nobody. Granted, no one said he wasn't really young either and that he just looks A LOT like his ancestors. Which brings up the point that it was never confirmed that the mouse character in the secret ending was Mickey. Personally, I believe Mickey is far older then he is letting on and knows way more as well. But eh, that's all opinion.

Mickey is about in his mid 30's. I know this because you look back at the year he was made. Plus it matches him.

About Mickey's age... Apart from the Timeless River point, let's not forget that this IS kingdom hearts after all, Sora and the gang are not the only protagonist. The whole story (apart from Sora looking for his missing friends) are about a darker plot in which King Mickey's been pretty much involved in. So, far all we know, King Mickey might have been there since the dawn of time (in KH's time of course).

And I think Kairi's grandma's story is really important... For one, its basically the only solid thing we have apart from other people's speculation... (the soldiers' name don't count since neither square enix or nomura had released a statement saying they're called Ven and Aqua). And for all we know, the battle might have been about THAT battle...

And another thing, one of the member of OrgXIII mentioned something about other keyblade wielders... So it might be possible that they've been there since the beginning too... (Otherwise, they wouldn't have met OTHER keyblade masters, would they?) Unless of course, there are some randoms keyblade masters in between... For all we knoe, ansem, etc. might be freaking ancient... 'Cause people in disney don't die 'cause they're old. Otherwise, Merlin and Yen Sin wouldn't still be alive...

Ya. Exactly. But on the story, I also believe it's a war put into a fairytale. Plus, I believe that the grandmother might be Aqua or related to her.

One more thing I would like to bring up is that the video was based on light, dark, twilight, and dawn coming together and fighting a new threat thats rising. What could that be?

That's really cool and it sounds like it could be correct. I haven't played Kingdom Hearts 1 in so long. Perhaps the war did take place a while back trying to steal the light and it created the darkness. And then the world was destroyed but eventually rebuilt by the children (maybe Sora's generation)

Like I said before is that her grandmother may be the female knight and that she and the other knights may have rebuilt the worlds with Mickey(because the knights don't seem too old, actually they seem about Sora's age...). In all, her story is quite important and when I heard it in KH1 it made no sense to me but now it seems quite important and may explain alot of things...

hey okay somthing just clicked im my head... riku gave that keyblade to kairi right .. now if the F.E is related to kairi being that shes kiari grandma then and the it seemed that her and B.H.S. had some feelings for eachother and he wielded the soul eater which is ruki's keyblade and he said in the books that he rememebered somthing like a long lost memory soo maybe he remembered the keyblade war was able to give it to her ... it needs alittle work to it but tell me what ya think of it

BHS didn't really wield Riku's Key but just picked it up. If he did wield it, he wouldn've summoned it immediatly. Though, I like your theory in the making. Like you said, FS may have some feelings for BHS. Motherly feelings since he is young and all.
