Prepared To Die
- Sep 17, 2007
Two decades after the defeat of Xehanort, the Realm of Light is united under the leadership of the Keyblade Masters Riku and Mickey. To combat ever-present threats posed by hostile forces, they established the Order of Light - a group of warriors, wizards, Keybladers and more. Sora declined the offer to lead the Order of Keys, instead opting for a life of distant adventure with Kairi.
Though all the fragments of Xehanort's being - Heart, Darkness, power and more - are gone, his influence still lingers in the minds of some. A pair of powerful though formerly benign Nobodies - Berexus and Nyx - hatch upon a plan inspired by Xehanort's. They seek completion of all suffering Nobodies and a true unification of the worlds, not some deeds and agreements between places separated by sometimes impassable barriers.
By forging the X-blade and gaining control over the true Kingdom Hearts, they hope to restore and merge all worlds back into one, returning them to their state before the Keyblade War so long ago. Since emerging from obscurity, they've begun gathering followers and reconstructing the Organization of old to further their goals. Naturally, the Order of Keys plans to stop them.
A group of fluctuating size and nature, the Order of Light is constantly on the lookout for defenders and warriors new and experienced to join their ranks. In the bustling world of Radiant Garden, the capital of the Kingdom of Light, your character is a young and promising cadet in the Order Academy, an illustrious place of learning and training for those wanting to serve and protect the Kingdom of Light.
Be you a mage, Keyblader, fighter, sharpshooter, pilot or anything else, there is a place for you to hone your skills at the Academy. Your studies balance practical and conceptual topics in equal measure, such that even the most disenfranchised student may learn to excel. On week that might otherwise be totally devoid of note, an otherworldy shimmer hangs in the sky unexplained. At the conclusion of your studies, before the leisure of the weekened can commence, a hole tears open in the sky.
