Oh. Actually, why hasn't Sora just used Stopga on everybody and beat them up then? Is he just saving his energy?

Probably good for Sora, then...
Do you see Sora doing that in the cutscenes of Kingdom Hearts?

No.

It's something not to be used in that way, I guess.

Lovely fiction, Snowy. Pwns mine.

Yeah. In KH1 it was neat how you could just randomly shoot off big balls of fire...I did that a lot in Merlin's training room.

And the knight in your signature looks cool, Keyblade_King.

*blinks* Oh, yeah. Heh, sorry...

Well you can take your bored-ness and random posts to the nonsense section where they belong. Here is where you post things regarding to Snowy's fic, not how Sora casts his magic -.-

Also, it's hard for Snowy to write because of her school schedule. For her, school isn't over yet. Give her a break, and let her have her time.

<3 Best fiction ever, though =)

Chapter Seventy-Five

King Mickey widened his eyes, rubbing his chin as he desperately tried to think of a way out of this awful situation. They’d been there for half an hour now, and nothing seemed to be working in the slightest. The more he thought the situation over, the greater the doubt grew within his mind. Shaking his head, he breathed a long, irritated sigh, before pacing the vast room. This sure wasn’t going to be easy.

“Maybe… maybe we can bring her along,” he suggested, kicking his heels. Sora shook his head stubbornly.

“I don’t want to move her,” he whispered, without moving his gaze from her face. King Mickey groaned slightly, rubbing his face. Riku folded his arms, a stern look upon his face as he sat at the foot of the staircase. His silver hair slightly masked his eyes - rather conveniently; Riku was never one to show emotion well, even in such circumstances, although he‘d insisted on Imari being next to him for his own support. He rested his head on her shoulder as she tried to comfort him, but her words fell on deaf ears.

“Well…” King Mickey sighed, holding his head in his hands. He didn’t mean to come off as so cruel, but they had to remember where they were, and Sora wasn’t having any of it. He, too, wanted Kairi to be alright - seeing a friend in such a state was difficult to bear - but he couldn’t shake off the more serious circumstance that surrounded them in every fleeting - and agonising - moment. “Then… she should stay here.” Sora looked over his shoulder with a tear-stained face, an eyebrow raised.

“Leave her here?” he questioned, unusually sour with sorrow. “Alone? Are you out of your mind?”

“He’s doin’ the best he can, Sora!” Donald butted in, defensive of the King - yet, his squabble took on a concerned tone, feeling a great deal of sympathy, and understanding of such a difficult situation.

“No, Sora,” King Mickey continued, acknowledging Donald’s efforts with a single nod, “I mean… in the sense, that…”

“You can’t justify it!” Sora retorted before he could continue. “What would those guys do if they found her?” His voice quaked as he continued, lip wobbling as he thought towards what might happen in that scenario. “Or… I don’t know, what if she woke up, and we weren’t around?” He bowed his head, a few tears dripping down to the ground. “What if she…” He sighed. “What if she doesn’t wake up at all? What if she slips away while we‘re gone?” King Mickey breathed a long, leaden sigh, nodding.

“I know it’s hard,” he whispered. He couldn’t begin to imagine how Sora was feeling. Chances were, he was riddled with guilt, which, along with the slow breaking of his heart, could not make for a good combination.

“Try to stay positive,” Riku mumbled to Sora, running his frustrated fingers through his silver hair. “Don’t even think about that, Sora, you’ll only make yourself worse.” Sora shook his head.

“I don’t care how I feel,” he whispered, looking down at Kairi, his quivering hands anxiously wandering her mottled face, almost as though they were trying to coax her from her sleep. “That isn’t important to me. Kairi’s the most important thing right now.”

Blue eyes looked over her face as the tears flowed, wishing that she could somehow hear him, and wake up. It was frustrating to see her like this, looking as though she was merely sleeping before them, unaware of the worrying she was causing. Other than the slightly blotchy appearance of her pale skin, and the darkness over her eyes, she looked perfect as always, red hair swathing around her face, a small smile on her lips. Sora squeezed her hand as he sat watching her, taking deep breaths without averting his forlorn gaze.

“Please,” he begged her in a breath. “Please, just wake up.” He gently tilted her face with a tender hand, so that she looked back up at him. “I can’t do this without you, Kairi.”

King Mickey started to try again, but stopped, unable to speak to the man. Crumpled against the cold ground, draped around her, Sora begged her to get up, pleaded with her to wake up. His tears fell onto her skin, dampening her hair, his words caressing her as she lay. Looking away, the King’s eyes suddenly darted to the far side of the room - a familiar dark figure standing out clearly against the white. He didn’t have to guess who this was.

“Sora,” he breathed, tapping the man’s shoulder. Sora looked back at him, following the King’s pointing towards the figure. He scowled deeply, caressing Kairi’s hand one last time before rising to his feet. Summoning the Keyblade, he furiously paced further into the vast, white room, hearing his resonant footsteps echo up towards the adorned ceiling, angels looking down from above as he set out for revenge.

“Koma!” a shout burst from his aching chest. He narrowed his blue eyes into a blazing stare. “I know it’s you, Koma!”

A purred laugh was his only response, before the glint of Koma’s azure gaze found his face. He waved playfully, still with leaden movements. Turning, he called over to Sora.

“Oh, I see she’s still asleep?” he taunted, smirking as his eyes wandered Sora’s tearstained face. He tutted, shaking his weighty head. “Such a shame.” Noticing the glimmer of the golden Keyblade in the furious man’s hand, he released a laugh as he rubbed one eye. “I see I have provoked the wrath of the Keyblade wielder.”

Giving a frustrated shout, Sora burst into a sprint, thundering towards Koma with raging anger, flinging diamond tears in his wake.

Swiping forward with the Keyblade, he threw his weight towards the man. Unluckily for him, Koma was a lot faster than he looked - teleporting to another part of the room before Sora knew what was going on. Stumbling forward after this failed attack, burning with frustration, Sora whirled around, eyes examining the room as he looked for Koma. Taking a quick look towards Kairi, he saw the King, and Riku, standing close to her, weapons drawn, ready to protect her. He smiled at this thought, before his scowl turned to Koma. He was stood by a pillar, on the left side of the room, mouth wide with a yawn - perhaps, meant as some sort of taunt.

“How can we help her?!” Sora roared, voice resonating towards him. He did not expect a response easily, but he had to try. “What can I do for her?” Koma smirked slightly, moving away from the white marble pillar.

“Nothing else,” he purred teasingly. “You’re doing it now.” He wasn’t making much sense with these cryptic statements.

Sora furrowed his brow, before following the echo of his voice, storming towards Koma with light feet - before launching himself towards him, Keyblade held back to deliver a devastating blow. He threw his shoulders forward - this time, meeting his target. With an incredible force, Sora struck him, hurling the gaunt man to the cold, hard ground. He gave a pained cry as the pain shattered through his frail body. Making a firm landing, standing in a defensive position, Sora growled at him.

“I want to know how to help her,” he repeated angrily, burning with aching passion. His heart was torn, and Koma was the one who’d done it. He wasn’t going to get off lightly. “What could I do to get her to wake up? Don’t be cryptic this time!”

Koma grunted as he heaved himself from the ground, his breaths heavy, frail chest thudding with each gasp. He threw a scowl to Sora, gritting his teeth through the pain as he got back up.

“Almost did it there,” he whispered breathlessly beneath a pant. Sora narrowed his eyes, unable to hear the mumblings, but he took great notice when Koma raised his voice. “I hope you realise, you will not get any answers by simply batting me around like this.” He wasn’t about to admit his weaknesses, but seemed to be hinting at an opportunity. “Try harder, and who knows?”

Sora tugged his brown hair, clenching his fists to rip at the spikes. His brow creased intensely as his frustration grew. Never before had he felt so helpless.

“This isn’t a game, Koma!” he shouted, the thought of Kairi racing through his breaking heart. He tried to hide the sorrowful quiver of desperation in his shout, but his voice quaked with every word, his eyes filling with tears once more. How anyone could be so heartless was beyond him. “Please, just tell me.”

Koma paced towards him slowly, feigning a silent compassion as his tired eyes shone with perfectly acted ‘emotion’. His gaze then narrowed as he became closer and closer to Sora, each step signalling that this was, quite clearly, a lie.

“Sounds like you want this badly,” he purred, rubbing one exhausted-looking eye with a limp hand. “You should have thought about this before bringing her along.” Sora frowned profusely, firmly believing he was in the right to bring her - despite this awful, unexpected event.

“I had no choice,” he growled, “she’s safer with me than all alone.” Koma raised an eyebrow, a long, hearty laugh bursting from him, a laugh that seemed too great to be coming from such a gaunt frame.

“That’s rich,” he yawned, cynical above all else, “considering what you let happen to her.”

Unable to control his anger, Sora furiously flung the Keyblade forward, striking Koma in the chest, sending him flat on his back, smacking against the ground with a hideous blow. He loomed over Koma as he floundered around on the ground.

“Stop it,” he cried, tears streaming from his eyes. Kairi’s time was running out, and he’d had enough. “You have to tell me how to help her!”

Koma narrowed his eyes as he looked up at the man, gritting his teeth.

“I don’t have to tell you anything,” he protested, clenching his fists. His eyes shone with energy all of a sudden, a whiteness filling the dark of his exhausted gaze.

Before Sora could understand the thread, Koma released a powerful, wave of energy, a strange pulse of air that flung Sora backwards over a giant distance. His body hurtled through the air before noisily skidding to a stop over the tiles, Keyblade clattering noisily against the floor.

Koma then slowly rose to his feet, carefully dusting down his clothing as he eyed Sora.

“And, anyway,” he continued, “I have been telling you. And I suppose, you have been reacting correctly, if I am honest.” He smirked. “Although I believe you are doing so unintentionally.” Sora shook his head, eyes closed as he tried to contain his sheer frustration. He ignored the pain, before slowly, and carefully dragging himself to his feet.

“What are you talking about?!” he shouted, clenching his fists, Keyblade firm in his bare, clammy hands. “Us fighting isn’t gonna help Kairi at all!” Koma smirked, but hid his smile with his hair, tilting his head towards the ground.

“He didn’t listen at all,” he mumbled, with a grin, hidden beneath the white wisp of his hair. “If he had paid attention to me at all, he’d know he’s doing exactly what it takes. He‘d have figured it out.”

Tee-hee. Yes, it’s possible to figure it out from Koma’s words. Don’t expect me to confirm any guesses though. n_n

Apologies for the shortness, but I was feeling guilty about not updating for a few days. Seriously, I don’t have as much time for writing right now, seeing as I’m back at school. I have a lot of work to be doing. It doesn’t mean I’m stopping with TFF, it just means that you guys need to be patient, okay? >.>; I’m sorry, but that’s the way it is. I have some spare time tonight and tomorrow. I’ll use it all for writing.

Hi again! The chapter was good as usual. And schoolwork comes first, so just write when you have time; we can wait.

Oh, and I think I figured out Koma's cryptic-statement-thing.

Yay for writing! Um...so Koma can teleport and do some weird energy-blast thing that puts people to sleep, right? Is that it?
