KH3D At PAX East 2012!

Happy Easter everybody!

It appears Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] made an appearance at PAX East this year! GameZone got their hands on the demo and provided their impression about it! While the demo was all in Japanese, the impression is well worth the read! Below is a small excerpt and to read the full article, click here:

As far as presentation goes, the game looks stunning on the 3DS and the 3D effects looked damn good as well. The frame rate did drop very slightly once the 3D effect was turned on but it was still very playable.

Also, these cute light boxes with Kingdom Hearts 3D and Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy artwork inside were seen at Square Enix's booth at PAX East!

I'm kind of sad I didn't go to PAX now lol, I was thinking about it, but I didn't think KH3D would make an appearance.

On the plus side, I'm usually not a fan of containing and harboring light within boxes, but those light boxes are really nice! SE, if you ever did release them, I would give you my money...

That's really good to hear that the 3D looks good. It really is a neat effect if used right on the 3DS. I've never really looked forward to 3D effects before, but DDD's should be quite nice : )

Very cool! It's nice to see the game making an appearance over here, even if it wasn't a demo of the localized version. I'm sure they'll be saving that for E3, though. The light boxes are rather awesome!

DDD is like a main game.

And unfortunately that's the general consensus of the fandom, due to the fact that none of those games follow Sora (Data Sora doesn't count).

If a fan thought BbS was a side game, that is one thing, but someone who works at the SE booth makes it worse. The thing is, SE (at the conventions I've attended) don't usually have booth babes, but they get people who actually know about the game they are supposed to be talking about...or at least I thought they did...tsktsk.
