Kayla had stayed over night in high in a tree, mostly holding her pipe close and keeping her eyes peeled for anything. She hadn't seen anyone lately as she made her way out of the tree. Staying up late was normal for her because she had slight insomenia and sleep just felt extremely too far away last night. She looked around for Rhea, hoping she would be close. She had her on her mind all night, but for some reason her mind lost her for the last hour.

She tripped on a branch looking high into the trees and quickly she gain balance, but hitting herself in the head with her pipe. Only a few more minutes and they can leave was all she could think about as she quietly called for her "friend".

"Rhea..Rhea, where are you?" Kayla quietly whispered up into the trees. SHe was beginning to panic that her friend might have died, thens he spotted her up in another tree still asleep. She started to climb tree Rhea was in slowly. Her knees getting scratched ont he way, but after all her young years of being a "monkey" she didn't really notice. She sat down next to Rhea and laid her head on her and for the first time in all of this she fell asleep.

((While Thes is gone, I'll take charge iin his place. Send me your coordinates. And TM, I'll let this slide just this once, but mind your powerplaying and godmodding. I understand you probobly got alittle anxious, but you hardly left her anyway to defend herself. That sounds out of place in this RP, but you should understand this too. I'll edit this soon with my character action.))

As the blade penetrated his skin, Jake was awoken from his state of unconsciousness. Victoria could feel the blade sink in, through the muscular surface of the heart, into a ventricle or atrium.

“You fought well. Sorry about your arm."

Victoria glanced at Jake to find that he was smiling. “Smiling?” Jake's breathing became heavier, and it was obvious that it would be the last time he would breathe ever again.

“Thanks. Keep on fighting."

His last words truly confused Victoria. When his eyes finally closed and his breathing stopped, he was smiling. Falling to her knees due to exhaustion, Victoria let her warm salty tears burn the sides of her cheeks. The thought that she had just killed someone was over whelming. Even though he had thanked her for it, she still realized she had ended another person life for her own. “Selfish desires…”

Wiping her tears away, which had left red streaks on her face, she began to patch herself up since the pain was beginning to trifle with her senses. Her face was scratched up, and not to mention her right shoulder had quite a cut engraved in it. Scanning her surrounding’s, she found Jake’s duffel bag. Crawling over to it, Victoria opened it and snatched a bottle of water out. “I shouldn’t panic right now. I’m still here and everyone is going to die anyway, just have to remember that. We are all going to die… Well, except one of us. I’m just helping them out, yeah, helping.”

Finding a tear in her left sleeve never her shoulder, Victoria made the tear much larger until the entire sleeve was ripped off. Putting it aside for a moment, Victoria picked up the water bottle and twisted the lid off. Pouring most of its contents onto the piece of cloth, Victoria let the water soak through the whole thing. Once her goal was achieved, Victoria wrapped the wet cloth tightly around her wound, making a knot at the end to hold it together. Sighing in knowing she was not about to bleed to death, she guzzled down what was left of the bottle.

It was about time Victoria figured out she should relocate herself find some place to sleep. Before she did so, she had a few tasks left. Some she regretted harshly. Crawling back over to Jake’s duffel bag, she plucked a loaf of bread out of it. Pulling a piece off, she popped it into her mouth, savoring the taste. Enjoying every piece, since it might be her last meal, Victoria soon finished it off and set about collecting her items.

“Okay, well. I have another two bottles of water, and three in my bag. I also still have my loaf of bread, the katana, and Jake’s blades…”

Scampering around the area, she hastily collected each item, stuffing them into her bag, save for the katana, which was still embedded in Jake’s chest. Crawling towards it, she firmly grasped the hilt of the katana, giving it a slight tug. When it had finally popped free, Victoria could not help but grimace at the blood that was sticking to it. Making her way to the entrance of the cave, she scanned the line of the coast for any sign of enemies. Once she felt comfortable, knowing that no one was there due to her observations, Victoria skipped down to the ocean.

“I guess I should clean it off here. I rather not have blood all over it.”

Getting down on her knees, she laid the blade in shallow water, and watched as the blood lifted off by the gently shifting waves. Once she was satisfied with it new state, she gave it a hearty shake, which cause the flecks of water that remain to fly off. Quickly running back to the cave, she hastily threw the strap of the duffel bag over her shoulder, running out of the cave to a new area. “Hopefully I’ll find a place to rest soon.”

OOC: Now now, Shady, let's mind the accusations. If you are referring to the noises, those could have been anything. Besides, life isn't fair. Also, isn't it about time to announce some new danger zones?

IC: Joel could hardly control himself as he finished off his opponent. The pipe and gun kept swinging as if they had a mind of their own. Each blow was followed by a crack and a spurt of blood. After about ten seconds, Joel managed to stop attacking, and laid his eyes on what was left of the girl. Her body was bloody and broken, slumped in a mangled heap against the side of the building. Red rivers trickled down the wall and across the dirt below, pooling up on fallen leaves and stones. Joel froze at the sight of this, shivering slightly.

"What have I done to her? How could I kill this girl? She never did anything to me... How could I kill her? How?! HOW?!?!?!"

Joel yelled as he backed away from her body slowly, sliding against the wall of the structure. He noticed that as he scraped against it, he left a trail of blood that was not his own. Slowly and unwillingly, Joel made his way back into the storehouse and closed the door. He went to the remains of the sink and turned on the water to rinse himself. As the water splashed off of the pipe, the gun, and his hands, the floor of the storehouse was stained crimson. As Joel washed up, he began to shiver slightly, regaining control of his body.

What was done was done, and there was nothing Joel could do to change that. He began to come back to his senses and turned off the icy water, placing the now clean pipe back into his bag. Joel couldn't stay here any longer - someone would have heard the gunshots. Bringing himself to move, Joel walked back to the door and headed outside. Before he left, however, Joel ripped the remaining wire off the wall and pocketed it. He also scooped out a handful of salt and poured it into his last empty pocket. He had had a drink of water, and needed to move on. Exiting along the opposite wall that the girl was dead against; Joel looked at his map, decided a direction, and began moving at a comfortable pace. He tried to stay in the shadow of the trees at all times, and had both pistols ready to fire, listening for any movement that wasn't his own.

Rhea had this unexpected, Kayla's head on her shoulder. She silently took the rod from her, making sure it didn't touch her sleeping body. She only took it for the sole purpose of protecting the two. Although she didn't expect a late night attack, but she couldn't help herself, being in a frantic state. But as Kayla nestled her head on her shoulder, she started to calm down. She looked at her sleeping friend and smiled.

But she did something sort of out of character, if she could say that. Her fingers reached out and moved her hair behind her ear, as she put her left arm around her shoulder, and rested. She didn't care about late night attackers, as her eyes began to wear out, rod still in hand, as she rested the rod on top of Kayla's lap, her hand still grasping the rod.

Closing her eyes, and dreaming a little dream....
