I sort of doubt it would be a 3D remake, more likely they keep the 2D assets but change the battle system again.if Union X gets a remake for consoles, will it have customizable player characters again?

I'm definitely that guy in this thread lol> Kojima tweeting a normal picture of a major city
KH Fans: REEEEEEEEEEE TROLLMURALOGIC HIS GENIUS IS UNMATCHED WHAT DOES IT MEAN KOJIMA X NOMURA
Depends if the game will focus on the Player or not, it's possible a Union X game could have you playing as Ephemer or Ven. I hope we play as the Player character because it would be fun with all the possible wacky outfits you could have.if Union X gets a remake for consoles, will it have customizable player characters again?
I disagree with you. all the 3d assets for daybreak town, the foretellers, Ephemer, The NPC's at Ava's speech are all modeled. most of the worlds of X are also a part of KH LORE already. Cinderella, snow white, and sleeping beauty are already partially modeled from 0.2.I sort of doubt it would be a 3D remake, more likely they keep the 2D assets but change the battle system again.

A full game with KH3-level graphics would require KH3-level budget and dev time. The cheap 2D mobile gatcha game that wasn't even a successful gatcha isn't worth that kind of investment in Square's eyes. Remember this is the same company that couldn't be arsed to port PS2 games to Switch. And 0.2 offers very little that can be reused, no inside of most of the castles or Termaine's house for example.I disagree with you. all the 3d assets for daybreak town, the foretellers, Ephemer, The NPC's at Ava's speech are all modeled. most of the worlds of X are also a part of KH LORE already. Re: Union X will be 3D.
The thing is, it is a great disservice to the wreck it ralph world to remain as only 2d. It's funny cause its the only disney movie that was originally 3d that hasn't apperared in 3d full glory.A full game with KH3-level graphics would require KH3-level budget and dev time. If a 3D game does happen at all, the best case scenario that I see is it has PS2/PSP graphics, reusing the PoL/Herc worlds from those past games. That'll leave just Daybreak, WiR, and a few new arras like Sultan's palace to create.
in particular they could make it in Unity and import assets directly from MoM. Then they could in turn use assets for Daybreak and Grand Central for new MoM DLC.
But again this is Square we're talking about. They're in full-on MinMax mode when it comes to game budgets. They don't seem to make anything anymore unless a 1st party pays for it.
It is. It sucks to not have a proper 3D GCS or action based King Candy bossfight. But that's rather low on Square's priorities ain't it? And they probably intend to do Ralph Breaks the Internet in a future game anyway because how do you not do the princesses scene with Kairi? The thing is, it is a great disservice to the wreck it ralph world to remain as only 2d. Spoiler ShowThey won't do the princesses scene with Kairi.

Because there isn't anything to be hyped over from it.Maybe its just me but despite knowing that Kojima and Nomura are friends I can't really get hyped behind Kojima posting a picture of the Shibuya Hikarie (?) building.
Well.-And then you went on to become a game creator who shed more light on FFI many years after. What do you have planned this year after FF Origins? The Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary event is coming up too. Will this year be one filled with preparations?
Nomura: No, there's gonna be both. We have new things we're working on but also have things we are getting ready for releases too. It's going to be a busy year, and next year looks to be about the same too.

I've been seeing too much Kingdom Hearts III slander because so many people are so nostalgic towards Kingdom Hearts II that they intentionally ignore the weaker elements of that game that Kingdom Hearts III fixed. You don't have to put down KH2 to talk up KH3 and also that's just flat out not true. With the sheer number of disney worlds KH2 had there are a few duds but there are plenty that relate/forward the main story.
I admit, a weakness towards the narrative structure of Kingdom Hearts III was that we didn't have a midpoint breather in an original world but that doesn't invalidate the Disney worlds of that game whatsoever. The power of waking was a journey for Sora, the payoff wouldn't be as meaningful if he didn't have the experiences he had in the Disney worlds.I get it. But I think what people mean is that disney worlds should be integrated in a more organic way into the story. KH3 really seems like a random trip around disney worlds before we get to the meat of the climax of this saga. The "power of awakening" stuff was a very weak as a reason, especially considering how sora ended up getting that power.
My idea of "organic" implementation of disney into KH story would be something like Coco's world being where sora ends up or whatever. It feels like the writers (or disney) have been adamant or afraid to actually implement these worlds in a way that isn't a disneyland ride through the movie's main story beats or a random adventure in the world (toy box, monsters inc). Space Paranoids and Timeless River are actually leaps and bounds above anything we've gotten since when it comes to disney integration.
I don't think it should count as "smartly integrated" if the world's purpose is to be the backdrop for 2 OCs talking that could just as well happen anywhere else.I've been seeing too much Kingdom Hearts III slander because so many people are so nostalgic towards Kingdom Hearts II that they intentionally ignore the weaker elements of that game that Kingdom Hearts III fixed.

I will give credit to Space Paranoids and Beast's Castle for progressing the lore of Kingdom Hearts II, however, as creative as Timeless River was, it was still a filler world despite its creativity. The Symphony of Sorcery in Dream Drop Distance is a better example of a creative Disney world that smartly Integrated the main narrative.
To be honest when I care to look at twitter I see the exact opposite. Either we're both right or we're both wrong and the truth is somewhere in the middle. I'm not sure many people on *this* site were outright slanderous though. Anyway, let's just put a pin in it and agree to disagree.I've been seeing too much Kingdom Hearts III slander because so many people are so nostalgic towards Kingdom Hearts II that they intentionally ignore the weaker elements of that game that Kingdom Hearts III fixed.

Another major upside/downside of of keeping the 2D assets of KHUX is that it could keep it as a project that BitGroove could do instead of needing a console-level dev team. Which isn't really ideal, but does keep it as low-budget and low-risk from the perspective of remaking a mobile gacha game that wasn't very successful in the first place.A full game with KH3-level graphics would require KH3-level budget and dev time. Well they didn't show very much of it. Plus which Keyblade War was he even referring to? We got 2 of those and I'm betting on a 3rd in the future."The Keyblade War needs high spec high powered hardware to be told"
*Keyblade War is eternally 2D chibi stuff*
I promise you The Simpsons rendition of Leonard Nimoy, I will never let go of my KH3 hate. I'll just hate every numbered game that isn't KH1.Nomura please hurry up and release KH4 so everyone can say it's the worst game they ever played and it's utter trash. We must restart the cycle.
