Hello everybody! We have tons of new awards for the new year that can be requested through our Awards System thanks to Antifa Lockhart! Some are limited-time awards so go claim them before they are gone forever...
It's not bad. Keep up the good work. Just like you already mentioned the chapters need to be longer. But you know that so that's fine. I didn't see as many errors in this one. In the first chapter the beginnings of some of your sentences weren't always capitalized. But other than that you're doing a fairly good job. Keep writing!
Their footsteps echoed loudly around the cavernous interior of the stunning mansion. It had all been set up so nicely in the past, and Regan would wander around it countless times looking at paintings and admiring the beautiful decor. He stopped and wondered where that side of him had gone.
'He must've come here', whispered Vires, thinking to himself. Regan turned to face him.Wondering what would interupt their mission further.
'The King! He must have come here, just think Regan, We are walking in the footsteps of THE KING! " Vires exclaimed jumping up and down in what Regan guessed was a sense of honour. Regan stopped Vires and clipped him round the head.
"I can't believe you! We could go and see the King anytime, now shut up,no more words" He shouted. Vires chose to die by being strangled.
"Could we go and see him... now?" He squeaked. Regan calmed himself, took deep breaths.Vires winced at the site of an oncoming lecture
"No...we are doing something." He whispered through clenched teeth.
"Well then lets do it! and buddy I swear after we get through this i'm going to buy you a whole cart of sea salt ice-cream... well maybe not a whole cart. But pal everything is going to be smoooooth sailing from now on." Before Regan could get his hands around Vires' puny little neck the mansion filled with hollow laughter that carried on for a few seconds.
"Vires, you think your so funny, don't you?" The voice chuckled. Vires placed his hands on his hips and stepped forward.
"Why yes, I do, and i'll tell you something for free, your in our way, so get OUT of our way... or me and my friend here will make you move, by order, of the king." Vires shouted back, still play acting.
"Meaningless waste of breath, the king is dead." Vires was silenced, he realised that this wasn't a joke.
"Yes ... he didn't put up much of a fight." The voice laughed evilly. Regan could feel his old friend anger bubbling up inside of him. Crawling up his spine. Welling up in his eyes. He felt loyalty to the king, that he could not let him down. He hadn't felt this in a while.
"Liar!" Regan grunted. His feet twisted round, and with his palm facing the heartless released a bolt of lightning straight at it's head. No luck, the bolt crashed into the wall and shook the whole mansion making dust fall from the ceiling. The heartless dissapeared for a while leaving an awkward silence. Vires held the guns in his pockets cautiously as to not whip them out in fear. The next sound came from behind them, a voice that stole their breath.
"Still as weak as ever Regan" The heartless cackled as two more rose up from the floor infront of them.
"Aww, poor Regan they said, never to get his friend back, destined to drift through the darkness, alone" He grinned, amused with his own antics.
"Tell me, what do you think friends mean in the endless darkness, I'm sure you will look into that, friend" A tear dropped from Regan's blue eyes. He looked at Vires' innocent face, dreading what the heartless would say next.
"We move onto Vires, wielder of the keyblade. If only he'd get it out once in a while he might be worth a quarter of it's last master, or is it too powerful for him Regan?" Vires hated to have his feelings confirmed by a monster but if this was true, and if the keyblade was a powerful weapon, then Regan had been holding him back. It's voice interupted his train of thought once again.
"I wonder Regan...wonder if he ever thinks why he can't recall back two months of his own lonely life." Vires' body froze up, and his heart flinched.
"After all you two are best friends, aren't you?" The necromancer jumped off the banisters of a set of stairs with ultimate precision and put his face in Regan's and whispered something inaudible to Vires.
"I do wonder, Regan why you don't ever think why he looks so much like the late King Sora."
Regan's head dropped. I must not let myself fall into despair he thought, everyone is counting on me. He picked himself up looked at Vires and at the two heartless behind him.
"Kill them." he hissed.
Sorry for the horribly long delay but i'm glad to be back in my own thread!
Chapter 4: Battle to Calm
Vires flicked the guns out of the pockets of his black cloak and spun them round his forefinger. He didn't do this for show, it's something he done to calm himself before a battle not that it worked. Regan said he was very wreckless in heat of battle. No time to think now, he needed to kill the heartless as quickly as he could. But his brain throbbed from the words of the heartless. The thought that he didn't know his best friend. And what was to be done of the keyblade. Surely Regan will still not let him use it no matter how powerful it may be. Questions that were probably best saved for later. The one on the right was closing on him much faster than the heartless on the left so he decided he'd take that one first. He shot a bullet straight at the forehead of the heartless, but the heartless was too quick and dissolved into a puddle on the floor and crawled along the shiny wooden surface.
Regan hated when they done that. An act proving furthermore that they don't exist. Bleeding through the fault lines of reality itself. Vires just liked smooshing them to heartless dust. The heartless leapt too quickly to comprehend and drove him to the ground. It crushed his hands and put it's face closer and closer to Vires, it's beady yellow eyes glimmering in comparison to it's black, expressionless face. He struggled to get free from the heartless. He pulled the heartless arms closer to him and pushed it's head back with his legs in order to break the heartless in half but to no avail. He tilted his head back and looked at Regan. His enemy pushing back his heavy sword with it's bare hands. Vires knew Regan needed help. He pulled his leg back and knocked the heartless across the floor. Vires groaned and waved his arm back and forth to make sure it was still there, the heartless had bitten clean into it. It regained balance once again and leaped at Vires, it's mouth wide open.
Thump! The heartless hit a cold hard floor. It's head jerked around looking for Vires and wondering where he went. It's head smashed against the ground chipping away at the polish. It let out an uncontrollable squeal. Vires stood over it his foot on it's head and looked as if he was a brave warrior who had somehow slayed a small completely black Lion. " Oh! So close" he smiled and fired 6 rounds of bullets into it's back. It's body shook irritably and it disappeared into a cloud of darkness. As the next came at him he decided. If he was ever going to defy Regan, and use the keyblade. The best time to do it would be to defy death maybe that one last time in a fight. He put out his hand and, as usual it appeared. It's handle shimmering in the dim light of the mansion. The heartless stopped for a moment and stared at the keyblade, then at Vires, then at the keyblade again as if it was calculating something. But soon enough, heartless insincts took over, and with open arms and legs leapt at Vires.Vires swung low hoping to catch the heartless landing. But it gracefully flipped in midair and danced tauntingly on the tip of the keyblade. The keyblade itself was so heavy Vires had to sling the blade over his shoulder, as a result of this the blade had left a deep cut in his shoulder blade which made it harder to move his arm. He lifted the keyblade off of his shoulder and swung it straight at the left arm of the heartless. Vires was astonished at how easily it had cut through it's arm. It whisped away in the air like smoke. He twisted his feet round and sliced through it's legs and then it's neck. This time it's whole body seemed to blow away like dust in the wind. Two more crawled out of the darkness. Vires felt but exitement, and an eagerness to find out what else if anything the keyblade is capable of. He ran at the heartless, a certain change of characters, this would've confused the heartless... if they had a brain. The heartless instinctly lashed out at him but was easily blocked by Vires and the keyblade. They pushed against eachother for a while. The second heartless decided he should weigh in on the fight but was swiftly kicked across the room. Vires brought the keyblade back towards himself so that the heartless leant over him, and thrusted the keyblade into it. It shuddered, it's eyes wide open, and faded away. Vires stood smiling and thought about striking a pose but dismissed the idea.
"Vires!" Regan shouted, he had the heartless begging for mercy at the end of his sword.
"Shhoooot!!" He screamed. Vires fumbled for one of his guns. He got a hold of one and tried to pull the trigger but it slipped out of his hands and slid across the room. Two small black hands picked it up...
