[parsehtml]<p>The Bring Arts line is ever-growing, <a href="https://twitter.com/sqex_md_goods/status/1019744816593219584?s=21">and today Square Enix, at San Diego Comic Con, revealed that Kairi will join the lineup in her <em>Kingdom Hearts III</em> design</a>.  </p>

i hope the figure get fished by the end of october and im so happy she get her own figure after how many years

This, along with other stuff--like how they seem to have been hyping Kairi up since DDD's secret ending--actually gives me some hope for her role in KHIII. Now dear God, please don't let my hopes be crushed--now that for the first time in years, I'm actually starting to believe Kairi might be treated decently again for a change. And maybe even better than she ever has been before.

So I keep noticing in all of the recent promotion and renders featuring Kairi we haven't seen her with her keyblade. Hint that she will get a new one like Riku?

yeah i think it will get reveal later on as a surpaise we just got her new look

I hope her Keyblade will be revealed in time for it to be included with the figure! Maybe we’ll see her wielding it in a TGS trailer.

That's a possibility. If she does get a new one I'm hoping it has a Mickey keychain like Braveheart and Kingdom Key

I’m hoping she’s playable and they want to wait to show it until that reveal. It could also be themed to someone though like you suggested.

the chances of her being playable seems very low right now and as for her potinal keyblade she could get later on in the story as a plot point

I really hope not considering she's barely used Destiny's Embrace, unless she'll become a dual-wielder due to Namine's heart or some junk, in which case I'll be totes cool about it.

Can someone clarify: Are these BAs Square's in-house line of smaller KH figures supposed to be a response to the commensurate S.H. Figuarts types of toys? Because my collecting wires are getting crossed.

I already have two BA versions of KHIII Sora (and the heftier PAK ver.) - his standard look and his Second Form. But now we get a Kairi! I really prefer Play Arts Kai, but I may have to nab her for sure unless a larger scale is unveiled.

Ah. That's true. Weren't the original Play Arts (upon release) around $60-$80? To be fair, I love the quality, the look of the PAK ones so much, the value seemed worth it for me to start collecting this crap in the first place.

I didn't give figures a shot beforehand, and I still wish I would have pick up some of the earlier PAK library for the DDD figures. I received my first SH Figuarts (a Sailor Moon figure) as a gift sometime shortly around that. So I had started collecting two separate lines of differently scaled figures, and I really didn't want to go down that collecting route, but I fell prey. ;0;

And yeah now that they've been releasing KH merch, I'm tempted! But it's KHII stuff, which is the last line of merch this series is hurting for, so I'm holding off.

Great prototype, but she looks a bit stiff in this display. I'd like to see her have a battle stance.

I never bought any KH figurines before but this KH3 batch looks so good. Have to buy a few now.
