I can't wait to see what happens in the story, but it sucks that the gameplay is the most disappointing thing this time around. It is interesting how they always bragged about having so many gameplay options, when in reality you only have one option, attack. All of the mechanics at your disposal do the same thing. Summons for example,
In KH2 you could use Stitch to stun a boss and go in bashing at it, and to recover your MP. You could use different ones for different things. In KH3, all summons do the exact same thing.. Attack a few enemies at different spots, then use a big aoe finishing move. Magic is the same thing, I was so looking forward to all the different spells when this first started. Turns out every spell is used to attack except for cure, even aero was changed to the attack version. Shotlocks? It doesn't seem to matter which one you use, you will always get the same result. Attraction Flow? They all give the same kind of combat value. Keyblade Transformations seemed like they could be the most unique things, but after analyzing all of them I realize there is no reason to choose one over the other, they all do the same thing. Everything does the same stuff it just LOOKS different. Blizzard freezes enemies atleast. We got that going for us.
