I really had low to no expectations about the Kairi stuff. However, it is still uber disappointing to see that nothing changed.

I'm positive this will be the best game in the series, regardless of the issue mentioned above. Everything I've read so far made me feel sure about this.

Besides... To those who are bemoaning about what we know thanks to the leaks, you can't always get what you want. Just because something you want to happen in the game doesn't happen, doesn't make it automatically bad or anything.

I do understand people's complains and all. But it is literally impossible to achieve what everyone wanted. People shouldn't think like: "If THIS doesn't happen in the game, I'll be 100% mad and the game will let me down", because there is a 99% chance that it won't be as you imagined 10 years ago or so.

I do understand people's complains and all. But it is literally impossible to achieve what everyone wanted. People shouldn't think like: "If THIS doesn't happen in the game, I'll be 100% mad and the game will let me down", because there is a 99% chance that it won't be as you imagined 10 years ago or so.

Apparently after Cloud World Kairi somehow saves Sora and they get revived back at the beginning of the Graveyard segment where instead of Terranort making everyone into chumps, Lingering Will shows up and basically shows Donald how to explode a guy with a bazooka

Regarding Kairi I had very low expectations....Actually no expectations and still it stings. Like all you had to do was make her act like she wanted to do something outside of Sora. Give her more lines, a sub plot, anything.

And I still can't get over the Paopu scene. Why even show Riku, why MENTION him?! Its so awkward. I'm just glad RAX's characterizations were left alone, and honestly they got the best ending.

oh my god right? I don’t get why Riku was there at all? They didn’t even need to mention him. It just made the scene clunky and weird. It goes from Sora and Kairi being worried about Riku to the paopu exchange instantly to the point that Sora has no time to change his expression from worried to anything else. Sora also hesitated for an ungodly amount of time that it just comes off as confused and awkward until he is like “yeah I’ll protect you”

Come on Nomura, this scene could have been better than that and they fuck up on such a basic level

Yeah RAX really get the best resolution in KH3 and its delightful to watch

The Foretellers meet Sora in the Secret Ending while he's still missing and gives him some sort of new role. Because of this, I believe that Kairi will be the protagonist of the next Arc as she tries to bring her back. I don't believe for one second that they'll save Sora in the Epilogue or Secret Ending.

I've been following the gameplay related leaks, but as soon as story spoilers started to come out I stopped reading spoilers. However, I'd like to know some things quite general. If someone could answer this questions without giving many details I would be very thankful.

1.Does the story of KHUx/Back Cover play an important role on KH3?I guess the answe is yes but, is it too much or just a tease of the future of the series?

2. From what you've seen and read so far, is the plot good and the ending satisfactory?Are the main mysteries resolved?

3. It's the final boss battle as impressive as it should be?

4. Do all the charactes receive an aproppiate development and closure?

5. Do we get to fight against all the Organization members, or at least, most of them?

6. Are there big surprises and twists or is it quite predictable?

7. I've seen complains about some humor and stupid situations that doesn't fit with the game. Is it that bad?Or just typical Kingdom Hearts stuff?

8. And last: Is there too much Sokai in the game?Because even one single scene of Sokai is too much for me. Sora and Riku deserve to be happy together.

There are a lot of questions, I understand that you cannot answer all of them, but every little information will be well received. And remember: no spoilers. Thanks a lot!

I saw the ending on youtube and I liked it. It had a happy ending feel for nearly everyone but two characters. It brought the feels and made this jaded fan's heart swell two sizes larger.

I’m personally still happy, I’m just frustrated by quite a few aspects.

I can understand the first leaker and his reactions, and how it came down to a "meh". I'm pretty sure there are cut scenes explaining some of my peeves about certain people's return, so a few of those complaints will perhaps be crossed out. The connections and implications between characters throughout the series amounting to nothing in the end will stay a disappointment unless the game rectifies it.

There's no need for complacency. It's not difficult to allow characters to interact and converse, it's not hard to ask for or include. It's simply bad writing. More was accomplished in a DS and PSP game. Even Coded.

My impressions and feelings on the game are not readily verifiable but I will talk about my perception on some things.

My BIGGEST problem with what I've seen is how they made a fool out of Aqua, one of the maturest and most respectable characters in this series. The fact that she is made to seem almost if not completely arrogant/lacking self-awareness was definitely a big headache for me (but nonetheless, her appearance greatly excited me). Why did the writers give her the persona of "this is my fight" in such a high-risk (and imo an anti-climatic situation (<----though this could be due to me watching the cutscene with no prior context)). On top of this, she is lying on the ground and ready to be harmed by Vanitus, and I just found the situation to be pretty cringy. I guess Nomura thought this would be acceptable since Aqua did tell Zack in BBS that "I can do this on my own" after Hades brought in the Ice Titan for a 2v1. Still, her behavior seemed very spontaneous and not very plausible. On top of this, I've read about her annoying moments during the Keyblade Graveyard, but I haven't watched the cutscenes. I hope nothing is as bad as The Land of Departure.

My second issue is the treatment of Kairi but we all know this. I am very conservative when it comes to comparing KH3 to FFXV but I can't ignore the comparison between Kairi and Lunafreya. I hope I am wrong about this one and Kairi is given substantial (or at least adequate) development prior to that chapter of the game. Additionally, why go through the trouble of concluding a series with a "death" after the entire saga was already based upon a burden "grief"... when KH3 was intended to put an end and make amends to Xehanort's wrongdoings? Why add on top of what the game was intended to solve? Although an epilogue and secret ending can shut down my concerns, it seems unlikely. Even so, if Kairi is "brought back," I find it annoying that the KH series seems unable to separate its plot from constant grief. The two are so intertwined, it's hard to imagine what ELSE the series has in store post-KH3; I surely hope it's not a situation of "someone experiences 'hurt' or grief, grief is prolonged, someone (likely Sora) comes to save said person, wash, rinse, and repeat." Before KH3 was leaked, I encouraged the series developing after KH3. However, if this all the series has in store, why should it be continued? (I'm not saying it absolutely should not, I am just questioning where the series is currently at with potential.)

Not to be a negative Nancy but these are just MY concerns. I am still excited for the game and I am sure I will get enjoyment out of it. Hopefully for my sake and the series' sake, things aren't as bad as they seem.
