Sending out my soul to worlds more beautiful
World: Unknown

~- Never Let Me Be -~

Brown floated in the air, trying to figure out which way White had gone, leaving him separated from the rest of his group. Hovering above a world, he watched as a cloaked figure, one that looked and felt oddly familiar to him, went zipping past him and descended upon the world. Curiosity getting the better of him, Larxen tapped into the ability he hadn't used in ages, Aura Sight, or also called Eagle Vision on his home world. Larxen felt a rush of emotion he couldn't quite place as the world became dull and muted in comparison to everything else that was around him, only for the small surge of excitement to get strangled by the aura slicked with dark orange and black. It was also during this point that he caught the muted colors of a Nobody, and it took his brain a second to register what was happening.

Which led to him swearing under his breath.

Quickly diving after the cloaked figure, Brown kept sending up a silent plea that he'd be able to stop whatever the witch had planned in time.

"---for your crimes Sononea, you and your allies must forfeit your lives."

"No, that's not fair!"

The cry of despair from Pink made Larxen's damaged heart break, and even led to him doing something else he hadn't done for about twenty or so years. Flicking on the button that would send the glider onto auto pilot, he stood up and leapt off of the glider. Flipping in midair he listened as the wind whistled past him as the faint, distant cry of a hawk tore through the air.

"Haha, you ready for this brother?"

Coolly sneaking a look in the direction of the boy standing beside him, Larxen held the dark grey eyes of reddish-brown haired boy next to him. Why had he let Altair convince him to come out here again? Larxen wasn't entirely sure, but the rookie assassin turned his gaze back to the edge of the building; staring down at the bale of hay down in the street made him felt anxious.

"Come on, this is just what you need; or do you really want to lose a finger?"

Swallowing the fear down, Larxen really wished that his friend... no, his brother, would just shut up. The Master had given the novices all a choice: They could either climb to the tallest building in Florence and do a leap of faith; or they could have one of their fingers removed to become a full-fledged assassin. And of course, being the idiot he was, this novice had chosen to climb a ridiculously tall building and do a leap of faith when he was deathly afraid of heights. So, Altair being a fellow trainee and Larxen's best friend, decided to come with said idiot to help him out with this leap of faith.

Catching onto how scared he was, the novice felt Altair turn his gray eyes onto him and asked in a gentler tone, "Hey, you doing alright?"

The rookie assassin nodded slowly, before he carefully inched closer to the edge and asked, "How often do you think we'll have to do these?"

"I don't think Master Anya will make us do it again after this."

"Really? Okay..."

"Larxen!"

Larxen didn't listen to his friend's startled shout as he practically threw himself off of the tower. Listening to the cry of a red tail hawk as it flew overhead, Larxen closed his eyes to try and block out the image of the fact that he had just jumped off of a building. Muttering a quick incantation under his breath, he felt it when his back collided with the magically softened hay that also protected him from injury...

Opening his eyes that he hadn't realized he'd closed, Larxen climbed out of the hay and looked around. He saw that the witch was hovering over his fellow Nobodies, Sononea, and even some people he didn't know. Squaring his shoulders, Larxen stalked over and called, "Hello bitch!"

Drawing the witch's and, quite frankly, everyone elses attention, he grabbed a hold of Pink's and the little girl's hand and pulled them behind him. His head was pounding in time to his borrowed heartbeat, and that really ticked him off.

The cloaked woman looked at Brown, her face hidden as always behind that damnable hood of her's. Even so, he could hear the smile in her voice as she purred. "Assassin? So you still live?"

”Y-you can’t trust her Larxen, she’ll kill you the f-first chance she gets.”

His control over his temper was shot, and wouldn't yours be if you were effectively cornered by the two that cursed you to this half existence? Not to mention if one of the two was responsible for cruelly slaughtering your surrogate family? Leveling cold, empty eyes on the witch beneath his helm, Larxen snarled, "Of course I still live; not that I'd really call this half-life "living," to quote you. And before you even think about it you lying, manipulative bitch, don't you even dare bring up my sins. You have no right to do that,” he spat. And even though he could tell that Pink was both shocked and scared by this darker side, Larxen didn't really give a damn at the moment.

“Strange? I thought I had every right to lay your sins down in front of you? And besides, if you think about it you’re the one that has no right. You don’t even have the right to be.” All the playfulness had disappeared from the witch's voice, replaced instead by that all too familiar ice.

”Please, you have to promise me you’ll look after Ashlynn, son.”

Keeping his eyes on the witch, Brown spat to his two male coworkers, “Red, Yellow, if you want to live, I suggest you haul your asses out of here. If you want to lie down and die here, nice knowing you cowards.”

“Larxen, stop it!”

”Brother, please don’t let them kill me!”

“Ash!”

The order from Pink came to him from a long distance, and he knew that he was being unreasonable; but he found his button for giving a shit was broken beyond repair. Ignoring his more reasonable teammate, he clenched his fists and took a step forward. He felt the anger curling under his skin, and Larxen wanted nothing more than to let loose on everyone.

“It’s the darkness, he can’t think straight with how much it’s consuming him.”

“Are you serious about this?”

Larxen heard the exchange, but just like with the order from Pink, it was coming to him from a million miles away.

”Shh, you have to focus Larxen. Block out everything and focus on what your heart wants you to do.”

“Aw, poor baby assassin, did the master show up to protect you?”

Larxen didn't like the idea of it, but reflex had him following the whispered command from Anya and totally ignoring the witch. With the soft order he got the clarity he needed to realize what he needed to do. Glancing over his shoulder, he sensed the terror that Pink was emitting from the illogical reaction that he had. “I’m sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you Lexis. How about we get out of here now?”

He felt the little girl’s eyes on him as she asked, “What about the others?”

Crouching down, he ruffled the girl’s hair and answered gently, “You and Lexis are my first concern, and even then, don’t worry; those guys can take care of themselves. But how about we get you girls out of here and to somewhere safe?” He felt a brief surge of relief as the girls followed after him, and yet he felt the hatred and guilt eating away at him since he knew, unless they thought fast, he wouldn't be seeing his male coworkers again.

And the witch’s words just backed it up as she catcalled in his mind, You save the girls and leave the rest of your friends to die; you’re no better than you were twenty years ago!

Conjuring a portal, he urged the girls through it and after stepping inside himself, Larxen collapsed it just as Sononea screams pierced the air, only to be cut short as the hybrid choked on his own blood.

~A Ordeal of New Trouble~

"Huh... Blue Planet... kind of a simple name... oh well I guess," Artem responded as he now noticed the angel's fellow.... "demons" around him one being the creature he had curb stomped a few seconds ago, but he didn't pay to much attention to that factor as the woman in his arms seemed to get quickly attached to him... not that he didn't mind at all.

"Myself? Well I am Keyblade Master Artem... well self named Keyblade master heh never had a master though since I have defeated one I believe I deserve the title," Artem chuckled as the water demon seemed to hiss at him as the angel asked is she could keep him apparently her name was Barbariccia. Why did he suddenly get the feeling he should drop her?

"Well then could you possibly guide me to the closes town... I don't want to cause anymore trouble to you then I already have deary," he chuckled only speaking to the wind demon and ignoring the water demons existence and even the fact that he had landed on him. Yet before he cold even say anther word something strange happened.... another voice not his own... suddenly spoke in his head.

"Hello, someone please answer me!"

Looking around he realized that indeed the voice had come from inside his head as the other two "people" around him didn't seem to hear the voice. With a hesitant look in his eyes he threw out a thought in his own mind. Is someone currently in my head? I am not a fan of mind readers mind you?

"Uhhhhh so then about that town. Would you mind taking me as soon as possible? I need to see if I can find any keybladers or anyone with information about the current war."

♣A Legendary Appearance: A Dire Situation♣

"Thanks purple," Green muttered as he got back up dusting himself off from the surprising shove from his ally. He would have no time to register it all though as the thing in the middle of the group had everyone's now unsettled attention... there right in the dead center of them was a legend the Keyblade Master Riku.

Purple everything I just said a minute ago.... drop it do not hold back against this one or we will get killed.

He mentally sent to Purple as with a swing of his hand he summoned his Chained Cannon. From what he could calculate from the conversation between everybody else the best tactic was to ground Riku and rid him of those magic based wings. With a sudden smirk he started to circle around Riku Until he was on the opposite side of Ceodore.

"Well Princeling I have a feeling me and you are the only one who can go head on toe to toe with this guy for a few minutes so with that said I would direct your people to aim on clipping his wings while he go full out on him... Purple clip the birds feathers the moment you get a chance," With that said Green suddenly spun wildly around into the air before slamming his left foot into his free falling weapon sending it hurtling like a meteor downward at Riku for the starting attack.

"Star Burst," Green called out as his weapon started to spin even faster while launching a few beams of light upon Riku like falling stars.

Left and right, the Abomination Heartless was bombarded with numerous magical projectiles from little mouse girl and the nobody. The impact made the the monstrosity screech in a very warped tone, a cry of a wounded beast. The attacks were directed at the heartless' stolen weapons from Sairu; blowing chunks of black matter off the heartless' arms, loosening its grip in the process.

The dark knight took the opportunity, as he made his step forward, he immediately darted himself forward with lightning steps. The Abomination recovered and saw Sairu coming, it then again swung its multiple arms towards the charging Sairu. He focused, as the first arm fell, he dodged it, strafing to the side then slid his blade to cut down the heartless' arm. Disarming the first weapon.

Sairu grabbed the first weapon and continued his assault, dodging spear tendrils thrown at him. The second weapon was in sight from above him. He crossed his blades and flew spinning towards the second weapon, like a torpedo, clashing with it with the same amount of force applied to it. While performing his attack, the dark knight aligned his blades in a scissor-like formation and sliced off the claw holding the second weapon. While still spinning, he grabbed the second weapon by his teeth, mincing off the spear tendrils that pursue him.

The heartless saw the knight now closing the gap. But before it can take action, it suddenly found its face with a great sword dug through it and Sairu was standing over it. The heartless then retaliates with the final weapon in its claws, a giant maul.

"Right where I want it."

The dark knight smirked. No weapon in hand, he held up his arm. With his sheer physical strength, he caught the giant maul's head and ripped it off the heartless' grip. Just in time for Kixar's ice spike to plunge into the heartless' chest. The monstrosity screamed in pain, with its whole body convulsing, shaking the dark knight off it. Sairu jump forward and armed with his giant maul, he smashes the ice spike through the Abomination's chest, like hammering a stake through flesh. Leaving a massive gaping hole upon the heartless's chest, revealing its glowing core.

Sairu landed on a distance. "Now! Hit that core before it regenerates!" He yelled, signaling both Mina and Kixar to deliver the final blow.

~- Release Me -~

Icy rolled her eyes, a little irritated that she hadn't gotten a response. Continuing with her search, the Gothic clad girl continued calling; hoping that maybe someone would answer her. Sensing a sudden change in the atmosphere, she froze just as it started snowing; something she was all too use to. Calling her weapon to her, the girl looked around her eyes as a boy asked, Is someone currently in my head? I am not a fan of mind readers mind you?

She sighed in relief as someone finally answered, only to smile as they warned her against being a mind reader. Spinning in a circle, Icy continued pacing her space as she answered, "Yes, there is someone currently in your head, and don't worry; I'm not a mind reader. Who I am...it's...complicated." She wasn't sure how to explain it, but she knew she earned this boy a true answer.

Closing her eyes, Icy took in her surroundings for several heartbeats before she opened her eyes again. Pacing the length of her location again, Icy continued talking, "You can wield the keyblade, can you not?" She waited several minutes, giving the boy a chance to respond. "Good, you need to call it and focus your energy, you need to release me."

She knew it was a bland explanation, but she sure didn't know what to do; she wasn't taught how to do this at her school. Chuckling slightly at her own joke, Icy waited to see what the boy would do, tapping her foot in time to the music that was playing inside of her head.

~ Blue Planet ~

~- Standing on the Edge -~

Barbariccia listened to the boy speak, she sensed the mild unease he suddenly got toward her. Climbing out of his arms, she glanced over her shoulder at him, a sad look in her eyes at the idea. "Yes sir, I can escort you to the closest town." She said sweetly, she looked at Cagnazzo, who was still livid with rage at being used as a landing pad. Patting his head, she scolded, "Stop growling at Master Artem."

She smiled in satisfaction as Cagnazzo quieted down at her statement, not that she considered him her 'Master", she just said it to get her teammate to shut up. She motioned for Artem to follow her, and then without waiting to see if he would or not, Barbariccia started walking toward the town; keeping the peak of Mt. Ordeals in view. She knew her way around here, and her mouth turned up in a smile as she started toying with the idea of playing with the boy behind her.

~- Don't Want to Be A Part -~

Rixue nodded at her comrade's thanks, scrambling back to her feet; she stared at the Keyblade Master in front of them. She saw the bored look on Riku's face as he deflected Lance's strike without looking in the direction of the attack. Purple everything I just said a minute ago.... drop it do not hold back against this one or we will get killed. She shot him a quick look, an eyebrow raised as she shot back, Yeah, like I was planning on holding back against him.

She nodded at him as Green started to circle to behind Riku, meanwhile she went to circle him and attack him from the left. She caught the fact Ceodore and Green seemed to be having a private discuss, she even watched as Ceodore moved to help Green execute whatever plan the two had come up with. Keeping her eyes trained on him, Rixue tried to break down when was the best time would be to attack. "You children should quit while you still have the chance." Riku scoffed coldly, clearly letting everyone know his opinion about them.

Bristling slightly, Rixue called on the darkness that was around them; pulling at the shadows; she focused her attention on the attack as she hissed, "Dark Rhapsody." She held her hand out, palm facing toward Riku, causing a rush of darkness to go flying toward him; she cursed under her breath as a portal materialized and out tumbled a little girl...

~- Soul's Not Forsaken -~

Riku parried the strike the young dragoon threw at him, shoving him backwards, a cruel smile danced across his face as the boy stumbled backward. Briefly sparing the child a look, Riku focused back on the group, sidestepping as their archer loosed an arrow; he was totally unfazed as it grazed his cheek. Raising a hand, Riku pulled it away and looked at the blood that stained his fingers. Flicking his hand to scatter the blood, he scoffed, "You children should quit while you still have the chance."

Hearing a noise behind him, he spun to see the green clad warrior and smiled coldly. Leaping backward, he dodged the strike that the Nobody had been aiming for him, mildly impressed by what had happened. I have to admit though, if it had not been for the slip up, I would have been hit with the attack. This one's pretty good with his tactics, I hope he survives the fight. He thought, eyeing the Nobody and deciding to keep a close watch on that one in particular. Raising his hand, he didn't say a word as a burst of darkness and ice magic leapt from his hand, heading straight toward the Nobody that wore green.

Riku glanced over his shoulder at the angry oath that had slipped free from one of them. His eyes widened as he saw what they had, the child that had tumbled out of a portal was in the path of the attack. Leaping forward, Riku pulled the child close and rolled, taking the majority of the attack on his back. Sitting on the ground, his wings wrapped around him, Riku blinked a couple of times to clear the fog of pain from his eyes. Unfurling his wings, Riku rose to his feet, leaving the girl on the ground.

He tuned everyone out, instead his attention was focused on the blue haired child. "You shouldn't be here." He whispered, flapping his wings, he caused just enough of a gust of wind to occur to blow the child off of the battlefield. After she was safely out of the way, Riku called up a honeycomb barrier to surround her, shielding the child even more from harm's way. It was only after the child was safe that he returned his attention to the battle, and his attention was focused on the warrior that had endangered the child in the first place.

"Welcome oblivion," he snarled, tightening his grip on his keyblade, Riku felt the darkness gather around him. Rising up off the ground, he started to rush the battlefield; attacking which member of the group at least once. He saw the wisdom in the purple clad warrior's eyes, she was quick to roll out of the way of his onslaught. An idea coming to his mind, Riku dove for the ground sooner than he usually did; landing right next to the girl, he smiled as the shock wave of darkness knocked her off her feet.

"Bend the light and twist the shadows, that the ether thins and the spirit is lifted toward the heavens!"

Riku whipped in the direction of the girl that spoke that, seeing the wings that spread out from her back; his lips curled back into a snarl at the sight. He could tell the girl was flying on autopilot, because of the glazed look of disbelief in her eyes. He didn't bother to give chase right away, cocking his head to the side, he looked at her before looking at the earthbound opponents. Finally coming to a decision, he took to the air, he hung in the air just out of reach of the earthbound fighters; almost as if to mock them.

Not even removing his eyes from them, he addressed his opponent that was in the air, "Tell me something pup, who did you learn from?"

~- We All Wore Chains -~

Rubicante felt the fever claiming higher and higher, he knew what he did was unreasonable. He knew even now what he was doing was unreasonable, but this fact didn't stop him from moving forward, hunting the girl he knew to be lurking somewhere in the mist. He scanned the fog, trying to see throughout but not having much luck with his task. Rubicante paused in his stride, his white eyes never halting in their search for the ninja girl that he sought. He knew she was around here somewhere, but the question was where.

His mouth turned up in a smile, after all he knew the easiest way to get the girl to reveal herself. "Come on Street Urchin, where is your pride? Are you seriously going to disgrace your father by hiding? What is Rydia and Cuore going to think at your cowardice, orphan? Are you really going to shame not just your adoptive parents, but also your birth parents by being a coward?" He taunted, a twinge of guilt gripping him at his jab about the girl's parents; Rubicante knew just how much the mention of Kit's birth parents upset her.

Rubicante stared at the seven-year-old girl lying in the sand, crouching down he ran his fingers across her face; brushing some of her white hair to the side. "What's your name child?" He asked gently, trying to figure out who she was so he could return her to her parents.

"Kitridge," The girl groaned and rolled over, not that it made a difference, Rubicante could still touch her face. Instead, Rubicante stared at the girl, a thoughtful look dominating his face as he stared down at her. He knew he had heard the name somewhere, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it; he could also tell the child was injured. Sighing a little, Rubicante scooped Kitridge up in his arms and started walking, trying to figure out a little more about her, he asked, "Kitridge...?"

"Hm?"

"What's your last name? I want to take you to your parents."

Rubicante noticed the way the girl-child stiffened in his arms at that, and even how, in a vain effort to conceal her tears, she buried her head in his robe. He came to a stop and tilted his head to the side, a muffled noise drifted up to his ears again. It only took a few moments for him to understand what was going on, Kitridge was crying into his robe. His heart squeezed at her weakness, it also made Rubicante look around to see if there was anywhere there could stop until she felt up to travel.

"No...k-keep going."

This probably surprised him more than her weakness, the quiet determination the girl had. "Right, and I'm sorry about upsetting you." Rubicante said awkwardly, clearly unsure of how to deal with a child. Continuing on his way, it wasn't too long after that he noticed Kitridge had fallen asleep, and shortly afterwards the fire fiend arrived on Eblan's door. Walking up to the castle steps, he knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. Thankfully though, it was only a few minutes before the door creaked open, Edge standing on the other side of the door. Holding his arms out, Rubicante said coldly, "I found this girl in the desert, you'd best see to her quickly."

He gave the girl to Edge, spun on his heel and quickly left, leaving a stunned ninja standing in the doorway. He only slowed down after he was a few miles out of the castle's walls, turning to look back at the castle, Rubicante smiled slightly as he thought,
Goodbye for now little one, I'll be seeing you again. Rubicante turned away and continued walking, positive that his words were true; he would be seeing Kitridge again, the only question was how...

Rubicante's eyes winded as he snapped out of his reverie, he was forced to dive out of the way of a stream of darkness and wind magic. He caught a brief glimpse of the girl running away to a new hiding spot, irritation racing through him he shouted, "Come and fight girl, come and prove you're an adult and not a child. Prove to me that you deserve your position, cambion." If he had been thinking properly, Rubicante would have been horrified at the fact he just used the insult against Kitridge, especially since long ago the natives of the world and Lunarians had sworn never to use it ever again.

Unfortunately, Rubicante was far from thinking properly.

Instead, Rubicante smiled in satisfaction as the girl stopped in her tracks. He knew he had succeeded in what he wanted to do, he knew that he would get a fair fight now. They both wore chains they didn't want, and they both knew this, even more so Rubicante was aware of what those chains were; while Kit did not. Bracing himself, he sensed it as Kit jumped at him from the right; dancing to the right the fire fiend cracked her upside the head. "You must not rise to your opponents taunts, or else you endanger your friends."

He saw the huff Kit wanted to give in answer, and he was surprised when she was able to keep the impulse under control. Sidestepping her, Rubicante struck her upside the head again, it was clear that the blows were taking their tool; he could see it in the girl's face. Fighting back the fog of the fever back again, Rubicante eyed the other warrior again; waiting to see what she would do next. Confusion clear on his face, he looked at Kit as she started laughing about something. "What---?"

"You lose."

Rage latched on and held, drawing a large amount of fire magic to his hand; Rubicante shot it off just as Kit shot off a ball of ice magic. "I told you, you've lost this fight Rubicante." Kitridge said coldly, her eyes just as cold as her voice was. Rubicante smiled slightly at her claim, sure, he may have lost the battle; but there were still plenty more fights in Kit's future; and they were ones she'd be needing her friends to back her up on. Raising his hands in defeat, Rubicante smiled secretively and spoke in acknowledgment, "You are correct, this time."

He watched the fog ease up before fading away, and he found that as that happened, the adrenaline he was working with abandoned him. Fatigue setting in, Rubicante fell to one knee and raised a hand to his head, trying to calm it. Sensing someone standing near him, he stared at the ground and at Kit's shoes, a chuckle escaping him as the ninja girl said, "Heal." The curative magic divided itself between them, although he could tell that the majority of the magic went to him. He shakily got back to his feet and followed her, curious to know where Kitridge was heading this time while still finding it amusing about his fate being chained to Kit's and vice-versa.

~- Watch Me Getting Physical -~

"What! I just missed sexy!?"

Okay, probably not the best thing to say when you first arrive to a world.

Arianne shook her head, more than a tad irritated by the fact she had just missed a certain hottie with wings. She spun in a tight circle, trying to judge exactly where she was at in accordance to her surroundings. She spotted a tree that looked to have something engraved in it. Curiosity piqued, she headed over to investigate only to pause as she heard a cold voice say, “I’m your sister.”

She heard a slight noise that sounded like a blade being slid free, eyes scanning her surroundings; Arianne spotted the origin of the voice as the girl stabbed a boy who wasn't expecting it. Anger rising up in her, Arianne unfurled her wings and took to the air; glad that she was higher up than the two combatants. She scanned the barrier, searching for an opening as one of her mentor's words danced through her mind. When you need the element of surprise, don't go for a frontal assault. Your opponent will see it coming, and don't go at them from behind, they will suspect that. So, if the front and back are eliminated, which way do you attack?

"The sides, or preferably if you can do it, from above," She whispered, she knew that here she needed the element of surprise or else they'd both end up dead. Arianne felt the familiar tingle of her thunder magic crackling across her skin, putting her senses on high alert. Her eyes darted across the honeycomb's surface, searching for a weak spot, only to catch some subtle signs to alert her that it was an ambush; that it had started in a less than honorable way. Anger unfurling in her chest, the girl clenched her fists as she focused on the spot just below her; which just so happened to be the weak spot of the barrier.

Taking a deep breath to try and calm herself, Arianne called her blades to her and dove; using the fact she was in front of the sun to block her from view. Swinging her blades in an X formation, she smiled in satisfaction as the attack collided with the barrier and caused it to shatter. Dismissing her blades, Arianne pulled the pistols out of their holsters and pointed them at the girl. "Coward," she muttered, before she pulled the triggers on the pistols, purposely missing the girl just by a hair.

Landing close behind the girl, Arianne swung one of the guns and pointed the other at the dark skinned boy. "Heal!" She hissed, sending the spell straight to the boy, making sure he was doing better, she snapped her attention, and the other gun, to the girl and moved to stand protectively in front of the boy. Her pulse was roaring in her ears, and the fact she wanted to fight this girl now, really irritated the hell out of Arianne. She preferred to talk things out rather than fight, she had always preferred that method, but the loss of her home had only reinforced it. Glowering at the girl, she snarled, "Listen bitch, either fight with honor or get lost! No one here has the time or energy to deal with a coward."

~- Feel A Little More Pain -~

Kixar watched to see the dark knight went after the Abomination, she ran to the right, avoiding the wide swing the heartless gave as it flailed about in pain. She stopped after the attack had completely missed her, looking over her shoulder she smiled as Sairu proved just how brave, in her opinion slightly stupid, he truly was. Smiling at the boy's actions, Kixar shot off another round of spells, this time a mix of ice and fire magic. "Now! Hit that core before it regenerates!"

She rolled her eyes at the yelled suggestion, her admiration for the boy turning into mild irritation. "Sorrowful waters!" She shouted, watching with green eyes as a pillar of rushing water burst out of the ground and headed straight for the abomination's core. She flexed her hand, feeling the electricity dancing across her skin; she raced her hand and shot off a medium sized ball that collided with the water.

Kixar moved out of the way of any possible retaliating strikes, avoiding the injuries that could have been dealt to her. She came to a stop by one of the trees, she glanced over at her two companions, curious to see what they would do next even as her mind worked on her next move.

"You can wield the keyblade, can you not?"

"Good, you need to call it and focus your energy, you need to release me."

"A little bossy aren't you," Artem mumbled to himself so only the voice in his head could hear it... yep he knew how that sounded. He watched the barely clothed woman of wind release herself from his grip and start to show him the possible way to a village. Without a doubt at the moment he started to follow her summoning his keyblade as requested, and observing it to make sure nothing was wrong with it.

"Sorry sexy, but do you mind if I do something real quick wont take much time I swear," Artem requested as he halted and held his keyblade in concentration as he would in preparation to a summoning. With a soft sigh he concentrated his flow of magic and transferred it to his keyblade waiting to see what would get summoned.

"Alrighty missy show yourself."
.......................................

~♣Danger Days♣~

Green grunted as he used his weapon like a shield taking the attack head on as it started to slowly push him a good few feet back before dissipating from over use. Finally catching his breath Green heard Purples little comment, and chuckled as he his eyes shot to the sky where their opponent, and then down to the... random child on the ground that he started to walk over to as another girl took to the sky to handle Riku temporarily.

"... so... anyone know what this child is about?"

~- Danger Zone -~

Okay, what the heck? Sasha shook her head, trying to clear her confusion. She didn't get it, first she'd been in Halloween Town with Cheza, and there'd been that really weird, creepy girl... and, and... and Sasha's tail! Sasha turned to look behind herself, totally disappointed with she didn't see it there anymore. She huffed a soft breath, then lifted her eyes to see a weird, shining honeycomb around her...

"Wait, what? Lemme out, you big meanie!"

The last couple of minutes catching up to her, Sasha leaped to her feet and ran at the barrier, hoping it'd break with a solid thunk. Instead, she got thunked instead, banging her shoulder up on the barrier before she landed on her tush in the grass. Looking up, she could just see the idiot that had thrown her in here fighting a girl in the sky. Wait a second, did those two have wings?

"... so... anyone know what this child is about?"

Turning to see the man all dressed in green, Sasha jumped to her feet again as she started crying out, "Hey, can you let me out of here? Lemme out, please! I just wanna find Tommy!"

Needless to say, Sasha had no idea that she could very well be in serious danger.

"Tell me something pup, who did you learn from?"

Leyla shook her head, clearing the fog of indecision away at the same time that she gathered her resolve. Trapping her confusion and questions in a box for later, she instead settled a look on Riku and asked coolly, "What's it matter to you?"

Riku's lip curled in the imitation of an unpleasant smile, but Leyla didn't give him time for more than that. She knew she wasn't good enough to defeat him; he was a freaking legend, for crying out loud! However, Leyla hoped that if she had speed and surprise on her side, she'd be able to buy her friends enough time to get away while she drew Riku's attention. Was the thought foolish, maybe even a little arrogant? Perhaps; but then again, it wasn't like the others could get at him at the moment; both Leyla and Riku were hovering too far over the ground for the rest of their group to get at him, and Leyla could just feel Rhys' anxiety over that fact.

This had to end, and fast.

Tucking her wings in close to her sides, Leyla flew at Riku quickly, arrowing in on him. Surprise at her recklessness held the older warrior in place, allowing Leyla to call Imperial Darkness into her left hand and take a quick swipe at him. On the return trip, Leyla called down a massive pillar of Twilight energy, capturing Riku inside of it before she struck him again. Her speed quickening, she kept striking him, stringing together ten more hits before she bolted to the top of the shaft of energy.

Leyla focused, gathering more energy until she could form an orb of shimmering silver grey energy in her palms. She waited a moment longer, letting the energy peak, then she thrust her arms down, blasting another round of energy into the pillar, until the whole thing exploded. "Twilight Aria!"

For one, unwise moment, Leyla hovered in the air, blinking away the starbursts that the excess light had clouded her vision with. Just when she thought maybe she'd pushed him back...

"Interesting technique, little girl, though tell me; how did you learn all of this from a woman that's been dead twenty years?"

Leyla froze as hands clamped onto her upper arms, her wings pinned against his chest. White hot pain shot through her right arm from her injury, and Leyla was barely able to suppress a pained scream at Riku's ungentle grip on her injured arm. His voice was cold, as frosty as his eyes, as he hissed softly.

"My turn."

~- About to Get Down -~

"Now! Hit that core before it regenerates!"

Mina didn't need telling twice. Hopping back for some distance between herself and the Heartless, Mina pulled on the light energy around her, causing a cage of light to form around the Heartless after Kixar had struck it. She let the energy build, waiting for the right moment; then, calling one last flood of light energy to rain down on the abomination, Mina cried out, "Innocent Shine!"

~- The Hell? -~

Yep, this sure as hell wasn't Zack's day. Finding Cheza and getting a lead on Leyla? Good and good. However, Tony going into depressionville and this Timmy guy walking off with Astoria? Talk about a kick in the gut; anytime Tony was hurting set a knife twisting in Zack's chest, and as much as he wasn't sure about the little bastard, Zack had a feeling that Timmy was a good friend of Leyla's, and he didn't think she'd take it too kindly if the dumbass went and did something stupid.

Like say, get himself killed.

However, before Zack could make up his mind on which one to go after, the friend or the brother, the decision was taken away from him. A sharp cry split the air, causing birds to go flying in every direction.

"What! I just missed sexy!?"

"The hell?" His eyes flying wide as he muttered the query, Zack grabbed Cheza's hand and started making his way toward the direction the shout had come from, his mind focused on only one thing. There was no way they were gonna get lucky a third time in just one day.

Where they?

~- Pulling You In -~

"A little bossy aren't you?"

Icy huffed at that accusation, yeah she could be a little pushy, but she wasn't bossy. Shaking her head in frustration, she mumbled under her breath, "Keybladers are so touchy." Eyes darting up, she felt the magic that started to channel around her. Squirming with the feeling, she grinned a little as Artem demanded, "Alrighty missy show yourself."

Closing her eyes, she felt herself disappear and materialize in the real world.

Opening her eyes, she blinked a couple of times as she took in her surroundings. Turning to look at Artem, she shrugged and shot back, "I'm not the one that's bossy, that's all you." She looked at the scantily clad wind spirit and pulled up short, frowning at the girl, Icy turned to Artem and had a clear questioning look on her face as she asked coldly, "And who is she?"

"My name is Barbariccia, bitch."

Icy whipped around at that, her hands clenching into fists as she glared the wind spirit down. "Barbariccia, isn't that the name of one of the characters from Dante's Inferno? You know what, never mind, that's not important. Come on Artem, let's go." She said in a sassy fashion, walking away from Barbariccia, Icy grabbed a hold of Artem's hand and quickly left the three fiends.

After they were a safe distance away, Icy let go of his hand and turned to look at Artem. Blushing in embarrassment, she held out a hand and said cheerfully (or as cheerfully as she could manage through her embarrassment), "My name's Icy, it's nice to meet you finally Master Artem."

~- A Shell With No Soul -~

Riku tightened his grip on the girl's arms, his own rage burning white hot as memories flooded his mind. Sora and Kairi attacking him, Aqua having abandoned them. Ven not bothering to help; instead he just ran away. A part of Riku realized he was remembering wrong, darkness and time twisting the memories into a mockery of the truth, but a greater part of him, the darkness, twisted everything again so that there was more fuel for the fire.

Flinging the girl away from him, Riku floated in the air for a second, judging the distance as he called a small orb of light and an orb of darkness to him. Flicking them both in her direction, Riku watched as the silverette tried to manipulate the two orbs.

"Don't bother, they won't listen to you," he said coldly, keeping a tight grip on the composition of the orbs so that control couldn't be stolen from him.

"Huh?" The girl's face twisted with confusion, even as sweat beaded on her brow from the force of her concentration as she attempted to repel his attack.

"You don't get it, do you? You're not experienced enough to beat me," he whispered, not quite sure why his voice softened. Clenching his fist, the two orbs combined together, imprisoning the other winged fighter. Flexing his fingers, Riku coldly watched as the dark thunderbolts raced around the cage, attacking the girl whenever her guard was down. Lazily making his way over, Riku felt his boredom growing; he wasn't even vaguely entertained by this girl's tricks, so because of that he was holding back.

Actually, he was holding back against all of them.

Riku caught the girl by her wrist as she started to fall, his hand loose around the glove his opponent wore over her hands and lower arms. He stared at her for a few heartbeats, neither of them saying anything as the moment stretched on. For a few breaths, it was completely silent; he could have sworn he could hear a pin drop from a mile way.

Then, Leyla exploded into rage, twisting and turning in his grasp as she struck at him with her left hand balled tightly into a fist. Letting go, Riku flapped his wings and flew backwards as Leyla screeched like an injured yet enraged feline. Covering his ears, he stared at her in open disbelief.

No way in Hell could this be Anise's apprentice. For Kingdom Heart's sake, this girl couldn't be her apprentice even if she tried! Anise was dead!

Wasn't she?

"You traitorous son of a bitch!"

Riku smiled at the accusation, quickly reclaiming his opinion of Leyla. She did remind him of Anise, even to a painful extent as he thought of the girl he'd once seen as a daughter. Clenching his fists, Riku sneered at Leyla even as his eyes returned to being dead; he returned to being dead inside. Cocking his head to the side, Riku did a quick rundown of the most painful way he could make Leyla pay for reminding him of Anise.

After all, he'd make her pay dearly for reminding him of Anise. He'd kill her if that's what it took.

Rushing forward, Riku grabbed Leyla by her wings, suppressing her magic, and flew upwards, so they were higher above the ground. He tightened his grip on the other flyer's wings, not even paying attention to the fact she was attacking him, still hissing and snarling like a small wildcat. He just kept his own assault up as he forced more of his darkness into the hollow bones of her wings. After there was enough in there to have the bones filled, he flung her toward the ground and quickly did a binding spell to make it where she couldn't use her wings.

Diving after her, he lazily called his blade to him and brought it across his body. He didn't hear what Rhys said, but all of a sudden his prey dismissed her wings, the threads of his darkness traveling up in wisps across the sky and fading away. It was here that his mind suddenly registered that there was a column of earth heading his way; quickly changing direction so that he was heading to the right, Riku felt it when the arrow pierced his right wing and then embedded itself within his shoulder. Eyes widening in surprise, Riku fell toward the ground as his mind wandered away to another battle...

He felt the arrow pierce his right shoulder.

Landing hard on the ground, Riku pushed himself up just far enough so he wasn't face down in the dirt. His eyes snapped to the one that had fired it, he couldn't focus on anything else but the eyes. They were just so
cold; none of the warmth that used to twinkle in them remained. He felt first shock and then rage rise up at her betrayal, even as ice unfurled through his veins. "Why would you do this?"

"Why would I do this? How about why would
you do this? Your crimes are too high; you deserve death as your punishment."

He wasn't sure why, but he smirked at this woman. Riku knew it was, as of now, a rare bout of arrogance talking when he scoffed, "Is that so? Then why is it you haven't passed judgment before now?"

The woman smiled, apparently amused by his arrogance; only for the amusement to slide away as he asked sarcastically, "Is it possible that you cared slightly for me like you cared for your pet? The one that we killed?" He saw the way that her face darkened at the remark, and he knew that what he'd said had been a bad idea.

"No; but for your pride, you shall have a fate worse than death bestowed upon you."

"Oh, really? What's that?" He asked, not truly caring what this woman had to say to him. He saw the way her mouth twitched up into a smile, almost like she was hoping he would have asked that. Now, that fact irritated him to no end, and he had met up with some pretty damn irritating stuff.

"
You shall be the instrument to your friends corruption."

He had a brief sense of confusion before the darkness crashed into him like a wave on a beach, and soon, he was dragged underneath the surface....

Riku returned to reality and flipped so he landed on his feet, crouching down in an attempt to get his bearings. Riku couldn't help but sense everyone that was gathered around him. It was unsettling with how close everyone felt, yet they also felt so far away too.

He heard the sound of a bowstring being pulled tight, and he could tell just who was standing the closest out of them. A cold smirk spreading across his face, he sneered, "Shouldn't you put that away before you hurt someone, like yourself?"

"You should know that my aim is true, especially at this distance, Dark Heart."

Riku chuckled, amused at that irony filled comment. A hand shooting out, he grabbed onto the bow and yanked it out of the man's hand. Leaping to his feet since his daze was gone, Riku wasn't surprised when the cloaked man had a sword out and was blocking his attack. Pressing against it, he saw the slight wince that the other man gave because of the pressure on his left wrist. "And yet, despite me being the 'Dark Heart', you're the one that's the fake!" Riku spat, venom dripping from the words like most cats had fur.

~- Last to the First -~

Rixue watched Leyla and Riku for a few moments, before she turned her attention to Green who was examining the little girl. She walked over to the girl, crouching down she frowned slightly as the child pleaded to be let out of the honeycomb barrier. Holding a hand out, Rixue placed her fingers against the barrier and watched as the younger girl mirrored her movement. "What's your name? Who's Tommy?"

Rixue was a little startled when the girl's eyes snapped to her, they seemed so familiar. "Tommy's my brother, do you know where he is?"

She glanced at Green, a quick little thing but her confusion would be clear to him. Focusing back on the other girl, Rixue said gently, "Sorry little one, I don't know where Tommy is."

She spun around at the sudden of someone touching down, tightening her grip on her staff; she was a little surprised when Hawkeye jumped at Riku to attack him. Relaxing her stance ever so slightly, she glanced at Green again and asked mentally, Uh...what do we do now?

Apparently the thought was clear on her face, because Ceodore stopped next to her and said, "Easy, we form a defensive barrier between him and the girl. Besides, you heard Hawk, if we can ground him we stand a better chance." It was then that she noticed that the prince had an arrow ready to fire, before he took aim and let it soar.

Rixue couldn't help but smile as Ceodore said dryly, "What? When you've got two skilled archers, and your friend's a 'flyer', you learn how to use a weapon like a bow."

She shrugged, it did make a lot of sense with what he was saying. She called a liquid flame-like substance of darkness to her hand, sending it after Riku she slid into more of a defensive stance as she waited to see what would happen next.

With the combined effort, Princess Mina and the mysterious nobody, Kixar, both launched a combined attack against the Abomination Heartless. The attacks landed on the heartless' exposed core, exploded on impact. The exposed core shattered, revealing its black beating heart. The skull clad flipped back on the ground and prowled. With just enough momentum, he pounced forward, snatching the heartless' shattered core in mid-air.

Sairu landed on his feet, before his fellow combatants. The bulk of the heartless' physical form slowly approach the dark knight, on a staggering limp for its core. "Not another step." Sairu's voice dripped with venom as he held the shattered core up. The dark knight then clenched his grip on the core tighter, then with a crushing grip, he shattered the core with his bare hands. This caused the Abomination Heartless to wilt away like a dying leaf.

The black matter that was contained within the core, crawled up the dark knight's arm, instead of dripping to the ground. The matter then seemingly seeped through his arm like the armor or he himself absorbed it, like a raw nourishment. Sairu sheathed back his weapons and took a look around.

"Well that was... a rough bump."

The dark knight scratched his head, sporting a rather awkward smile towards Mina and Kixar. "Listen umm... I am still kinda lost? I-If you guys--I-I gals--no! No! Women!" Sairu immediately fell into an awkward fit. One moment he was like a battle-hardened warrior, then a stuttering mutt the next; a complete turn-around. "So uh... if you will have me. I-I... may I tag along with you?" Even though it's a mess of a request, he did his best to offer his company. Still scratching the back of his head.

Hawkeye.

He shouldn't have taken that name, he probably shouldn't have even introduced himself as that. Ronin, the word for a samurai that has lost his honor was much more appropriate for him. So, that was what he would now call himself.

Ronin inched slightly to the right, keeping his blade locked with Riku. "You know you can't beat me, I know your tricks as well as you know mine." Riku snarled, a feral light in the other warrior's eyes, and he was right. Ronin knew Riku's fighting style like the back of his hand, and even knew that the other warrior knew that fact. A smirk coming to his face, Ronin hopped backwards, breaking the stalemate and confusing Riku.

"It's true, but that's to be expected from two pieces of the same whole." Ronin answered calmly, a slow smile spreading across his face as he gathered energy. The orb of light and darkness that surrounded the two zeroed in on the hybrid, ignoring its caster. "You know what this attack does, what it's based off of. So, are you really sure you want to do this? Or at least right now when there's innocents involved." Ronin warned, his voice growing cold as he looked the hybrid dead in the eye.

"Do you think I care about innocents? Those Hikari bastards sure as hell didn't care."

Ronin clenched his hands, that group was in the past; and besides. It didn't matter what they did, Riku was like that; he was supposed to care. Muttering a quick string of Latin, Ronin watched as some little needle points of light and darkness moved away from the orb. The two newly created ropes lashed out, striking against Riku's arms before returning to Ronin again. He felt the pressure on the outside of the orb, keeping his expression neutral Ronin called more whips of darkness to him and had them lash out at Riku, who easily deflected them.

"Do you really...You dirty sneak!""

The question turned insult was because of the barrage of arrows that had slipped through the wall. Ronin rolled his shoulder, ignoring the mild ache from where he'd be grazed. "I can keep this up all day, and you're just playing with them. How about you ditch for now and then, if you really want to fight; you come back later when it'd be a lot more interesting for you?"

Ronin saw the feral snarl that unfurled across the other warrior's lips, even as his eyes grew darker. "Okay, fine, you win for now but..." Ronin narrowed his eyes as Riku smirked, before the winged warrior rushed him. Collding with him hard, Ronin dismissed the barrier so he didn't get hurt by his own techinque. Kicking out at Riku, the disgraced warrior felt his foot connect with the fallen keyblader. Landing hard on his back, Ronin rolled onto his stomach and pushed himself up, searching with his mind and senses to make sure that the keyblader was going to be true to his word.

"He's gone for now."

The remark from Ceodore helped him to relax, climbing to his feet Ronin did a quick scan of his surroundings to make sure everyone was okay. Rhys had Leyla taken care of and everyone else looked okay, so that just left Kit and the girl in the honeycomb barrier. Walking over to the barrier, Ronin waved his hand and dispelled it from around the strange girl. Crouching low so he was on the child's level, Ronin smiled warmly as the girl babbled, "Where's Tommy? Who was that guy? Where's Cheza?"

"Shh, I don't know who this Tommy or Cheza is, but I'm sure that they're fine. What's your name little one?" Ronin spoke, keeping his voice calm so the girl would know that there was nothing to be worked up about.

The girl looked at him, a little confused by his features even as she answered, "My name's Sasha, and Tommy's my brother. I just want to go home with him." Tears coming to her eyes, the girl looked around frantically, searching for the boy that was clearly not there.

"Nice job back there Hawkeye," a voice said.

Ronin didn't answer at first, instead he reached out and ruffled the child's hair before he rose to his feet and turned to face the speaker. Looking Ceodore dead in the eye, he answered, "My name's Ronin, I discarded the name of Hawkeye seventeen years ago when I failed my friends." Looking at everyone in turn, Ronin added, "Come on, it's clear that Mt. Ordeals has quieted down now; so let's do a quick check of it and than had back to town. Green, you're in charge of doing a quick perimeter check along with you coworker. Hop to it, I want results now."

Ronin didn't bother to wait for an answer, instead he turned around and walked away; deciding to go looking for their missing teammate himself. Besides, if he was right about the girl, it'd probably be best if he found her first before any of the others.

~- Light Conversation -~

Kixar watched Sairu finished the creature off, and she was impressed with the way he managed it. Nodding in approval, she almost rolled her eyes when Sairu stammered, "Listen umm... I am still kinda lost? I-If you guys--I-I gals--no! No! Women! So uh... if you will have me. I-I... may I tag along with you?"

Standing at the mess, she blinked a couple times as she tried to figure out what to make of this change. Looking in Mina's direction, she shrugged a bit in answer to any question that Mina might throw in her direction. Looking back toward Sairu, she answered carefully, "Well, if Princess Mina doesn't have an issue with you tagging along, I don't mind."

She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, all of a sudden not sure about any of this. Looking him up and down, Kixar asked nonchalantly, "How long have you two been fighting anyway? You were both pretty impressive in that fight."
