Well Somebodies don't necessarily look exactly the same as their Nobodies (i.e: Sora and Roxas, Xehanort and Xemnas), so the eye color change was probably just for design purposes in my opinion

Lea's eyes are green. Axel's eyes are green.

Isa's eyes are blue. Saix's eyes are yellow.
And we know that using darkness eventually results in yellow eyes.

So there you go. ;D

i Agree with you

(25 characters rule is troll)

Maybe if you would have put something productive to the subject at hand you would already have 25 chacters.

Anyways the yellow/orange eye color seems to be connected somehow to falling in darkness. it has been associated with Ansem SoD, Xemnas, Master Xehanort. Although it always got me to thinking why would Ansem the Wise have orangeish/yellowish eyes. Hmm?

So anyways Isa seems to have greenish eyes and Saix has yellow eyes. So im guessing Isa fell into darkness right before his change into a nobody

Yeah, this seems to be the most plausible explanation. We've already seen examples of this throughout the series.

Ooh, that's a juicy tidbit of info you picked up on there. I was wondering why Lea and Isa (who seem optimistic enough if not downright cheerful) would ever succumb to darkness...but now it seems like maybe Isa did and then Lea followed him or something...I don't know, but it is interesting to say the least.

Axel eyes have never turned yellowish/orange. So we can all assume he has never fallen into the darkness. And as for Isa. I really have no idea. Like you said he probably was a pretty chill guy. But who knows why he fell into the darkness. Lust? Greed? Power? Gulit? Jealousy?? who knows?

Ansem used the darkness himself after he'd been banished to the Realm of Nothingness.

Ansem the Wise said:
My choice to befriend darkness here in the midst of nothingness was a sound one.

The moment I stared straight ahead with a calm heart, neither rejecting darkness nor fearing it, I gained a newfound power.

A superhuman power—the power of darkness.

It is likely Xehanort and the others were enraptured by this power, eventually becoming its prisoners.

I do not intend to allow my heart to be devoured by the darkness as they did, of course.

I meant that Isa embraced the darkness and tried to turn himself into a Heartless/Nobody or something, and then Lea showed up trying to stop his friend...and accidentally got turned into a Heartless/Nobody himself. And it was that rift of Lea not wanting to be dark and Isa wanting to be an astronaut no matter what the cost that formed the huge rift between them in 358/2 Days. Maybe.

Roxas, Namine and Xemnas are special nobodies. I am not sure about Xemnas but I here he is. Thus, they don't look exactly like their somebodies when Vexen, Lexaeus and all that do.
Sure, there are differences (Braig, Ienzo, Dilan's hair) but there is still a year (and illusion powers) to change them.

I think Saix's eyes have a plot behind them.

It's because he apparently has an emotion: Rage.
"Anger and hate are supreme"

As for the eye change, Terra's eyes changed when he was tainted by the darkness. I would believe that this was because MX froze Ven. And wanted to kill him out of revenge which is what tainted him to darkness. The eyes are the window to the soul, it is possible that Isa met Xemnas, before he was a nobody and somehow was tainted. Lea may have fell to darkness, because Malificent took over RG which she then named Hollow Bastion.

I don't think it's rage that changes a person's eyes but simply the darkness overwhelming them. There's this theory I have about when someone uses the darkness too much, kind of like in Star Wars when someone uses the darkside of the force, their apearence changes. Take Saix, Xigbar, and Xehanort. Xehanort, if he was Terra, he started off with blue eyes and brown hair. Then the trailer's (the Jump and Final Mix+) show his eyes turning yellow and releasing the darkness inside him. I believe that yellow eyes and white hair is the sign of someone fully using or imersed in the darkness. Then take Saix and Xigbar; both begining to show simmilar signs: both their eyes are yellow when Braig's eyes were brown and Isa's were blue, and Xigbar is even starting to show white streaks in his hair eventhough Braig didn't have them.

(ahem) Sephy, I said he was tainted by darkness, I think that it is possible that the eye's change as the same result that creates Unversed, a negative emotion.

Something else to point out is Saix has those pointed ears, while Isa doesn't. Obviously Isa hasn't submitted to the darkness yet. I'm wondering if any of this will be explained in BBS or not.
