I've Kinda be one to go with the nobodies not aging. There is no evidence either way and as a leap of faith I think it makes for a better story that way.

And with the yellow eyes, I was under the impression it was a side effect of using the corridors of darkness. I think Lea and Isa's fall to nobodies had to be quite different from the rest of the experience. In my mind with the breaking up of radiant garden they fell in with Xehanort's group and things led to another. I don't know what else to say at this moment. I got a lot of theory of how it works but nothings confirmed so I am no better than anyone els.e

That's not really a possibility, all of the nobodies use corridors of darkness(except Roxas whose attribute is light). The only nobodies with golden eyes are Xigbar and Saix.

To me, so far out of all the Saix theories the one 'Saix was experimented on by Xehanort' is the most believable and makes the most sense. There's no doubt in my mind he and Isa are connected to Xehanort.

As for Lea, I think Isa persuaded him to become a nobody. Saix clearly states in KH2+FM that Axel couldn't stand not having a heart, which makes me believe Lea didn't jump into the darkness 100% willingly like the apprentices. Maybe becoming nobodies was a part of their 'plan' all along?

Roxas still used Corridors of Darkness even though he was light attributed. In Days, that's how he traveled around to different worlds.

That he used them does not mean he could conjure them...as in Days the corridors were opened by someone else as far as I know. He could of course choose where to exit once inside.

On the other hand I don't really think that your primary attribute (which is used mostly in battle) has to do with the ability to conjure dark corridors.
Unlike Riku and Ansem SoD, none of the Org XIII-members had darkness as their attribute....they could most likely use them because as beings of the in-between (which nobodies are) they could use feats from both the dark and the light.

I could have sworn to see Roxas summon a COD. Then if not then how the hell was he able to escape TWTNW to Twilight Town there isn't a portal waiting there like there was for Sora. So what was it a Door to the light? So did he just get there using Sora's God power. and it would make sense gameplay wise since Roxas was always able to RTC when finshed with solo missions.

Oh yea remember the destiny island's scene. Roxas used a COD.

but none of the apprentices wanted to become a heartless. Only Xehanort did, and that is the reason as to why he was able to keep his personality as Ansem SoD (and was so messed up in the head as Xemnas).

I just doubt that the test will just be hitting floating balls and dueling each other. Aside from that, it's kind of hard to make assumptions.

Honestly that was a terrible test, but i guess it was before they traveled through worlds freely. Sonce Riku and Sora do that all the time its more likely that their quest will span multiple worlds.

Don't look on Eraqus's test methods...the entire time during Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Mickey was in his MoM exam as well and he did not just spank around some floating energy balls.

It's almost ensured that the way Yen Sid does the exam is way different than Eraqus does.
Furthermore, if one reads "Xehanort's Letter" from BBS Master Xehanort mentions a "traditional examination" so this reinforces the claim that there is more than one way to do the exam.

It is funny. Yen Sid's test involved delving deep into your mind, fighting your worst enemies, visiting unknown worlds, redefining trust and surviving. Eraqus's test involves....hitting balls of light and a sparring match.

I do wonder how exactly the test will be done from Ye Sid. i was thinking, maybe they try and use Castle Oblivion again to recreate those worlds? Maybe then they accidentally stumble upon THAT room.

They can't stumble upon the Chamber of Repose, not without Aqua. Only she can find it. Even if they found the actual room, when they entered it would probably just look like a normal room.

Indeed, the chamber of Awakening cannot be reached without Aqua's help, so the chance for them to get to it is zero.

The chamber of Repose depends however...as it is part of the underground laboratory Xehanort and the apprentices built in the underground below the Castle in Radiant Garden it may be accessible to Sora and Riku...with some help of Tron and the computer system.

Seems so, *ggg*.

The chamber of Awakening is the brighter one with the Mark of Mastery symbols where Ventus's body is kept in Castle Oblivion.
The chamber of Repose is the one seen with the nobody emblems which houses Aqua's "resting" armor (repose => synonym for rest) in Radiant Garden.

The chamber which holds Ven's body is most likely named as such because he has to wait to be "awakened".
At least that was what Aqua initially had in mind. She wanted to find Terra and return together with him to try together to wake Ventus up...she didn't exactly know how bad the shape of Ven's heart really is.

Y'know, this way to look at it makes as much sense as well...lol, if you count in Xemnas.
Still...almost all official sources I have seen and read say the chamber of Repose is the one in Radiant Garden, take also a look around in the interviews-archive...there are various tidbits that confirm the chamber of Repose/Sleep being the one Xemnas went to and the chamber of Awakening the one which Xemnas wanted to find so badly and sent the Organization to look for as of yet unknown reasons.

Haha, yea i believe you, i just always thought that. And when i had trouble discerning the two, i would be like "sleep...vens asleep okay makes sense." Somehow i justified the wrong thing.

*chuckles*
There's actually nothing wrong with that explanation...as it fits as well.

There are still much things hazy/mysterious in regards to those two chambers as well, as i.e. Xemnas talking and apparently getting an answer sometimes as heard by Xigbar.
Why Xehanort even constructed the second chamber so stunningly similar to the one which holds Ventus, pretty much sure that is a memory-issue, either of Eraqus or MX-memories.
If I remember correctly there was also something said about using the chamber in Radiant Garden as a "key" to find the other one...but I need to rewatch the additional KH 2 FM-cutscenes. (damn you japanese only stuff that is important to the whole story, meeeh.)

Oh i totally wish i could understand japanese. Would make my life so much easier.

I don't really know how the Chambers relate. I mean they don't have any kind of literal connection. One was made in CO by Aqua's magic, while the other was just built by Ansem.

Tell me about it, lol.

I'm not too sure about that, since Xigbar strongly hinted a connection between them to Zexion.
The chamber of Repose was constructed by Xemnas though, not by Ansem the Wise.
Xigbar says that Xemnas constructed that room after he banished Ansem and removed the seal on the laboratory which Ansem had put there on Mickey's suggestion.
Xigbar also says: "With the room of Sleep (which is the chamber of repose) comes the Room of Awakening.", hinting a connection.
Furthermore he goes on to point out that this room wasn't made by Xemnas and that's what he seeks and where probably the other "friend" is, putting it also in these quotation marks.

I know very few japanese, but I heard out of Xigbar's japanese voice that while he used a similar sounding word, he didn't use "tomodachi" as word for friend...0_o

Pretty much stuff still to uncover in DDD and KH III I would say, lol.

Now, i know the secret passed to Aqua as a master was that she can transform LoD into what she wanted, right? In that case, she made the room with Ven look like that, so then no one should know what it really looks like except her. How then was Xemnas able to recreate a near exact duplicate of the room himself, something he never saw?

Good point. I was thinking that maybe Ven's heart in Sora could direct him towards the room with Ven's body.
