Multiplayer Online?

Is there a way to play BBS online without using a PS3?
I havnet gotten around buying one yet but i already bought the game.

Well its not all that bad. I had bought birth by sleep first for $70 since there was no way I was gonna be able to get the BBS bundle.( $350 freaking dollars)
But later I decided to buy the bundle so now I have 2 games(talk about useless) and I can at least play with someone else if I let them borrow one of my copies.
I tried that but it didnt work but I dont know if I'm choosing the right settings. Which is hard since its all in japanese.
Ill find out how to do that later.

If it's the same with the NA release of BBS, can u play it with Xlink kai? or is it only for UK residents?

But what really bugs me is that my friend can go to the online lobby whereas I, who had exactly the same options with him, can't.. And of course I've already turned my WLAN switch on..
