Okay, so I've been thinking quite a while since the secret ending was revealed. This is kind of a long theory. Here it goes.
I think that the U.E.M originated in the world of darkness and eventually mastered the art of darkness. With his strong powers, his heart became stronger as well which explains the keyblade he wields which has a keychain. Soon after, he sought out an apprentice. He chose Xehanort as his apprentice and tought him the ways of darkness. After Xehanort had mastered the darkness, the U.E.M gave him a keyblade with the power to erase memories. Now I think this is where the "one legend says it's wielder saved the world while the other said he wrought chaos and ruin apon it" comes into play. I believe that U.E.M and Xehanort terrorized the worlds, but the three knights,Ven,Aqua, and E.S foiled their attemtps several times. So one day,U.E.M sends Xehanort on a mission to destroy the knights. He gives him new armor[the one seen in the secret ending] and he summons a beast of some sort to help him. So, Xehanort finds the three knights and unleashes the large beast apon them. After a while, the three knights begin to weaken Xehanort so he flees and leaves the beast behind. The three knights defeat the large beast[this would explain the large monster E.S. is standing on in Sunset Horizons]and after this great battle, the three knights become chosen by Sora,Mickey, and Riku's keyblades. They all approach the keyblades and choose their keyblade. Suddenly, they hear a rumble in the distance and look off in the distance. They see the U.E.M approaching them. He then summons Xehanort who is still wearing his protective armor. Then the E.S rushes at both of them and the U.E.M uses his darkness mastery to lift the large pieces of rock. So, the battle goes on until the U.E.M turns his keyblade into a ball of energy and fires it up into the sky and unlocks Kingdom Hearts with the energy which explains the look of accomplishment on his face afterward. I think he was planning to use the darkness of Kingdom Hearts to fill the worlds with chaos and ruin which could explain the odd change of E.S.'s eyes. At this point, I'm not really sure what Mickey has to do with the secret ending, but this theory doesn't really concern him. Anyway, so the knights get to the U.E.M[Ven being freed with Firaga] andthe battle him until he can't take much more of it and he flees back to the world of darkness to heal himself and he leaves Xehanort. So the three knights seal back Kingdom Hearts. Then they find Xehanort still there. He fights with them for a while unitl one of the knights takes his keyblade and uses it against him. With Xehanort's keyblade, they knock Xehanort unconcious and leave. Now, remember when I said that I think Xehanort's keyblade had the power to erase memories? Well, if the knights defeated him with that keyblade that could explain why he would have all of memories erased. So, Xehanort wakes up alone and has no idea were he is ,but he does remember his name. he travels far until he has no more energy because of the battle against the knights and he collapses in Hollow Bastion where Ansem the Wise finds him. Ansem takes him to his lab and heals him before he dies. When Xehanort wakes up, he meets Ansem. Then Xehanort tells Ansem his name and decides to become his apprentice. Ansem then gives him him white clothes. As Xehanort learns of darkness again from Ansem and his studies, he begins to remember his past ,but only a little bit. So, he ventures out and finds the darkness. When he becomes too overwhelmed with darkness, he splits into Ansem and Xemnas. As Ansem, he remebers his past life and goes to fufills the U.E.M's plan: to use the darkness of Kingdom Hearts to terrorize the worlds. This starts KH1. As Xemnas, he gathers up a group of strong Nobodies[with the exeption of Demyx] and they try to regain their lost hearts. This starts KH: Com,and after that KH2. So maybe the next KH game will tell more about Xehanort.
Wow. That took a while to write. So what do you guys think about this? I thought about 2 weeks on this thing and it took me some time to put into words. Also, if you don't agree with the theory, please don't be all like "OMG THIS THEORY SUCKS!" please say it in at least a somewhat respectful manner[now that sounded kinda sappy] becuase this was a VERY thought on theory so plaese don't be rude about it. I'll understand if something is wrong in my theory. Anyway, let the posting begin!
