Mystery Title Possibilities?

I know there is supposed to be a another tittle after DDD and before KHIII, I also know the most likely one is BBSv2, however, those flashbacks during the TGS DDD trailer made me doubt about BBSv2; why put those on DDD instead of BBSv2? So, in the rare case that BBSv2 is not the next tittle what other possibilities do we have? I'm willing to bet on a Re:358/2 Days (which, for some reason, i've never heard anyone consider) or a game based on the Keyblade War...sooo, any other ideas?

Putting them in DDD instead of BBSv2 would be due to the fact they have something to do with the DDD story line.

Reasons opposing those possibilities:
1. A remake may not count.
2. It wouldn't make sense for about half the scenes from BBSV2 to appear in Days.
3. I think Nomura may have actually stated he wouldn't remake Days.
4. Nomura said he wouldn't go further back in the timeline.

All around, BBSV2 is much more likely.

That has absolutely nothing to do with remakes; that's only applicable to not going past BBS time line wise.

Now that I think of it, he sort of said that he wouldn't go back any further in the timeline to before Sora was born, because the first scene of BBS is when Sora was born.

358/2 Days
1.) A remake wouldn't count, otherwise all the HD remakes, if they are ever made, would be the Mystery Game, and they aren't.
2.) Nomura also wouldn't have acted like it had already been started when he mentioned the mystery game in the BBS Ultimania, if it was 358/2. For one, why would you immediately start on a remake of a game that you just finished.
3.) There are also the scenes of Aqua in the RoD that wouldn't be explained in a remake of 358/2 Days.

Keyblade War:
1.) A Keyblade War game wouldn't have a form of Sora as the lead, or a character connected to Sora as the lead. Nomura has stated that KH is Sora's story, so he wouldn't make a game relating to the Keyblade War, an old legend, that happened long before Sora was born.

BBSv2 is a lot more likely. Also, 3D and BBSv2 are supposed to connect to III, so there are several ways to include part of the lead-in story in 3D, and part of the lead-in story in BBSv2.

I never said nothing about those scenes appearing in Days, (some of them would make some sense in DDD...i think...) Also I did said that BBSV2 was the more likely one, I just said "in the rare case is it not, what other possibilities do we have?" thanks however for saying what Nomura stated, never heard that before, and about the "tittle", sorry, english is not my first/main language so I make mistakes pretty often...just ignore them, thanks for letting me know though so I won't make the same mistake again

i also think BBSv2 will be the next sub game in the series. KH3 isn't even in development yet, so they'll probably try to make use of their current graphics engines before considering how to approach KH3. if you think about it, Nomura probably wants to post pone development for quite some time by giving us little interquels and prequels before he even wants to approach how to make KH3. For example should it still use the same art style as the previous games? does he want to wait for the next sony system before he considers making it? or could there be a secret bidding war between companies over who gets the next gen KH3? and we also have to consider how much KH3 will cost depending on if they want to keep it in the same graphics engine or go for something entirely different.

but overall i would like to see what BBSv2 will be about. my guess is that it could be about Aqua and her lonely years inside the Road of Darkness. how she was able to survive all those years trapped in darkness fending off the heartless all the time.

The secret ending to BBS is the preview to the secret ending to DDD, which is BBSv2, obviously.

@Cryxoc I don't think it's likely they'll include Aqua's and Mickey's time in the Realm of Darkness. I know that you're just talking about possibilities, but it has to be believable. With the title BBSV2, I just don't see any other believable possibilities. With the information we have, those ideas can't even be considered.

Your whole post of reasons was set up to defend why the mystery title would not be Days, so expect everyone to assume to know what you were thinking when you wrote it is absurd. You set it up to lead someone to think you were talking about not going back to remake past titles.

As said before, there will not be anything before the timeline of BBS.

So no past-Keyblade War game. Don't get your hopes up people who want it to happen.
There's nothing saying that the KH story may take the direction of a second Keyblade War, I mean MX wanted to start another in BBS. Who's to say he won't try again....maybe even succeed?

Even then that doesn't change the fact that the keyblade war was more than thousand years ago and is, bluntly said, irrelevant to the future of the plot.
We know the outcome of it and that it destroyed the whole universe, it has served its purpose as a background setting. There's simply no need to get further into it.

heres what would be the coolest thing ever, even if it doesnt have anything to do with the story line:

a multiplayer version of the Keyblade war for the ps3, with customizable keyblades, players, perks and a campaign as well as online. Kingdom Hearts, Call of Duty style.

We don't know anything about the war so how can we possibly say for absolutely sure it won't? For all we know Sora's the reincarnation of the war's hero, or some of the combatants didn't die but are lying in wait for the X-bade to return. Or something, anything could happen.anything.

FF games love going into the origins of their respective worlds so why would KH's remain vague?
