We know Kairi will be more important for KHIII, because Xehanort will be after the PoH to force the 7 lights to fight his 13 darknesses and forge the χ-blade. DDD's secret ending shows that Yen Sid sent Riku to bring Kairi to him, presumably to learn how to fight using her keyblade. What this has to do with Naminé is: can she use the keyblade? Roxas was able to because he was Sora's Nobody, and since 1: it is widely thought that Kairi gained the ability to wield the keyblade when she touched Aqua's, 2: Naminé was made from Sora's body, and 3: she might have been influenced by Ventus (aka, blonde hair), she should wield one, too. But, we never see her with one. Maybe this mystery holds answers to the question of what she is.

There seems to be more and more evidence supporting the idea that Namine has wielding potential, but I think we haven't seen her wield one for the same reasons we haven't seen Kairi wield one much: there hasn't been much opportunity and Kairi wasn't supposed to be officially revealed as a wielder until 3D (she does wield because of Aqua btw). I some how doubt that her wielding ability, or lack of has to do with what she is because as long as she has a strong enough heart she has the potential, though I'd rather she didn't

him) or with anybody.

Because that would change up at least the
half of JustSnilloc's theory.

for the luck and piece of every heart in every world
and thus is connected to everything. (which would
maybe kinda clear things up, but I'm not sure

You've got it. She can only rearrange Sora's memories and by doing so she can effect those connected to him.

Whether or not Namine IS able to use a keyblade or not, I'd love to see Naminé take center stage, just like Kairi is most likely going to in the new one considering that she was such a massive part of the secret ending for DDD.

Didn't Nomura say that he liked changing things up if anybody ever figured stuff out? If he ever found this thread he might just change Namine into being the real Princess of Heart and Kairi is the Nobody and explain it with time travel or something similarly convoluted.

Technically both are correct. When Roxas became a Nobody he kept Ventus' heart, thus shaping his appearance. However, he was also forming his own heart just like some of the other Organization members.

Ven's heart is how Roxas was even able to dual wield the Keyblade.

Yes, you need two hearts to dual wield.

Couldn't defeat Ansem SoD? Why? Sora has earned his Keyblade on his own strength.

Yeah, it's basically a little party.

Impossible. Sora lost his body (and Ven's heart) in Hollow Bastion. Roxas would have Ven's heart while Sora was fighting Ansem at the End of the World.

Of course not. Roxas had his body during that time. Sora was just a "walking heart".

Mickey can't dual wield. He has two keyblades, though. One is Yen Sid's which he earned in BBS and the other is the Kingdom Key from the Realm of Darkness. He switches between the two.

Yes except Sora fused back with Roxas at the start of kh2. When roxas says his 'my vacations...over...' Line.

He hadn't really accepted being a part of Sora until they fought in Sora's heart. After that Roxas accepted it.

In KH2FM there's a battle in Sora's heart between himself and Roxas (in front of the Skyscrapper in TWTNW). Roxas didn't want to be a part of Sora; he wanted to be his own individual. So Roxas appearing before Sora at the end of KH2, and the battle between them, is more or less Roxas' way of accepting Sora as his "Other".
