Urgency has required me to update now. Urgency meaning K_K IS HURTING MY BRAIN! >_<

Ketso had a really weird "I'm-falling-up!!!!!!!" sensation, and he woke up flat on his back. He rolled over onto his hands and knees, and collapsed. His right arm was gone.

"AGH! MY AUTOMAIL! AGH! MY ARM!" He flipped over and ran, his whole body in shock. He ran far, as if that would bring back his arm, and fast, as if that would reverse time. Suddenly, he ran right into a lake. He swam until his hand and knees could rach, and he crawled rapidly to a shallower part of the lake. He stared into it, breathing heavily. Suddenly, he snatched a fish out of the water and yelled "I NEED CLOSURE!!!!" at it. He then threw it back into the water, staring into the murky pond.

"I wanna see my friends!" he moaned. Suddenly, the water made huge ripples, and he looked down. There was Piku!

"I shoulda believed them! They were right and I was..." He new she could never say that she was wrong. "Not right! I have to find him and-"

And then Piku collapsed. She woke up, made breakfast, and stuffed her face. Ketso's attention snapped to that old picture on her wall. The one with the plaque that sayd "People I'm not gonna kill. Intentionally." on it. Ketso's face was wiped away from it! Instead, a very happy Myra was glomping an almost-happy-Kaze!

Ketso was about to punch the water, but it changed! Rikku and Gerard were looking at the sword that Ketso had given his brother, but the next second, they were hugging! He turned away, and saw, in turn, all of his friends.

"Their memories!" Myra and Amme seemed to be okay, though. Myra was now dreaming of all the bishies, but Ketso was nowhere to be seen! Amme was in the mortal world, practicing her swordswomanshipnessyo.

Ketso stared in disbelief as the water's images faded away. He was forgotten. Was this his greatest fear?

"WHAT THE HECK?!" He threw his fist through the water. He shook his pointing-hand towards the sky. "IS THIS YOUR IDEA OF CLOSURE?!"

He splashed the water again, glowering. He had no cause. He didn't know about his past- No. He didn't "Not know about his past", he didn't HAVE a past. And how could you have a future if you didn't have a past?

"I HAVE NO CAUSE! Do I even have a heart?" Ketso asked. Maybe there was hope. If he had a heart, he could start over. It wasn't as if he didn't know where his friends lived. He did know. He could go there and make friends with them again. A hand went to his chest. He was almost happy.

And then he felt it. That black, hard scar. It was there. He looked down reluctantly. It was there. That sign he'd lived with for so long. It was there. And he was heartless.

Curses streamed out of Ketso as a blinding pain rose in his eyes. He saw their crimson glare in the pond, and he saw similar flashes of red as blood fell and that familiar wing flew out of his back. A shield flew into his hand, and after a second, Ketso realized that this was a new weapon. It was a black heart with a red border. Large spines flew out of everywhere, and blood-red colour flared at the ends of the spines.

Ketso looked around, anger still burning inside of him. He needed transportation. He glared as he stalked off into the forest. There had to be something. Anything. And there was. It was ancient, but it was a gummi.

Actually... Ketso walked to the side of the rust-coloured... thing that was going to be his ship. He knew this thing would make Piku and Kaze cry. They loved gummies. He saw that something was inscribed on the gummi's hard steel. He wiped it away.

"The S.S. Goodfernuthin. A State-of-the-art Spongey." Spongey?! SPONGEY?! Ketso found it funny, and actually laughed his way out of "Super-Serious-The-One-In-Between" mode. He climbed inside of the rusty gu-spongey. It was dusty and incredibly low tech. Ketso felt that he could actually pilot this thing. He hoped it went at least half as fast as a gummi. He pressed random buttons and then found the one that said "Warp".

Then he saw the one that said "on", and pressed it. THEN he pressed warp and was good to go. He was really lucky; Piku had practically INSCRIBED Ketso's BRAIN with different coordinates for different planets.

"It's time tah go home!" Ketso said, happily. He decided he didn't need a heart. Who needed a heart to be happy? Besides. Maybe a heart caused way more trouble than it was worth.

He was really surprised when the Spongey seemed to go three times faster than the gummi. He was in front of Piku and Gerard and Rikku's apartment complex in no time. He walked up the stairs, excited to see his friends. To his relief, they all seemed to be in there. But someone seemed to be exploding.

He knocked on the door. It was kicked off its hinges by a familiar imp. He actually hugged Piku, which seemed to be a mistake.

Instantly, he was on his stomach, on the ground, with Piku's blade at his neck.

"Piku! He's a cripple! Let him go-"

"-You've done enough, High Summoner." Piku's voice was filled with malice. She turned back to Ketso, who was groaning. "Who the heck are you, and why the heck did you just hug me?"

Her blade was a millimeter from his neck. Ketso gasped in pain, having had the air knocked out of him. He twisted his neck and saw all the faces that ever mattered to him. All of the faces he'd ever care about, staring blankly at him. They didn't remember. Ketso was glad he didn't have a heart right then.

He really didn't feel like having another break right now.
