Maybe this is what MX meant when he said that he left many roads open? He knew maybe that if he were to fail, his younger self could fix his mistakes? Since MF is YX, would that mean that MX can time travel? Man, Xehanort is ending up like sora, the number of Xs and Soras.

One(the BBS one) is just a flat face while the KH3D one is a finished face.

Same bangs..same hair..same skin tone..same eyes...you know..same person.

Those of you thinking that the BBS model is a different person from the KH3D guy(YMX) are trying too hard.

No one ever really said they were 2 different people, we said that he isn't the product of Xemnas and Ansem SOD. Who knows, the flat faced version could just be his normal clothes when he isn't wearing the cloak for all we know.

Because at the time of BBS, he didn't have that power. Just because YX is MF doesn't mean that Xehanort has always had the power. In the case of BBS, we faced 2 Xehanorts (more in FM) from two different time periods. YX didn't go all the way back in time, grow old, and then return to the time of BBS, no.

It is simple.

Young Xehanort is Mysterious Figure.

Master Xehanort is old and is not.

Young Xehanort traveled through time to stop TAV, and failed. He returns to the present.

Master Xehanort is still old and still not the Mysterious Figure.

For all intents and purposes, two separate entities.

Except that they're both Xehanort (which is what I think you're getting hung up on, SoRoXion)

Err...trying to slash them apart with his "rape-rope", dropping a freaking Meteor on them, shooting Tornados, rushing them with Raging Storm etc. etc.

He was the second secret boss after Vanitas's Remnant, y'know.

Oooh, that explains things. Yeah, I didn't play as much of BBS as I could've because the story was being dragged too much for me by the time I finished Aqua's story.

Nomura: He is the mysterious man who appeared in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix as a boss who manipulated time. Just who he is will be told in KH3D. Everywhere he goes, a few people of the darkness turn up, like how Vanitas came out in the trailer.

That's where the proof is.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't get how MF could possibly be YMX. Their powers are completely different, their weapons are completely different. The concept of YMX wanting to stop TAV makes no sense since they were a critical element to MX's plan.

Nomura only said that the dark skinned, gold-eyed, white-haired kid is MF. He never specified his actual identity. And there are enough look-alikes in this series for it to be completely plausible for him to be a completely separate character.

Ok, those pictures are actually similar. The other BBS YX pic going around looks nothing like the DDD guy (you know, the monkey face one).

Now I can say w/o a thought that it's Young Master Xehanort.

They have the same models in the game (the white haired kid and the guy we see in the beginning of BBS who is Xehanort), If I am correct, and their faces are similar (again with the models)

Hair styles are pretty much key when differentiating character to character in JRPG's and anime. Both of their hair styles are exactly the same as Zulkir pointed out. It's the same person, if not his Nobody.
