Once again, I need YOUR help! ;D (PSP)

So, I just found my PSP and i got a couple of questions from it after looking at the Lite. First of all, I got the PSP back when it first came out, so im gonna say that Its been missing for like 3 years? Ha ;D,My sister hid it from me, and said she was going to give it back once I asked for it I've known where its been for a couple of months now, but I barley got the urge to use it.

Since my PSP is one of the older versions, I've always heard that you can hack it and stuff, and that its actually better than the Lite. The only thing about the lite that interest me, is that the HD is doubled from 32 to 64. I was wonderin, is my PSP any good? I mean compared to the Lite that is. Is that the only thing it has over the Org PSP? Also, It has a 33% better lighting and what not. Basically, I'm asking if you can tell me what i can do what my PSP. What can the lite do that the one i have can't? Just right now, I hooked up to Wi Fi, and i cant use the unternet, Ha... :\ Im afraid of going to Network update, because it might change the version and it won't be possible to hack. So, do you guys have any ideas? Thanks in Advance!

Alrighty. First thing you should know is all PSP are the same. Except for the colors, ect...

Now, They have the same features. All you gotta do is Update your PSP. Which you'll need wireless around you.

And it's okay to have a older verson. But only promblem is you'll have a WAY old fire wall. Which means you'll have to update the PSP to get nice things.

Like, Skype, another Internet Search, And more!

I got the original black one and I was also thinking of getting the Lite but there are some things you got to know about the Lite.

-The Volume is weak.My friend said when he turns his Lite's Volume all the way up he still has to put it up to his ear.So get ready to buy earphones.

-I dont hack but I dought upgrading it will not let you hack but I dont know why you would want to hack.

-The UMD Storage is kinda weird unlike the Original that gives you a slot.

Its pretty much the same just smaller,lighter,and a couple new themes.So theres no real point in buying a new one.

Uhh, that is slightly off Darkslayer, there are several features and hardware modifications that are only present in the Slim PSP, such as the ability to use Skype, Video Output into HDTVs, certain custom themes, a USB battery charger, and better battery usage and loading times for games, etc.

Some of them are negligible feature, but it would be incorrect to say all PSPs are the same except for the colors.

Also, Zero, updating his PSP WOULD make it so that he could not longer hack, as if you update your PSP past the 1.5 firmware you cannot use homebrew applications and custom firmware without using a downgrade process

Lol, thanks Muffins, you cleared that mess out. I just checked my psp and its a 1.50 Version, so im assuming its hackable? Whats the point in getting it updated anyways? Are there some things I can't do? If I'm going to hack it, Network update is pretty much useless right? So Do I have to download a "internet" program to use it on my psp? Heh, sorry guys, I'm just completly lost when it comes to console info D: :|

For those of you who have hacked thier PSP or know any info, do ya think you could tell me what i could do to get all those games? I remember this guy i knew once had like Mario on his psp and stuff :\
