passion and sanctuary

i just noticed that the singer for sanctuary doesnt sound like the singer for passion. i kinds think passion is WAY better!!

No, they are the same person. Utada Hikaru. It may be because it's two different languages, but who knows. I sound different when I speak portuguese. And I like sanctuary better.

but if you listen to passion closely, in the chorus, she says two different things. i think there are 2 differnt choruses. but in sanctuary there is one. seriously, in passion she says two diffrnent things in the chorus. listen to it.

Passion has a lot more meaning to it. Heck, any song can have more meaning than Sanctuary. It's so void of unique lyrics... You can only go so far repeating the chorus over and over again... =_= Utada Hikaru should just stay with her Japanese songs. I know she speaks fluent English, that's not the problem. It's like she's trying to ad-lib the lyrics.

I actually like Sanctuary better than Passion, myself. I didnt like the song at all at first, but after a while it kind of grew on me.

Actually you add more 'a's.' But seriously, she's droning on... and at about the same time, recovering from her cold. That's a rather nasty combination. At least in Passion you get that nice "ahhh" sound.

Sanctuary is a very cool song. I haven't heard Passion, though... Sanctuary's kinda weird, but it sounds really good to me...
