(Likewise for you. I'll make a post later)

How amusing. Versato Gravemind...don't bother with any expression which reveal surprise, for they are unbecoming.

Gabriel's tone had an aristocratical tinge which had been placed there deliberately as to give Versato a certain 1st impression. Spoken after

The fires of war; how it's resplendence radiates among us all. Even the peaceful races possess it within their own hearts.

A booming laugh would follow as Gabriel found this game to be of much merriment/felicity. Yet Gabriel had not finished with Versato. With a compelling pitch, he would speak once more:

Now Versato Gravemind. Glance upon your disobeidient orb, for it is yours no longer.

If Versato had done as the Marshall had 'requested', he would have seen that it was the case, for the orb had not discharged. In fact, it was still there, but it was now utterly changed to match the complete domination of the Jewel of Naught, and, by extension, Gabriel. The orb had now become absolutely black to represent the color of the blade of which the special ability came from. After he would have observed this, Gabriel spoke once more. However, it would be the tone of mockery.

Again refrain from revelations which may be interpreted as astonishment. For the reason stated in a past sentence, it is improper. Yet, you must wonder...How is this possible? I shall answer it with one phrase: I know you.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It always hadbeen of a simple nature when the Marshall 1st entered combat with an opponent. The procedures were simple.

1. Analysis

2. Counter

3. Eliminate

The analysis stage began when his opponent introduced an ability. Gabriel would send his construct to bear the scrutiny of his adversary. The very 1st elements that were analyzed was always the being itself. If it had any special talents, Gabriel would automatically know of it due to the analyzation, especially if it were obvious. However, Versato's were not so. So, how would Gabriel know of these things? By attacking him, of course.

Those beams of light were not intended towards the goal of his destruction. They were a test to see what Versato was capable of. When Versato exploded/reformed, his true physical form had been revealed. There were other ways for Gabriel to counter this, but he chose the Jewel of Naught, for he wished to practice with it, as it's ways not being completely known to Gabriel for that time.

Gravemind's limp form had melted into the orb in an attempt to remove the Jewel would fail miserably. The answer to this conundrum was the Jewel of Naught's talent. The moment the ooze entered the orb to demolish the Jewel, it was consumed with utter completeness/speed. Despite his body's gift, it was nothing compared to this blade of Hell, for it did the exact same thing...no wait, it did much more.

It, like Versato's ooze, could utterly wreck whatever it was not part of. However, the rules were different as to how it were possible for it. At this time, however, it is unimportant as to what they are. If possible, it would be explained at a later time. In short, why it devoured it involved it's very reason for it's own composition: the Zensu Arts.

All things leave their mark. Whether it be of nature/of magic, a mark is left signifying it's work. It be the way of balance, which means The Zensu Arts would be no exception to this. The work that had been performed would be undone the moment that the ooze would encounter the Jewel when it's special ability was active. When this had occured, it was doomed. The Mancer's escape from that body was what had prevented anhillation.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now to return to the present time, the orb hovered ominously in the same location as before, awaiting the orders of the Grand Marshall Gabriel. It would not be long before Gabriel would speak once more:

Now it is time to show you...

While speaking, the orb had finally begun to move, soaring towards the sky. While doing so, it began to flatten into a plate shape. Eventually, it had done what he had ordered while positioning itself above the Mancer's form. Yet, it had not finished it's changing. Now, it was turning into another shape entirely: a cloud. With this, Gabriel chuckled/appeared some distance from Versato. He would communicate with Versato, but it would within his thoughts a certain childish rhyme.

It's raining, it's pouring, and I can't stop snoring.

Accompanied by a laugh, Gabriel vanished again, but not before snapping his fingers.

The cloud which was once an orb began to pour down upon Versato. This 'storm' was raining the Jewel upon Gravemind. The 'drops' would begin to eat away upon Versato, but, unlike the earlier consumption, this wouldn't be instantaneous. The droplets were small, so they would instead eat away at the Zensu imprint slowly. If Versato attempted to escape, it would stop it's rain/seek him out.

While this was being done, more vampires were manifesting, but that would not be long as the shadows in which the Jewel had originally passed through consumed them, fufilling Gabriel's will on the deal in which he still knew nothing about.

The laughing he had started and stopped, off and on again had stopped completely. His challenger had finally spoke, and these words were not empty, there was much to these words. The soft, yet strong words struck Versato with discomfort as he realized what had happened.

These words stuck to his mind like glue, but it was the last speaking that really grasped his attention. Versato had then softly repeated the last piece of it.

"I know you."

The events that had been taking place in this city, which was now a wasteland had flashed before his very eyes, revealing every little mistake he had made, every little weakness or thing about him that revealed something critical about him. His mind had a revealation, and this would become a huge change and turning point in this battle. Things were going to be a bit different.

[Right about now "Teahouse of Spirits" by 'The Panic Channel would kick on lol]

The laughing had stopped abruptly and his gaze drew a serious and collective look. He rotated slowly to catch the orb that he originally believed to be vanquished once and for all, but once again he'd been foolish. The ooze of his previous body had now merged with the Jewel, they were one now. He was ready to begin dashing away, for he had no idea what would happen when these two substances were to meet. They both devoured whatever had not belonged to them, so when two substances with the same effect were to meet it could create catastrophe or even something of a paradox.

Nothing happened, no explosion, no end of existance and whatnot. They seemed to simply merge together with no negative effect. It was phenomena to him. This simple void had now become an orb of devouring material, and his challenger had now took possesion over it, distorting it into a cloud shape as to rain the material down upon him, the creatures and the city. This is where Versato would attempt to return to his normal ways of battle which he had not shown at all so far. This entire battle he had made mistakes, but now it seemed that his opponent had made a slight mistake or just overlooked it.

The Jewel that belonged to his opponent was a blade, a weapon, a tool, whatever one could call it. While the ooze that merged with it was more than some tool, it was a part of him. The drops began to spiral downward toward him, hoping to destroy Versato. This is where the overlooking had took place, Versato had just as much control over the orb as his opponent did. He controlled the Jewel while Versato controlled the ooze, the material that composed him. Though they could both control this orb, it was deadly to the both of them. The material would devour his opponent just as quickly as it would devoure him.

As he brought his palm upward to face the heavens, the droplets halted in mid-air. His hand was then brought downward slightly and pushed upward as if he were physically pushing the droplets back into the cloud. Versato had also realized that there wasn't much to fear of these droplets either, because they originated from the void, the void was not apart of the realm these two resided in, they were only visible in the realm. The cloud floated toward him, now positioned directly in front of him.

The cloud became an orb once more, but it wouldn't be here much longer. The fact that this was a void seemed to be forgotten, and getting rid of such a thing would be easy. Though it was not exactly a void, it was quite similar, if this void were to be closed, to not be a realm of blank space not of this realm, then it would be no more. The orb opened slightly and something seemed to leak in, or by the orb's actions, out. The orb shrunk until there was no space remaining, this realm would become null and officially be gone. It had taken the Jewel and the ooze remains with it, out of existance. He had created this orb originally, he created it, and he could destroy it.

As for his opponent, he had vanished. Versato was unaware to where he had gone. He had an idea of what to use against his opponent now though, for he had already revealed something as well. As the smoke slayed away a batch of vampires, the rule worried him no longer. It would turn to be permanently as well. The mysterious 'host' of this event stepped from the shadows to speak.

"I like where this has gone now, the rule has been lifted, as long as you continue to entertain me, of course."

Versato didn't laugh, nor did he chuckle, the serious expression had been maintained. Even as his fingers touched his head, it stayed. A smoke rose from his fingers on to his head and in an instant, Versato was gone.

He was back again, this time, near his opponent, wherever that was. He thought about speaking, but he didn't. Time was his new partner, his new weapon, back when this place was a city, his opponent would not get anywhere near the scene when he had the time loop in effect, perhaps this was an advantage, he wasn't sure.

Suddenly.

A time warp had been thrust upon his opponent, hoping to age him into nothing. He couldn't tell if this was the true opponent, and if it wasn't, then he'd have to change his methods and attack the essence of his being, so that no amount of clones would decide the matter, he would die regardless. That would come soon. The warp was thrust, unable to be seen by this man.

OoC: Heh, we'll probably be discussing this in the chat.

Gabriel had taken the time to continue observing his opponent from a distance, with his eagle eyes continuing to analyze Versato for any more potential abilities.Since he had transformed the orb into a cloud, he had waited/watched how the Mancer would react. However, Gabriel would remain with a joyous glint within those eyes when Versato began to attempt to manipulate the orb. Seeing a rare opportunity presenting itself was truly a wonderous occasion.

Versato believed that his ooze had become one with the jewel. It would be unfortunate for him since that was not the case. It seemed that way, but it was not to be. True that they had the same ability, but there was a slight difference in it; the Jewel could do more than just consume physical objects. As mentioned at an earlier time, all things leave their own imprints. For example, consider the spell Haste. It allows whomever it was cast on to become quicker than his norm. The imprints left there would be temporary, for Haste did not last too long unless a certain item allows it to be so. However, those imprints could be removed with the spell Dispell. Now, to correlate this to the present situation, the ooze would be the Haste/the Jewel would be the Dispell. The imprint left behind which allowed Versato's very composition to exist, when it had encountered the Jewel, was 'cancelled' i.e... consumed by the Jewel. The ooze lacked even the opportunity to return to flesh before it joined what it had been bound to in it's lifetime.

However, Versato believed that his ooze had been joined with the Jewel, and Gabriel was fine with that. The potential victory would only be more the sweeter with this deception. So, in Gabrielesque fashion, the rand Marshall flicked off his hood, revealing his facial features for the 1st time. It would also signify a sort of increase in seriousness, at least when it came to the strength he had been suppressing up to that point. Even now, he was still suppressing more of his own power. Even though more of his own strength would be released, he would still treat Versato in the same manner as before.

As Versato was attempting to extend his will upon the orb, the Marshall was playing a game with himself by toying with the orb as it seemed to struggle between the two men. This was not without purpose, since this would force Versato to extend more of himself to dismiss the orb while Gabriel remained at the same amount of his own willpower to deliberately fool the Mancer. Gabriel waited patiently as he kept this game up. He could keep this up for quite some time.

A game of oneupmanship had begun with the orb. Even though control of the orb was one-sided, Versato was still attempting to impose his own dominion over it. This would be played to his advantage as he kept toying with the orb. When it seemed to stagnate, Versato would unwittingly play into Gabriel's hands as he would be forced to extend more of his will to dominate the orb, even though he had no control in the 1st place. This would be repeated until the orb was banished. However, Versato would be defenseless since his will would have been forced to it's utter limits.

*Flashback*

Lifeless terrain was the order of the day. The locale was a forest barren of it's leaves, for it was the time of winter. Though the leaves had taken their fall during the autumn, the trunks themselves proved to be very dense. However, the sounds of combat could be heard within the cold embrace. Within the confines of the forest, a skirmish had been taking place for quite some time. Those whom the civilized world would call 'barbarians' had been hemmed together into the middle of the field making a last stand against whom they would call 'the invicible ones'

It had begun after the return of a war party against the invaders from the South. While the celebration was commencing, a rain of arrows fell upon them in a surprise attack. No woman or child was miraculously hurt, especially when those arrows which would have killed them instead veered towards the nearest man. Those that survived gathered their weapons/prepared to meet the adversary.

Unfortunate for the Tribe that they were completely outmatched, despite their own competency in combat. The lack of strategy had been one of the main reasons that they were falling like flies. However, there was another reason: They could not kill them. They appeared human enough, but their blows never seemed to connect. Those that missed were automatically stricken down. Only the War-Chief, with his divine weapon, ended their miserable lives.

However, the War-Chief had been seaerated from the rest by another who held a divine blade; the boy in red. Now, as the warriors truly glimpsed upon their foes, their hearts turned to dust. Their adversaries appeared human, but much of them had been covered in a metal casing, leaving only little evidence in their human natures. Those with more casing looked more deformed that those with less. Within the entire group, only one appeared almost human, a young girl who only wore metal bracers. As they took aim, a sudden scream pierced the air; it was the War-Chief.

The conditions had been met for this manuever. His will would be extended long enough to leave the right opening. Thus, when the orb had finally dissapeared, all of his willpower that had been gathered to play with Gravemind, he sent all of that upon the Mancer himself.

It would be a simple affair. The moment that his will was imposed upon the Mancer directly, the pressure would begin immediately. Under normal circumstances, Versato could shrug this off, but he would have used much of his will in attempting to close the orb. Thus, whatever will power remained would be focused upon attempting to break Gabriel's attempt at what would be termed possession. Gabriel squeezed tightly, so Versato would be busy for a while, if he managed to succeed. If not, then Gabriel could head to Stage 2.

The orb, and the jewel had been banished from existance, finally. Versato was intently focused on performing the action of said banishment, so it of course caught him off guard when a possesive pressure seem to squeeze tightly upon him. His willpower had been drained in his efforts to banish the orb, for the moment, his opponent had seized this opportunity, when Versato became vulnerable. The grip intensified, now is the time he shall either escape, or perish. He had the intention of escape in mind.

This pressure, this attempt at possesion as it would seem, could not last if he was no loner there, no longer able to have the power focused upon him. Despite his recent loss of willpower for the brief moment that had been seized, there was still a way for him to perform great feats with little effort. A thought took little effort or willpower at all, one simple thought, and he had vanished. He was no longer there, no longer able to be focused upon by his opponent who had grown rather annoying as of lately.

Now it was his turn to return the favor, in a way. He was now to the back of his opponent, before his opponent could begin to turn around or take notice, he would strike. His opponent had been left just as vulnerable, his willpower had been devoted to his possesion 'attack', and he'd have barely enough to turn around and take notice, let alone counter in such a quick time. A small hole opened as Versato's arm thrusted forth.

Pressure built, time sped up, and the winds accelerated madly within the area. All that was required was thought and power, and now, Versato had crafted his very own small scale 'blach hole' esque assault. The wind, the pressure, a force, and even the hole, all would almost instantly pull him in and wipe away every last particle of this opponent. This was not to be confused with a black hole, because they are only similar by means of purpose in this situation, however, their properties are very different.

If his opponent was to move more than even a single pace or so, the process would accelerate, and he would die. He could not stay still, of course, he would be ripped into this hole. He could escape, but if he did, matters would only worsen. His own plan had been crafted, as time sped forth on the outsides of this hole, he smirked, his opponent had forgotten something, and it was he that made the biggest mistake by doing so.

OoC: Short, and crappy, but it serves it's purpose. I would've put more into it, but I don't have much time, for a certain reason.

Gabriel continued to stare upon Versato with some intent. Yet, he was not fully focused upon him, for, though he would not look, and, in reality, had no need to, for he knew which summons belonged where, he unfastened the locket which freed one of them to do his bidding. Yet, when he had done so, Versato had vanished. The Grand Marshall would prove to be charmed at this attempt to escape his will. So charmed, in fact, that when Versato had chosen to reappear, he would find himself once more attempting to fight off Gabriel's eventual domination, which proved now to be almost inevitable.

The Marshall glanced behind him towards the Mancer, that amused glint showing in his eyes. Perhaps Versato would wonder at his continued uselessness since he would not be able to understand why he could not continue any assaults. Gabriel would not explain just yet, instead preferring to move further away. Though it would somewhat ease the pressure, he moved far enough away to keep it at a strong enough pace. At the same time, a flash came from his hand, allowing the Royal Dawn to take the stage. Just as quickly, Gabriel would disarm himself by stabbing it into the ground. Still, this would not prove a fruitless exercise

A circle had formed around the area which both Gabriel/Verto had been standing. it's glow was one of a green coloring, which the Royal Dawn had been pulsating. Gabriel, after he had moved from the borders of the circle, turned to face Versato, revealing his facial features at that certain moment. A psychotic grin was plastered all over his face, for a reverse adorning had taken place. The obvious sympton: his light blue eye had darkened into the same color as his other eye, though Versato would not be aware of this. Now, Gabriel would begin speaking, though the aristocratical tinge had been abandoned in favor of a more rude tone:

"So you finally decided to show up eh? It's too late though. I know you way too much now for you to beat me. In fact, I know you so well that the same trick won't work twice."

Gabriel's boast was not without it's merits. Since the battle had continued, Versato had revealed more of his abilities. Gabriel had, as expected, analyzed them. With this, his Mancery, Composition, and Zensu Arts had been analyzed. In this manner, Gabriel had created the correct strategy to deal with his talented adversary. This was one of them; this one being designed to guarantee that he would not be able to escape the same way again. Before Gabriel continued his speech, a second more wider circle had developed. This one would be the normal golden color. Gabriel continued his monologue now, though it would be within Versato's own mind.

"How does it feel to be a rat? Quite the unenjoyable experience no? It was a satisfactory attempt, attempting to escape my grasp by vanishing altogether. Perhaps you believed that I would be unable to maintain my will. Oh how wrong you were, Versato Gravemind. Though you had faded , it does not mean I could not trace you. This battle had gone on long enough for me to do so.

It was at this time that Gabriel had begun to hover into the air. With this, Gabriel's monologue continued:

"From the moment you had begun picking a fight, I took the time to test you, to see what you were 'capable' of. It seems that, for all of your reputation, you're naught but a rat trapped in a cage. The substance that is your composition is energy-like in nature. Thus, it was not that difficult to change the frequency of my halos to capture you. You will find any kind of movement impossible. Even the dissapearing trick that you had performed is now lost to you.

Laughter interrupted the monologue as Gabriel was showing his insanity. More memories would be brought up from that night...

The barbarian warriors had retreated to where the screams had come from, and they would be horrified. Their war-chief, who fought as the demons did, was wounding himself repeatedly with his own weapon. He had entered some sort of state mentally. His warriors, who would have gladly fought to the death with their leader, were terrified of him now. Those who had once warred with great fury had lost their will to continue at this sight. Thus, they fleed with utter abandonment of their war-chief's predicament. After some time of this event, the war-chief finally collapsed with blood loss."

Gabriel stared down upon Versato before finishing the last part of his monologue.

You must be wondering though...Why the 2nd Halo? That is also a simple answer. This is for the rest of your abilities. They are also now useless, for they wil never pass the 2nd Halo. Now you have one opportunity: Surrender/be crushed."

Gabriel would await his answer.

OoC: This post will be short and simple. I've explained to you in the chat what is going to happen now.

IC

Versato had begun to think that he was doing a 'good job', he was finally getting back into this, and had countered with something slightly clever. His opponent however, was stubborn and the most skilled he'd ever encountered, by far. Versato's efforts were for naught as the possesive grip attempted to envelop him once again.

He tried to fight it off, and then he decided to try and vanish again and try something different, but suddnely a weapon had been revealed. It wedged into the ground and crafted a halo around his location, later forming another. This begun to worry him, time slowed to an almost stop, as it did when harm was heading his way. These halos were much more than they appeared, they served as energy catchers, something that could serve to be deadly to Versato, seeing as how the black substance that he wa composed of was an energy-like matter.

His movement was beginning to become limited, and panic was being caused throughout Versato's entire being. The Zansu art and his Mancery skills had now become nullified. If it wasn't for his clever and powerful thoughts, he would have perished. He was quick and sly though, all it would take were simple thoughts, and a bit of concentration, but no energy.

His eyelashes batted slowly as time returned to it's original state, he had altered things a bit with his thoughts through affection. He changed the location of where the halos had formed by nudging them over a bit. The halo no longer plagued him; his movement and powers returned.

Suddenly.

The mysterious figure swooped down on to the wasteland to announce something. He spoke as grim as he had been speaking the entire time Versato had been in contact with him.

"You two, are very skilled and valuable. Rather than have you two kill each other in this tournament, I will simply pass a judgement upon this battle and declare a winner. Neither of you will be actually 'beaten', as a result though. I will return shortly."

His long cape cascaded over his midnight armor and he was gone. Now tired and extremely glad that this battle would finally reach a conclusion without a death, he fell to the ground to lay, still keeping his jade gaze upon his opponent though. Things would certainly become uncomfortable now that they both must simply remain within each other's prescence after they had both attempted to end each other's life.

One last thing.

A small orb formed at the tip of Versato's nose, it would serve as the thing to clear things up, as the battle was over. This orb represented one of his emotions, most likely apathy. The smoke that lingered around, the corpses of the deadly creatures, the halos, and all the damage done to the city vanished, everything seemed grey now, though. The city was back to it's original stae, only now it maintained a feeling of depression and seemed to fill one with an abysmal feeling.

Versato, still uncomfortable, uttered the last words of this conflict.

"I don't care who wins, no matter what, you were certainly a challenge, I commend you"

As he finished, the mysterious figure appeared once more.

OoC: I'll be contacting D2L, cyberseraph, and Dawning Kensei with requests of teir judgement upon this battle. No matter what the result, it was a good battle KHF.

Gabriel observed Versato's panic begin to flow through him as a rapid river flowed downstream. Again, this would have played to his advantage as panic usually meant loss of control. Yet, it seemed that this would not be, for Versato seemed to have calmed down somewhat, long enough to use another ability of his; one Gabriel did not expect.

It was almost instantaneous, but Gabriel managed to barely detect his halos being nudged. This was deserving of applause, for Versato was proving to be a tenacious opponent.

Rolling papers...
A whistle could be heard on thhe wind inside the realm the two warriors had been fighting in. Most of the time when one heard a whistle on the wind it sounded appropriately, but this one was different. This specific whistle sounded more like the whistle of a human, a man, to the point that it was almost eerie. The wind blew in a slow, easy breeze past the warriors; it was still whistling the whole way. And then, a voice came with it.

"Judgement..."

The voice, although in a whisper, was obviously masculant, deep, and strong. It may have been familiar to the two warriors, it may not ave been. It all depended on their knowledge of gods. The wind began to pick up speed, and the whistling became louder and louderr with it. Clouds of dust began to be picked up off the ground by the wind, hampering the vision of both the fighters to a degree. The voice was then heard again, only this time it spoke normally, making so that if they did know it they would surely recognize who it was that spoke to them.

"Judgement..."

The wind finally reached it's predestined speed, and dark clouds began to form over head. The boom of thunder and the cackle of lighting could be seen and heard up in the sky, and a great torrent of wind came spiraling down out of the clouds about 100 yards away from te warriors. The tornado began to slowly move towards them, massive amounts dust and pieces of the ground floating around inside of it making it impossible to see inside. There was something inside this extraordinary tornado, and as it inched it's way towards them it's silhouette could be viewed.

It was a man, though who the man was could not been seen. His body was completely shrouded in shadow, and the only specific detail about him that was able to be seen was his emerald green eyes. He walked slightly hunched over, leaning towards the front, and a cloak could be seen blowing in the wind to his right. His hair was all over the place as well, the strong winds inside the tornado blowing them this way and that. At this point he was a mere 5 yards away and he stopped his march, standing upright and looking at the warriors. Hhe began to rise into the air, his arms crossed in front of his chest.

In an instant thousands of swords exploded from within the tornado, soaring downwards towards the warriors like a flock of birds. Half of them went for Gabriel, half for Versato, viciously attacking the warriors. Magic would be of no use to this weapons, as it was debatable whether or not they were even really there. Real or no, they would indeed dice the warriors to ribbions it they didn't defend themselves.

This went on for several minutes before all of sudden they just stopped, dead in their tracks. Floating back from the warriors, the two sets of swords then flew at eachother, the bottom of the handle of each sword connecting wit the bottom of the handle of another. As they linked together they formed a sphere, and began to spin in unison. As they spun a light built up inside the sphere, which the man from before seemed to be at the epicenter of; thhe tornado had long since vanished. Curling into the feedle position and then snapping out of it, the light and the swords followed his lead and exploded in all directions; blinding anyone in the area for several seconds.

Once the dust cleared and the light faded, only on thing remained. A pillar of blue light seemed to be coming down from out of the sky, and inside the pillar, at about eye level for Gabriel and Versato. There were two other pillars beside it, forming a line, though they were vacant. The sword was slowly rotating, and if one look close enough they'd be able to see that there was a word engraved into the blade. One. Single. Word.

Versato.

So, the Triumvirate had been called. That hadn't happened in quite some time; there must be a battle going on, and a powerful one at that. Calling the Triumvirate was dangerous; messing with the old gods could never be safe, no matter what precautions were taken. But oddly enough, the one that had called them seemed strong, stronger than those that had been foolish enough to call before...this one seemed to be their equal...no, their better. But how could this be? The old gods were the first, and the last, and all that came between.

Speaking of the last...Exodus was transported to the battle site, and what he saw was astounding. Gabriel himself, and another creature... the landscape was totally ruined around them. What had once been towers was now rubble, and roadshad been turned into deep crevices. Even the od plants around were gone; these two obviously had no respect for nature. This did not go over well with Exodus; not well at all. But even more interesting was the fact that there was already another one of the old gods there, passing judgement. Exodus had expected to be first; foolish, in hindsight.

As the wind whirled around him, Exodus peered into the past. He watched the battle in detail, and relived several parts of them through each combatant's eyes. This took place in an instant, and Exodus immediately knew all that he needed to pass judgement. There was no obvious choice, but there was one that was exclusive, and the only correct choice. Neither of the combatants would be happy, but there was a choice to be made. With a wave of his hand, the time began to resume its normal pace, and the timeline would be righted, removing any impact these two would have had on this world's fate.

After that, a golden circle appeared on the ground beneath the two combatants' feet. As the circle spun, the winner would be made obvious. With a speed rivaling that of light, the circle made exactly 666 revolutions before it stopped. When it did, Versato was standing there bathed in golden light, and Gabriel was thrown into shadow. This clearly showed that Versato was the winner here, and there was no real need to explain why. All of Gabriel's attacks were deflected easily, and that was no mean feat. A being that had been around as long as Gabriel should have known better.

Drawing his copper colored robes closer to his body, Exodus went back to the realm he had been called from. A place where the old gods were still kings, and where there would be no nuisances.

Majority rules, of course. Very interesting and challenging battle KHF. As soon as the judgement is finished with DK/Cyber's battle, I will make the thread for the third round. I must ask that nobody else do so before I do because new rules will be set for this round.

My apologies, if my post came off as harsh. I was writing like one of the old gods should, or at least how I thought they should.

I meant nothing untoward.
