Looks beautiful and there you go pretty much confirms at this point exactly what Nomura said, this is the best order to experience it and if they wanted to it be the other way Days would of been put after KH2. Roxas's opening is just narratively so much better with Days than without. Because Days doesn't actually show the transition rather deliberately the last thing you see is Roxas running through twilight town meeting up friends for a possible beach trip, an immediate cut from Roxas laying on the ground beaten up and crying for his lost life. The mystery of the start is still very much intact and the only real difference is instead of the narrative introducing and spending several hours having you get to know characters that will all almost inexplicably be dropped from the plot for 90% of the game. Now the narrative is just having you watch the final sad week and giving various conclusions/semi-conclusions to tales you've been watch unfold for an entire other game.
Not saying there is anything wrong with release order just that release order was ultimately a failed experiment that does more to sour the overall experience KH2's narrative can offer.
The debate continues.......
The Roxas prologue is self explanatory. It treats him like it's the first time you've seen the character, building off his brief appearance at the end of COM.
KH2 treats organization XIII like it's the first time you've seen them. They've got their hoods up, there's not as much development for them as there was in Days and it spoils anything that was meant or intended to be a surprise in KH2. I've tried the Days before KH2 experiment and anything that involved organization XIII comes across as weird because KH2 is intended to be the first time you see them.
Final trump card. Days has scenes of KH2 in its opening.
Lol no it should totally not. This is fine, though I favor KH2>Days over the other way around.this really should be in chronological order of time line. :frown:
but I like the simple menu
IDK maybe actually bringing the games up to actually be 1080/4K instead of 720p lol
