Sinnoh Region,
Hopefully I'll make some new friends other than Rei. Renn thought as he boarded his father's boat. His dad was a sailor bound for the Johto region. At his side was a seemingly cute girl in blue and black and beautiful red eyes. In fact that was Renn's only friend and his only pokemon, Riolu, her name was Rei. His father reved up the engine and took off to the sea outside. Renn and Rei sat on the side of the boat, just looking at each other... but Rei always blushed when he did.
"Hey! Boy! We're in Goldenrod now! Now you're on your own."
Renn and Rei walked off and Renn slung his shoulder bag over his shoulder.

"You know, I'm still not comfortable with you and Muffy battling."
"Why? We're just as able as you and Umbria!"
"It's dangerous. And we might get seperated."
"Oh, don't be a worry-wart. Afterall, it's not like we'll always be together."
Just outside of Goldenrod city sat two raven-haired teenagers, sitting on the edge of the land with their feet in the vast ocean. The girl, almost a mirror image of the boy, has long hair and wore a red and white kimono. The boy, almost a mirror image of the girl, had short, spikey hair and wore what appeared to be but wasn't necessarily a black school uniform.
Just a little down the dirt, a very young pink-haired girl with strange cone-like ears and tail protruding from her body layed in the grass. She wasn't asleep, but soaking up the sunshine happily. With one hand, she flicked the salty water subconciously and with the other she pet a small Umbreon (Umbria) that layed on her stomach, curled in a ball. She appeared to be sleeping, but the pink-haired girl (a flaaffy in her human form: Muffy) couldn't tell.
The female teenager in the kimono, Nina, kicked at the water in frusteration. In her hand was her brother's fishing rod. They decided to take a break from all their traveling and came back home for a little while. But, being the restless pair they were, they were still training even during rest. It's been hours since even a nibble crossed the line.
"Agh, let's just give this up," Suggested the boy, Vincent, with a large sigh.
"Poopie. Fishing is so hard," Whined Nina, pouting like a little girl.
They packed it up and headed for the Pokemon Centre to refresh their Pokemon, from there it was anybody's guess.
Refreshed and renewed, Muffy and Umbria reverted to their human forms after being released from their Pokeballs. Umbria was slender and about the height of an average 16-year-old human, clad in a black kimono with golden sleeves and obi. She also has a crown of gold that was in the shape of an "o".
"Where to now?" Questioned Nina to her brother, the four of them standing under the shade of the monorail overpass to hide from the blistering heat.
"Dunno," Vincent admitted, wiping his forehead with exhaustion.
Bored out of her mind, Muffy quietly slipped away from the three of them and went exploring in the familiar city. She arrived at the dock in time to watch a couple ships sail off and a few small boats come in. Every boat had at least one Pokemon in it, whether visible or inside, human form or creature form. Pokemon had a way of sensing other Pokemon nearby. She smiled perkily to the passersby as they came onto the city streets, but nobody seemed to care.
"Why? We're just as able as you and Umbria!"
"It's dangerous. And we might get seperated."

Golenrod - Johto Region
Ryan walked through the town appearing calm, though he felt anxious. He wanted very much to battle the gym leader by then, but he had gotten up later than he planned. He was also excited about finally leaving his hometown, and becoming as strong a pokemon trainer as he could while on his adventure. He glanced back at his Houndour in human form. He also seemed anxios about the battle, but also seemed to feel confident about the adventure and gym battle. We'll be able to see a lot of new people and places. I'll be able to catch a variety of pokemon to train. His thoughts raced as he walked through town, barely aware of his surroundings. When he stood in front of the gym, he stared begginning to feel as though he didn't stand a chance, and would lose in one hit.

In the midst of chaos and despair, all hope seems lost ..but, when the mighty Jolteon leaps into action, nothing is lost! Jolt was pleased with his scurrying around the Goldenrod area, eager to find some adventure or something interesting. So far, nothing had caught his eye, and no Pokemon were around to fool with. Sometimes he was lonely, but at least in his imagination, things seemed a lot of fun. His sleek fur shone against the unrelenting sun, and he was not as hot as others. Strolling all the way from Mahogany without much trouble, he hoped a crowded place like Goldenrod would bring some excitement. As he moved closer to the harbor, he witnessed a boat with passengers and Pokemon leaving from it. New arrivals.
Cool! Maybe I'll meet some interesting people! quickly scurrying in a nearby alleyway, a light engulfed him and formed the shape of a human. When the light broke, he was transformed into a blond young man who had a strange taste for yellow. Making sure his ears and tail disappeared, he walked out of the alleyway and went out again to look at the new arrivals from a new perspective. ..Lets see..Pidgey..Raticate..Butterfree..oh, a Poliwhirl! he went over in his head, seeing all the new Kanto Pokemon making a home here for the time being.
While checking the crowds, pink hair took his attention, and a girl that was a bit younger than him seemed to be eying the Pokemon rather closely. Narrowing his eyes at her back, he began to notice the cone-like ears...and the tail!? Huh ..why am I so surprised? I'm not the only one that can transform..still, she makes it sort of obvious. for now he stood and stared with her, watching the new arrivals before something interesting came up.

As the sun set, two friends raced through the forest, eager to put in their nightly training session near the Bell Tower. Thrain, a 15 year-old boy, raced ahead of his Pokemon Gible, now in human form. He stuck his tongue out and jumped over a dip in the trail.
"Come on Gible. I know you can do better than that," Thrain mocked.
She snorted shortly, a mere puff of air. "We'll see about that."
Gible's legs pumped faster. Soon, Thrain and his companion were a few inches away from each other. They both willed their legs faster. A few twists and turns later, Eucreteak City appeared, in all of its splendor and grandeur. And there was their finish line, the tree that stuck out at an odd angle from all of the rest that surrounded the city. Thrain glanced over. Gible was just a few millimeters away. Her eyes were set, determined to win. Thrain slowed, and let Gible race ahead and touch the tree.
"Nice job!" he called.
"Why'd you stop?" she asked.
"Oh. I realized that I wouldn't be able to win," he explained. "Whenever you get that look in your eye, I know that nothing can stop you. Even if I had kept going, you would have won. It was your strong determination that made me stop."
Gible smiled, apparently happy with the praise.
"Tomorrow we fight the gym leader, Morty. Are you ready?"
"You know I am!"
"Come on Gible. I know you can do better than that," Thrain mocked.

"Yahooo!!" Stepping out of the Goldenrod gym with a widespread grin, Capell held a small shiny badge in his palm. "We did it Abcella! Our first gym badge!" He leaned down to pat a dog like Pokemon with a white coat, it's curved horn had a few visible cuts on it." As Capell ruffled the Absol's head it looked up at him weakly and gave a low whine. "Oh, that's right! We need to get you to a Pokemon center!" Reaching into his belt he took out a pokeball. "Yeah, I know you don't like being in these but it's the best way to get you there." A red beam shot from the ball, transporting Abcella into the confines of the sphere. Rushing with the ball in his hand Capell ran to the only Pokemon centre in the city. A few minutes later he exited the centre and let Abcella out. "Oh, back in your human form huh?" The dark skinned girl nodded her head.
"Well, Its been a while since we took it easy, how about we just relax?" With another affirmative nod Abcella followed right behind him. Walking the streets he put his hands behind his head and took in the scenery. "Man, this city never sleeps does it?" People could be seen hustling through the wide streets. Mixed in with the crowd Capell spotted a pink blur of a person, it seemed to be mixed in with a yellow one as well. Getting closer he noticed the Pokemon like features of the pink person. "A Pokemon?" Taking out his pokedex he scanned the Pokemon, after a few beeps a picture of a Jolteon popped up. "Huh? That's strange, this cant be right.." He shrugged his shoulders and put the device back into his bag. "Hey Abcella, wanna talk to them? You should make some new friends." Walking closer Abcella grabbed Capell's arm and tried to hid behind him. "Whats wrong Abby?" "I...Don't know.. what to do.." She said, in a shy quiet voice. "It's not that hard, you just go up and say hello for starters." "I.. I guess so..." "Go ahead!" Capell said jokingly, pushing Abcella towards the two in front of them. She suddenly got very nervous, she grabbed her crescent horn with her right hand, a anxious habit. "Uh, I.. He-Hello."

The next day.......
As the sun cleared the horizon, Thrain and Gible could be seen walking to the gym. Gible was taking slow, deliberate steps. She was very nervous. Her first gym battle would be the one that she would always remember. Thrain, noticing his best friend's discomfort, put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry. We'll be fine. All of this training will pay off. I know it." Thrain smiled, trying to push his confident emotions in to Gible. Her face remained unfazed; the same worried expression still painted across it.
"But, I might.... might.... mess up," she managed to get out.
"After all of this training? No, I have confidence in you. Don't worry; we'll be fine. I heard Morty has ghost type Pokemon. At least he doesn't have the advantage."
"We don't either though."
"True, but I just know you'll do great. You'd better change back in to your Pokemon form now. We're here." The gym came in to view. It loomed over them. Just then, the door opened, and a man with dark clothes rushed out. His blonde hair was spiked and curled over in the front. Sweat was curling down his face. "I'm so close," he screamed. He glanced around, noticing Thrain and Gible. "Are you two going to battle the gym leader?" Not waiting for an answer, he went on. "Sorry, but he's not here. He's investigating the Burned Tower at the moment. Apparently, he discovered something." The man rushed passed them, and shouted back, "Nice to meet you. My name's Eusine."

Yesterday
The adorable, and ever so small girl stood on the deck of the S.S. Aqua. She was so precious, so young, so clueless about the workings of a ship. She merely took in the vast ocean surrounding her. It was, after all her first birthday. One year of great life and fun. This was how she chose to celebrate it. A voyage on the S.S. Aqua, with her ever so protective mama.
Speaking of which, she hadn't seen her mother for a couple of minutes. She had gone to retrieve some sodas for the little girl and herself. Something that most, if not all people on the ship didn't know was that Teddi was actually a pokemon disguised, transformed- for lack of better terms- into a human. Many traits remained from her pokemon form however.
The boat shook slightly and ploop. There went Teddi over the ship. As she fell, for what seemed like several minutes, she saw her mothers wide-eyed expression. Fear usually made it more difficult for her to keep transformed. BothTeddi and her mother transformed. The latter still on the boat into a roaring Ursaring frightening the humans on the boat.
"Gotcha!" was the last thing Teddi heard and then she fainted.

Today
Running, running, pitter-patter, pitter-patter. Need to get away. Can't get caught. All this and more, some vulgar terms, ran through Kyura's head. She ran quickly through the large city of Goldenrod, her nine-tails dragging behind her. In hot pursuit were two grunts from Team Rocket. Behind them were a oddly oversized Muk, and a venomous looking Ariados. Kyura could not take all four of them on by herself.
She ran, panting as her pursuers grew closer. "Help!" She shouted out to any fellow pokemon but none came. She turned a corner and found herself at a dead end. She began to panic. "No!" She howled.

Teddi sat upon a large Dewgong. It was her saviour after falling off the ship. Apparently she had been watching the boat for sometime to make sure nobody fell off, so when Teddi did she was ready. Teddi had been crying because she wanted to be with her mama. Unfortunately the boat was in the distance by the time they tried to go back to it.
Dewgong came to a halt. "Here's your stop, hun." She said plopping the small Teddiursa onto the street of Goldenrod city from the water. "Keep safe dear, I hope you find your mama!"
Teddi was confused at what just happened. Dewgong just left her on the street with no words but goodbye. She plopped down onto her behind and began to cry.

A Jynx ..and a Scyther too, wow he looks intimidating! Ohh, and even a-- a stuttered sentence flew by his ears behind him, causing Jolt to immediately stop for a second.Someone approached him, and taking the time to look as awesome as could be, he slowly looked around and pointed blindly at the young, dark-skinned woman before him. "Well hello--..." he froze immediately, looking her over and swallowing a bit. The horn was a dead giveaway, a Pokemon, just like the girl in pink ..except this girl wasn't small, and nor was she childish. The body of a fully developed woman ..but the social skills of a Buneary. She was shy ..and with a look like hers, she was going to attract attention.
Lowering his finger, he turned back around, blushing slightly and putting his hands in his coat pockets. "..Uh..your look ..its pretty ..different. You're going to attract a lot of questionable people ..if you don't get something to wear." coughing a bit, he put a balled fist to his mouth and cleared his throat, finding it hard to put the right words to her.With those words given, a harsh cry came to his ears next, and he immediately tracked it towards the border of the harbor. Abcella was confused by what the young boy had said. "There's something wrong with the way I look?" She said in a worried voice. Before she could get an answer, the boy in yellow rushed off to a small girl. "Umm..." She was about to follow when she got a terrible feeling, or to be more precise felt the feelings of someone else. Whoever they were, they were frightened terribly. Abcella looked around frantically, searching for her trainer. "C-Capell! Where are you!?" Dodgeing his way through a small crowd Capell made his way to Abcella. He could tell she was upset by something. "What is it? I was just getting a few sodas, sorry." "This way!" She said, grabbing Capell's arm. She was pretty strong, so tyring to hold back wouldn't do much. "Wait! Where are we going!?" He yelled, as he was dragged along the streets, more than a few heads turned at the sight. After what seemed like hours to him they finally stopped. "Here." Abcella whispered, pressing herself against an ally corner. "Huh? Whats there?" Capell said, peeking around the corner. What he saw caught him off guard. Two men in black clothing with intimidating Pokemon at their command. In the back of the ally he could see a frightened Ninetails. "We have to help Capell..." Capell stood tall. "Agreed! Hit the Muk with a iron tail!" Nodding in acknowledgement Abcella charged the slimy Pokemon. Her black tail began to glow with a silver glow. Leaping into the air, she spun around and made contact with the Muk cutting it in two.

Brol walks along the edge of his brother's daycare center, which composed of a wide field with trees and a small manmade lake enclosed in a simple double wooden post. He walks down the fence as he takes inventory of the pokemon and the new eggs as he looks to his side to see "Blaze", his beginning pokemon chasing after a few pidgeys as Brol laughs. The guy pulls out his headphones as he clicks his pen and calls Blaze to come back with him into the house.
"Take your shoes off Brol..." Cado calls as he sits back down to the front of the daycare center as he tends back to the suspicious three men in black. "Sorry bout that my brother came back into the house and fo.." One black clothed man slams his fist into the counter," We don't care... Do we have a Dragonair yet?" He growls at Cado as he looks to his side to see a tall, red haired man glaring at him. "Cane... relax..." Cane grunts a bit as he crosses his arms, standing beside Cado as he scoffs and looks away. Cado teasingly punches Cane in the arm as he chuckles," Sorry Sir... You placed your Dratini here just yesterday... And it only leveled up a bit, it's actually rather quiet and lonely... It's going to take more time..."
Brol steps in and looks up at the group of men and shrugs as he places the inventory clipboard on the counter beside Cado and walks upstairs with Tor. "I'm gunna eat lunch really quick and check on that Riolu... Gunna take him out to see the city..." Cado looks up and smiles," Sure but not too long, That Riolu is not in any condition to be out more than a hour ok?" Brol becomes a bit silent as he slams the door upstairs as Cado shakes his head," Wel.." He looks around as the group of men disappeared. Cane growls viciously as he leaps over the counter and runs out the door. "ARCANINE!" Cado spots chansey and Nurse Joy escorting out a Bellsprout," Hey Nurse Joy please watch my daycare... Arcanine went after this weird group of people!" Nurse Joy nods as they enter the house and locks the door behind them.
"....A Riolu here?.... Tell the boss we found his missing Riolu... or rather a new one..." The Fake nurse Joy walks over the counter and leans on the counter,"....Tell me Ditto... how many pokemon do you think are here?..." Chansey turns back into ditto as it looks up and smiles. "Your right Ditto... plen..." She stops as she pulls Bellsprout and Ditto to the back wall as she spots Brol with Riolu in his arms and Tor behind him, walking out of the door, completely ignoring her. "Well...that was..." She stops and looks at the front door.
"Wait Tor... i gotta lock up the daycare...if my bro isn't here... and no one is around to watch it... i gotta lock the whole place up... remember? Team Rocket can easily walk in and take any pokemon!" The TR grunt smiles as she crosses her arms in a sense of pride. " It's a good thing Cado told me the password to activate the electric wall around the daycare as well as the security locks..." The grunt passes out as all the doors and windows lock up around her. She was trapped inside as Brol, Riolu and Tor walk unaware into the main section of Goldenrod City.

The sun shining down upon them, Joeseph and Sprout walked in the direction toward Goldenrod City, wanting to see all the pokemon and humans unloaded. His hands in his hoodie pockets, Joeseph smiled at Sprout. "Hey Sprout, you remember what today is, right?" He said, sure Sprout knew. "Oh no, your not bringing those little garden shears near me! My hair isn't even that long!" Sprout hated haircuts, the fact of something being cut off him scared him. "No, the other important day." Joeseph responded. "Ah, it's been 2 years already? Time sure goes by." Sprout said, his hands behind his green hair as he looked up at the sky, thinking of all their moments together. "I remember when we first met. It was raining outside and you were lost. You wandered into my parents garden and I brought you inside. We've been best friends ever since." Joeseph smiled. "Hey, I wasn't lost, I just love the smell of daisies." Sprout laughed. His stomach began to ache, hunger overcoming him. "Can we get something to eat soon? I don't think my stomach can wait much longer." Sprout said, holding his stomach. "Don't worry, Cherrygrove City should be just up ahead. We'll rest there for a bit and we can ride my bike after lunch. You'll just need to get in your pokeball though." Joeseph strategized a route for them to travel to Goldenrod in the least amount of time possible. "I hate being cramped in that thing, but if it gets us to Goldenrod quicker, then lunch can wait." He said, pointing his index finger in the direction they were to travel. "Alright, if you go back in your pokemon form, I'll get us there as quickly as possible." Sprout turned back into his Bulbasaur form and went into his pokeball, Joeseph stuffing it comfortably in his shirt pocket. He unfolded his mach bike and sped toward Goldenrod, arriving there in about two hours. "Wow, it sure is beautiful up here. Isn't that right Sprout?" He asked as he released him from his pokeball. Sprout nodded, agreeing with a short, "Bulba!" The only word he could say in his actual form. Joeseph folded up his bike and ran toward the city, people, places, and pokemon surrounding them all. Sprout transformed back into his human form and looked in awe around them. "Where is lunch?" He pouted, holding his stomach. "There should be a pokemon center around here." Joeseph pointed, a pokemon center miraculously appearing in front of them.

Lana looked across at Quil, he was sprawled across the ground of the market awaiting his reward after in his way of putting it “totally owning the gym” She paid for the lemonade and threw it onto his chest. He gasped looking up innocently.
“Come on, Quil, you lazy guts, let’s go for a walk...” she said with a sweet smile
“No, thanks” he said bored, making himself more comfortable rolling on the ground knocking over a large shelf of poke-balls
“Why not just send him into his ball” a civilian said with a little harsh tone
“No thanks” Lana said now pulling him out of the store and into the lift. By the time they got to the first level she manage to get him to walk out of the door and she pushed him to the main streets. Groaning and shaking her head
“Why cant you be like them Quil always doing what the trainer says?” she said rhetorically
“Because, the idea displeases me” now standing up drinking his lemonade “It’s flat”he said a matter of factly “Hey look a battle is going down” changing immediately into his poke form he charged straight at the battle
Lana followed “Go for the Aridos, EMBER!”
Quil’s flame grew as he began to burn the surroundings of the Aridos.
“Hit it with a tackle now, Quil!” he abided, if there was one thing that he did listen it was to her attack commands. Sending the Aridos flying she ran up to him giving him a quick cuddle then turning to the Grunts as Quil gave a threatening glare towards them.
Lana looked across at the trainer who had just fought of the giant muk and she gave him a smile followed by “Nice work” Quil’s attention not glancing away from the Grunt, there was one thought that flowed through his mind Come closer and you suffer

Teddi looked up at the boy surprised. If her mother were around he would be dead, unfortunately she wasn't, causing the little pokemon to cry more. She was after all only a year old. "I don't know!" She replied burying her face into the boys chest. She felt safe with him for some reason. Her form changed into her humanoid, girl form. "Don't leave me please!" She cried grabbing his shirt to bury her face deeper into it causing her voice to be muffled.

Kyura backed up against the wall and closed her eyes as the grunts shouted for their pokemon to attack. The moments that followed confused her greatly. Apparently some people or pokemon heard her cry for help and had come to her aid. An Absol took down the Muk and a Quilava got the Ariados.
This was all she needed. She could handle the two grunts. Opening her mouth a large stream of fire hit the grunts and sent them running. When they were gone, Kyura dropped to the ground, not injured but exhausted out of her mind.

Jolt whispered to Teddi, holding her closely and rubbing her back to show that he was more than willing to keep an eye on her, at least until he could locate her parents. But there wasn't a lead, or a clue as far as he was concerned. She was the only little bear around, unless her mother or father changed into humans. The humanoid form she changed with was making that seem a likely option.With little reason to remain there, he turned and walked around the harbor for a bit, waiting for someone to see the Teddiursa and claim her. "..How did you and your parents separate?" he inquired, keeping a close eye for any Ursaring around. This is going to get complicated ..and I bet Team Rocket had a part to play..

It wasn't until a Ninetails and a couple Pokemon ran by that she decided to blink and think about following. ..Trouble? she asked, stepping forward and following slowly. She could hear a skirmish from far off, and when she reached a corner, she saw a flaming bunch of fools run off. Mess with fire, and you got burned. Leaning by the corner, Flare took notice of the Ninetails fainting, and a couple Pokemon looking as though they just fought. Accomplices?

Thrain was very disappointed. He had been looking forward to the gym battle with Morty for weeks, and weeks. That mysterious character, Eusine, had said something about him being at the burned tower. We should head over there. See what's going on. Eusine had acted a little anxious.
After relaying his plan, to Gible, they set off, walking through the streets, and occasionally traveling down an alley. Eucreteak was a pretty big city. They wouldn't arrive at the Burned Tower for another few minutes.
Thrain glanced over at Gible. Her expression earlier had melted off her face; there was a smile pasted there now. "Why are you so happy?" Thrain asked.
"Not happy. Relieved. I was so nervous back there, I was about to burst."
"I'm telling you, you would have done fine."
Gible said nothing, but just stared straight ahead. At last, they had arrived. The Burned Tower towered above them. At once, it was massive, but it had burned down. Only about of fourth of it is still standing. Hence the name, Burned Tower.
As they neared, Thrain and Gible both saw two people conversing. A few steps closer, they recognized one to be Eusine. The other had pale-ish blonde hair, and blue eyes. He was wearing a purple scarf, tinged with red in places. Thrain jolted to a stop. "I know him; that's Morty."

Outside of Goldenrod, an Eevee was cuddled up under a tree, gently snoozing the time away. The life of freedom was one of the many luxuries of being a wild Pokemon, and she had no intentions of having an owner anytime soon. She yawned a bit, rolling onto her side. There was nothing better than to relax, sleep al that, watch the clouds go by...Sure, some would ask for adventure, but she wasn't the type to go looking for it.

Teddi burst out into more tears, when the man questioned her more. She was scared, confused and tired. The fact that her mother was thousands of miles away somewhere didn't help either. She just cried and cried, and cried. Her sobs made it difficult to answer but after trying several times she blurted out. "I fell off a ship! And mama was on the ship!"
The last she had seen of her mother was when she fell off. The large Ursaring crying for her baby. "Wh-Whats your name mister?" She asked when the tears subsided. She held onto the strong boy as they walked through Goldenrod City.
