You remind me a lot about myself how I used to feel throughout the years of early school. I too used to (and actually still) sometimes get easily distracted during classes. Something that worked for me to get more focused was to listen to some relaxing music that doesn't block what the teacher was saying but still made the environment feel less dull and boring as the class went on.

Do you have like a visual experience in your mind when you get distracted? (Like do you see what it is you think of at present that distracts you?)

Do you have a hobby outside from the school environment? Something that makes you feel like your at your best? Sometimes having an passion for anything that makes you feel better than usual is the key to find more confidence and handling the distractions going on in your mind. This can be easier said than done, trust me I know but sometimes it's better than letting yourself deal with boredom.
