be sure to have cure in your command slot, and have the ability cure boost, which you can get fairly early in the game with meow wow. Cure will, at least in early levels, heal about 80% of your and your DE HP. Also, fight every enemy u can to level up. Enemies hit WAY harder and more often in proud mode.

the enemy level in the last world is really high, compared to the others. so level up a lot.

If it hasn't been mentioned already, Get "Second Chance" and "Once More" as soon as possible. I couldn't beat the final boss without those abilities lol.

Which Dream Eater gives you Once More? I got Second Chance from R&R Seal but I couldn't find Once More so I had to beat the game without it.

Tyranto Rex gives you Once More, and some cool spells/commands. Mega-Flare, Firaga Burst, and Meteor something.

The Dream Eater that I found that had the "Once More" ability was Drak Quack found in The World that Never Was in Sora's Part near the Avenue of Dreams. It also gives a Megalixir if you're looking for that as well. It also has alot of item exchanges but nothing too pricy. Just give it some water barrels and you're good to go.

Same here, most of the bosses didn't really do devastating combos that are insta-death, not even Ansem's death ball thing which leaves you at 1 HP no matter what. So it shouldn't be too bad because Once More definitely takes a longer time to get than second chance, since it's a lot less available for some reason. I think I've seen Second Chance on maybe 5 different DEs but Once More on 2, the T-Rex and Drak Quack.

those death balls were something alright, they killed me twice and i had second chance on so idk what you mean.

Really? Never got killed by that attack; as Blobbit said, it leaves you at 1 HP. Maybe you thinking about the ones that Ansem sends at you when you're thrown way back?
