Its actually Sora in a nightmare Ventus armor.

I'm horrible with translations but Riku basically goes inside Sora's dreams I think to save him from falling into darkness. Someone can probably clear it up for the both of us.

When Sora's heart or whatever fell to darkness, it took the shape of nightmare armor Ventus. That's why when Riku went into Sora's heart to wake him up, that's who he encountered.
After the battle, the armor shatters and its revealed to be Sora inside.

Aren't those two the same person? TX is AX, otherwise who/how are they separate beings then

MX took Terra's body=TX>>>TX is amnesiac and tended for in RG by AtW and Braig. He then accrues the name "AX", because he becomes an apprentice, still the TX.
