it is an anime and it was on G4 for a while but it recently ended. i cried at the ending. *AYATO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!*

I watched the first 2 episodes but missed all of the rest. I wish they'd show it again. I have all the manga though. there are only 3 and they aren't as serious as the show, have character relations changed some and nudity. Good series.
