Japan have a smaller population of Gamer who buy videogames obsessively. Remember, Japan isn't as hardcore as western countries in which we buy and look forward to our release.

In Japan, you're lucky if you hit the 300,000 mark unless you're Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest or something Nintendo.

i think people are forgetting the exchange rates again haha

in australia here, if i buy something like bbs brand new from the store, it'll cost 70 bucks, 90 for special edition. but if i buy the US version on play asia WITH conversion rates, it translates to about 55 bucks.

rip off. buy online everyone. thats the moral of this story.

Birth by Sleep launched in Japan at 6090 yen, almost 70 dollars.

Different countries have different costs for video games. =)

I remember seeing Final Fantasy X at JUSCO costing 7,000 yen, which is about $70.
