The site doesnt say anything about playing japanese games on your ps2 it just says that it will play backups.....U need a mod chip not a cover.
So i dont think that will work.

There are different version of Swap Magic that do different things.

Just go to google and search for mod chips for ps2 and a site should come up with one. Just make sure that it says that it allows you to play japanese games on your american ps2.

Go buy an import ps2 that is what i did from my country china.It even came with a mod chip.

Get the Slide Card and Swap Magic, it says you can play import games and I saw i guy do it before and it worked. you can get it at www.modchipstore.com
