Shoot twice in the head first then throw the flash grenade.
Oh okay I will do that then and then try the process I posted. Thanks for the help I will try it tonight and see how it goes.

I'm getting seriously pissed off with Reapers. I know the drill, shoot the crap on their chest, then their back. Can't seem to stop them perforating me, though...

Anything I could greatly increase my chances with?

Honestly all you need to do is wait until it gets close and shoot it in the chest with your magnum.
One magnum shot to the center of it's chest is all it takes.
It also shows it's white part as soon as it tries to attack you so if you're quick enough all it'll take is one shot.

Granted PA guided me everywhere and killed every boss with the Rocket Launcher, I think I pulled my own weight.

I played split screen with my cousin. I got the best magnum with unlimited ammo and the long shot for Sheva.

Yeah I got those too.
The longbow's pretty useful it just takes some getting used to with the no laser pointer and all.
The Gatlin Gun is just a waste of time honestly considering it knocks your accuracy rate down to hell, but it's need for the StockPile & Take it to the Max trophies so I did what I had to.
I went back to beat it on Professional and since I'm one of the only one's here that's done it I've helped/ am helping others to achieve the same.
The Infinite Rocket Launchers pretty useful against bosses in terms of a speed run, but yeah the Magnum's good too.

I need to try and do a Speed Run & Limited Ammo Professional runs, but that'll be when I have more time.
I still need to get the rest of the Versus Trophies too, but other than that I've got everything 100% in the game.

Good times.
I figured it'd be easier for you to get the infinite Rocket Launcher that way. It beats the hell out of playing the game twice, but the next time we play I'll let you get all the kills so you can get your rank up.
I seriously have too much money. I'm literally right at 2 million currency right now.

I tore this game apart on Professional. Was not that hard really if you know what your doing.

I tore this game apart on Professional. Was not that hard really if you know what your doing.

Yeah it's hella easy.
What I really hate are the dogs.
God I fucking hates those things, even if you get them all from the front there will always be at least one that comes from behind you while you're dealing with the others; I've literally turned a corner just to have one already be in mid-air to jump on my face.

I just hate saving your partner because you barely have 2 seconds to heal them, because of it though I managed to figure out a couple of short cuts as to not have to deal with certain parts.
Here's a couple tips I'd like to hand out to people having trouble at several parts.

In case several have yet to figure it out, in 2-1 if you bounce a grenade off the balcony right where you pick up two grenades (the same place house you enter after those 2 flying P.O.W's attack your comrades on the radio) you can explode the lock on the door utterly rendering the separation section useless.
From what I understand you can also shoot that door with an explosive round from the Grenade Launcher.

I don't understand why people found 2-3 so hard, if you restart after every checkpoint during the bike sequence you gain health back and during the fight with Ndesu as long as you take out the Cocktail throwing guy the fight's cake, that is unless Ndesu uses that boulder attack twice.

During 4-1 in the giant puzzle temple area if you equipped around 10-15 mines and place them all around the starting area (up the stairs, and around the corners) you can kill almost all of the Tribal Majini that swarm you after pulling the 3rd statue I believe it is. Few the cutscene is hilarious when all of them start blowing up.

In 5-2, right after you kill all the Lickers down those two hallways in the room with the conveyor belts.
If you throw flash, flame or exploding grenades off the balconies about where the guys are you can keep them from alerting the rest of the gun wielding & grenade/flash throwing Majini; says an assload of time if you're going for a speedrun.

As far as Wesker & Jill go on 5-3 I love love love comboing him. The melee method with two magnum shots then run up for the combo is pure win.
Fighting Jill was a different story considering half the time I'd tell my partner to not stand directly next to me while I was strafing her location because it generally means when she misses the kick on me she'll hit them instead and one hit from her is instant "death phase"

In 6-1 at the very beginning if you snipe all the guys around the scaffold across the way and the tower to your right (this is where you find the 3rd to last Emblem) you can avoid being trapped in the little cage while your partner finds a way to free you.

I believe the level is 6-1, just after you find the JailBreaker; if you snipe all the guys just before you get to the Machine Gun wielding Majini you can avoid having to kill that swarm that rushes you from below.

In 6-2 you can rocket launcher Uroboro's arms that are tearing through the ship to make your run faster than finding a way around them. I'd also like to advise that you let your partner or yourself take out Uroboro's glowing weak spots while you/partner take out the little reproducing blobs that fly off it's body.
If those things cause more trouble than they're worth plus they count towards your kill count.

I didn't realize the Stun Rod was so useful on Professional considering it stops guys from sprouting parasites which are a pain in the ass, knifing also comes in handy.

Last couple tips

Acid Rounds severely weaken Lickers, from what I remember it only takes two shots.
Nitrogren Rounds are a blast to use especially in groups seeing as you can freeze essentially everyone in radius and melee them all just watching them break in the process.
If you can scout out an area before Majini or whatever enemy have you swarm; insure that you equipped mines where you know they'll be so it minimizes the amount of overall guys you'll have to battle.

Me and my cousin just winged it. We choose guns taht we like. One pistol, shotgun, magnum, and machine gun each. Upgraded our respective weapons and started kicking ass. We had some problems but we got past it. I beat Wesker easy. Jill was no problem. I just shot her necklace with my sniper rifle until it came off. Didn't even get hurt by her. I'm an excellent shot with the sniper rifle.

When I first played the game me and my friend just chose different guns entirely.
I believe I had the pistol, shotgun and magnum; he used the machine gun, sniper rifle and grenades.
We both ended up equipped the stun rod once we got far enough to buy them which saved a lot more ammo. You'd be surprised how many people online don't actually know how to conserve ammo, but yeah I was the same upgraded the weapon I used the most which came in real handy for the Pistol with it's 100 bullet capacity. What was funny was I'd always get ammo and they'd hardly give him any for his weapons that is until the near end of the game when they started giving him all the ammo which left me high and dry, but then again that's what melee, knife & stun rod kills are for.

Wesker's pretty easy, as long as Jill doesn't show up he isn't a problem.
There where times when I'd tell my partner (this isn't anyone here I'm talking about I don't think) to go after Jill so I could take care of Wesker and said person would end up getting killed by her. Eventually and since then all my partners have followed me around during that fight so that doesn't happen. Then it becomes a matter of taking Wesker out before Jill shows up which if you're doing the combo method takes slightly more time instead of the rocket launcher way.

Yeah but from my experience my partner more times than not shot her int he body rather than the little chest mindcontrol device. Since I'm generally the more experience when I play with someone I'm always the one that grabs her, thats why i can't be the one shooting. Generally when my partner knows what they're doing it doesn't take more than 4-5 minutes to take Jill out. It only takes up time waiting for her to get back up or waiting for her to jump back down after she's run to the second level.

We always had pistol ammo. Like too much pistol ammo. I have like 939 in my pile for my cousin since he doesn't have unlimited ammo. I got atleat ten to fifteen first aid sprays and two on Chris.

I need atleast some kind of opening to shot the necklace. I usually have anyone I play with distract Jill so I can get a shot in. She moves around alot when left alone. Whoever distracts her usually doesn't get hurt, because i'm able to shot her necklace before she hits them. Though there are times where i'm not quick enough, but that's not often. Since I have the Unlimited Handcannon, Wesker is no problem. A couple shots and it over.

Maybe it's because you aren't smart enough to know what you are doing, or you are really bad at games. It's quite easy to beat.

The first level is extremely easy to beat so I don't really know what you're talking about it being impossible and all that.

I won't lie the first boss fight with Wesker we died a lot because my teammate barely had any sniper rifle ammo by the time the fight started so when I was left dangling by the cliff he'd either take too long and I'd die or Wesker would eventually make it to me and kill me ( I prefer playing with Sheva because her melee attacks are a lot better, plus her "Impale" finish is pretty vicious and a guaranteed kill 95% of the time).
However, after that first time he's pretty much cake.

I never knew you could shoot Jill's device without having someone hold her, I did you know can equipped your grenade launcher with flash rounds which make grabbing her much easier seeing as she'll stay still for a couple moments. Sounds like a cool method, but rather risky at times, nevertheless it's always good to try out new strategies.

That battle was the hardest for me and my cousin. We had to work out a strategy. He would push the rock after the small cutscene where Wesker's comes after Sheva (Me). I would try to go slowly so he can get the boulder out the way first. Then I would hold on for dear life as he shoots Wesker. No matter who I played with. The shooting Wesker part was easy. Never got to me or anyone if I was Chris. I didn't know at first that you could grab Wesker and start a button pressing cutscene in the last fight.

Yeah. It's quite easy if you follow her around with the sniper rifle crosshair. Just try to stay on her upper body. One she stops, take craeful aim and hit her necklace. One missed shot and Jill is dead. It was the first tactic I tried. Actually you don't even have to grab her. Shoot the necklace enough and it breaks on it's own. No grabbing invovled, but that strategy takes a long time.

That sounds like a problem. For me she always went after my partner since my partner was closer. I would advise shooting it while she's shooting off his machine guns. It's a small window of time, but you know she won't move then. One time she got me and my cousin together and started beat us down with melee attacks. Somehow we still won.
