Samurai Warriors:The Unification of Japan

Time Period: 1500 A.D
Location: Okehazama

Plot:

The year 1500 has finally come.All of Japan is scattered about.There are different clans and ruling families,there are many cities under control by one clan.The Oda Clan.Led by none ofther than the "Demon King" Nobunaga Oda himself.His trusted retainers,Ieyasu Tokugawa,Hideyoshi Hashiba,Mitsuhide Akechi,and Ranmaru Mori are all great aspects to the Oda Army.Nobunaga Oda has decided to take on the task of unifying Japan.The only forces who can take down the Oda are currently uninformed about this.The forces are the Takeda,led by Shingen Takeda and his nemesis and rival,Kenshin Uesugi of the Uesugi clan.These two must join forces to save Japan from the wrath of Nobunaga and the Oda Army.As Nobunaga made his first move toward Kawanakajima,A messenger who had barely escaped the town,left to look for aid.Luckily the messenger found Kanetsugu Naoe and Yukimura Sanada,both of the Uesugi and Takeda clans.The two return to their masters and inform them of Nobunaga's plans.They note that they must take action quickly or Nobunaga's plan to unify Japan under his rule will be completed.Kenshin Uesugi and Shingen Takeda both decide to make a temporary peace treaty to take care of the Oda Army and then go back to being enemies later.They form an army to be reckoned with.They are called The Coalition Army.This army is the only army strong enough to take down Nobunaga and the rest of the Oda Army.Are they enough to take the Oda Army down?Will Japan be unified under the Oda name?Only time and war will tell.


Objective:
There are two forces in this RP.They are the Coalition Army and the Oda Army.These armies are the main two armies of the RP.
The Coalition Army is led in a joint effort by Kenshin Uesugi and Nobunaga Oda.
You must choose which side to be apart of and either help the unification of Japan by being apart of the Oda Army or the foiling of the unification of Japan by being apart of the Coalition Army.

Bio: Hiro's first sightings as a samurai were serving a Lord in the Aichi Prefecture at 16. He worked as a guard/watchman for a number of years, showing above average swordsmanship against various gangs of bandits. Hiro was promoted after 6 years to a personal Yojimbo to the Lord he served. Later that year, the manor fell, Hiro's Lord being killed in the process.

After this service, Hiro abandoned the manor and spent the next 5 years until present day as a traveling Ronin. Though he would occasionaly work as a mercanary, which would include escorting farmers and doing menial tasks in exchange for shelter and food, Hiro never seemed to show intrest in serving under another Lord. His sudden joining of the Coalition Army appears to have no trigger, and some question his intent due to his carefree nature.

Name: Daaku Raito

Age: 29

Appearance: Over the years Daaku's appearance has varied greatly. He is a person who likes to be very spontaneous in the way he looks, but there are some things that never change, as they are merely a part of who he is. His skin color is fairly dark, but not too dark, almost like a light milk chocolate color, or deep caramel.

Daaku's face is very cut and defined, and is more than enough to cause other humans to look twice.....maybe even three times, and this does not, and is not only angled at females in the world, nor ONLY humans for that matter. He used to have a goatee, but Daaku changed his style, and shaved all of his facial hair off, other than his eyebrows, and eye lashes. His nose is not overly large, and the point it has gives the rest of his face an interesting shadowed look.

His eye color is not something that is seen very often, due to his supposed other worldly powers , so his eyes are both pitch black in color, with no pupil that is visible to the naked eye. Not only that, but his eyes have a dark ring around them, that some would try to combine with a sickness such as insomnia, but in fact, this is fibers of hair caused by the power he wields, but have clustered and give this look. As for hair, Daaku used to dye it a lot, but for the past few years it has been it's natural blackish purple hue, with a tiny streak of grey in the back that nobody can see because it is under his hair.

The body that Daaku has is chiseled to what some would call perfection, because Daaku wants it like that. His defined muscles show when he wants them to, but he does not have a body that is toned for show. It allows him to be agile in battle and accomplish the things that a warrior needs to do at times. Every curve, line, and cut of muscle is from years of training.......and possibly other factors. For what it's worth however, Daaku rarely wears clothing that shows off his body.....

As for other bodily markings, considering his very high levels of power to be a potential danger, even by an accident, there is a tattooed sealing art that spans across most of Daaku's back in the shape of a galactic nebula that restrains a terrible secret. This might have something to do with the twisted looking armor that Daaku wears.

Bio: Daaku doesn't have a largely distinguishable past, mostly because of the idea and rumors that he isn't really who he says he is. His entire past is pretty much clouded in as much mystery as he is most of the time, though of course he is seen out of armor before battle. it is known however that he is part of the coalition which makes his actions even more questionable because due to his appearance everybody just assumes that he is either part demon, or simply evil to the core. It goes to show that people seriously shouldn't judge people by their appearances.

Further information isn't known on Daaku Raito, but some have heard that originally he was somebody else and actually was part of the Oda Army.......

Name: Mune Purotekuto

Weapon: Kyojin {In picture}- Mune carries a massive sword on his back and carries it into battle with him, even though it is a large sword he carries it with ease and can swing it quickly in battle. He has small fireworks in his pockets that he uses to blast enemies, giving him the title of the "Giant-Wielding Wizard"

Appearance: Mune wears a large pale-yellow half coat with gold trimmings. He wears a black arm cloth on one arm and a protective arm cover on the other, he wears large brown baggy pants and black boots. On his back is a black mantle that he latches his sword on to carry it. His hair silver, his skin is lightly tanned and his eyes are grey.

Bio: As a boy growing up in Japan Mune was a orphan with no family of his own. One day he was greeted by a wizard from China showing his magic to the world, he took Mune as his appentince after seeing his talent for fireworks. At the age of ten Mune was performing with his master when a rival wizard murdered his master before turning on the boy, luckily for Mune a samurai weilding a massive sword protected him and took Mune as his new student.

Mune became very strong and was able to lift objects 2x his weight after his intense training, that was when the wars started ten years later. Mune's master now very old gave Mune his sword as a gift for the war and Mune left shortly after vowing to make his master proud. He eventually impressed the Demon King and become one of his generals earning the title "Giant-Weilding Wizard".

Name: Shina Konoe

Age: 21

Alliance: Coalition???

Ranking: Officer-Assassin/General

Weapon:
Hidden Blade - A concealed, mechanical dagger that is mounted on the inside of her left hand gauntlet that springs into position from under her wrist with a fair amount of force. This weapon is released by tilting the hand. After the blade is open, by furthering the tilting of the hand, the blade will come to a rest in the space formerly occupied by the ring finger. To conceal the weapon once more, the user will simply tilt the hand in the reversed fashion. This blade is about 7 inches long.

Wakizashi - A twenty inch sword that is mainly used as a "speed" weapon. The short length and medium-light weight gives the user an amazing speed and precise maneuver. Because of Shina's excellent skills, the cuts made from this blade cannot be heard by any normal means. This weapon is sheathed right under the katana.

Dagger – This dagger is kept wrapped around Shina’s thigh, hidden beneath her garments and clothes. The blade of this weapon is only seven inches long. This is probably the weapon used as a last resort when other weapons are taken from her or unusable.

Katana – This specially made katana can only be wielded to its full potential by Shina herself. The hilt was constructed to fit the grip perfectly. Others wielding this blade will find themselves in great discomfort and difficulty swinging the sword. This of course, is Shina’s main weapon being the greatest she possesses.

Needle Shooter – Another mechanical gauntlet on her right forearm that is used to shoot small poison dipped needles. By pulling a small string with her left hand, the right arm is aimed at the target and a single small needle will be shot, trigging a small but powerful force making the needle near invisible to the human eye. Reloading another needle takes several minutes, sort of a major setback but for a precise, silent, and deathly blow it may be considered nothing.

Throwing Daggers – Shina also keeps light weight daggers about three inches long that is obviously used for throwing. The impact of these daggers is not considered powerful, but only used to quickly take down enemies at a certain range.

Of course… having all these weapons equipped will just slow her down…

Appearance: During the day, Shina’s appearance will leave almost any man in sheer admiration. Heads will turn wherever she walks, eyes just staring at her amazing beauty. Her black hair, about 1/3 way down her back flows gracefully in the blowing wind. Her face is greatly cut and defined, the eyes, mouth, nose, all perfectly lined up and constructed. She wears her Kimono under a parasol when strolling through the towns.

During the night, Shina transforms into a deadly assassin. Her name has been known all over Japan, taking several names. She wears all tight black ninja clothes, under a mask that conceals her identity.

Bio: Shina grew up in a hidden village far beyond the hidden mountain in the middle of nowhere. From a very young age, being the only child in her family clan, she was chosen to become a living killing weapon. She developed a horrifying personality while being trained under her own father, who was an assassin during his young age. However, she didn't grow up to become a monster, but silent demon who only appears to be serene. Even her presence seems to bring about a gloom in the atmosphere.

Nothing other than that is known much about Shina's past. She left her family clan to fulfill the great honor and "destiny" she was given, foil the Oda's goals. She joined the Coalition Army, of course for a great sum of money. There's a small rumor going around she may actually be working for both the Coalition and Oda, of course for money, riches, and treasures. She doesn't come out much during the day and keeps to herself...

Name: Hashiba Hideyoshi

Age: 33

Alliance: Oda

Ranking: General

Weapon: Hashiba wields two perfectly identical Samurai katana, which are worn crisscrossed over his lower back while at rest. He also carries a set of tekagi with short, curved blades for hand-to-hand combat, and a small pouch containing an assortment of throwing knives of different sizes and styles hangs from his belt.

Appearance: Hashiba Hideyoshi considers both personal appearance and general usefulness when choosing his outfits; therefore, his simple yet fashionable apparel serves its purpose both in presentation and on the battlefield. His dark red tunic, black trousers and medium-length ebony cloak allow for an excellent range of movement, but also echo the cool confidence and unmatched wisdom that the general is known for. Other than that, Hashiba goes nowhere without his trademark coolie hat, which is either perched on his head or allowed to hang loosely from his neck. Hashiba's facial features are usually calm and composed, though he also has the potential to be unpredictable and allows his temper to flair on multiple occasions. His black, moderately long hair is left tied in a low ponytail, though one lock of it hangs slightly over his face, giving Hashiba a formidable appearance. In fact, a piercing glare from his stunning dark eyes is his most powerful tool to get new recruits in line.

Bio: Hashiba Hideyoshi was born the son of a peasant-warrior named Yaemon. His childhood given name was Hiyoshi-maru, or “bounty of the sun”. As a young man, he was sent to study at a temple, but he disliked temple life and ran off to search for adventure. He traveled the countryside of Japan for several years until he decided to return to his home province and become a member of the Oda clan. Though only a lowly servant, Hashiba soon rose in status and favor due to his successful efforts to further the cause of the Oda clan.

After aiding Nobunaga Oda in conquering an enemy-controlled stronghold, Hashiba was promoted to general within the Oda army. His skills as a strategist and negotiator earned him great respect from both his subordinates and his superiors. Hashiba understands the extreme undertaking that Nobunaga Oda is attempting, and there is no question that he may have his own eyes set on taking the rule from Nobunaga once the unification of Japan is complete.
