Well, I'm really into backmasking. If you don't know what backmasking is....
Backmasking is when you reverse a song, and you find a subliminal or secret message in the song.

I have done a thread on Simple and Clean backmasking... (http://forums.khinsider.com/showthread.php?t=49754) and it seems Utada has a knack for backmasking... she has included one for us in Sanctuary.

'I need more affection then you know.' and 'I need true emotion' seem to appear a lot. There could be other phrases though... I just found this.

But I love it because its a backmask that is actually clear. Not like all cut up. Utada is a goddess at backmasking.

Several times in it you will hear 'I need more affection' and something like 'I need 2 emotions.'

we've known this longer than most of the stuff that exists on these forums

she says "I need more affection than you know"
and during the my heart's a battleground it says "i need true emotion"
and there's a new part that says "so many ups and downs" xD

i have the reversed song, it says "true emotions" besides it makes more sense

"true emotion" makes more sense than "i need two emotions" LOL

Lol, yeah... I'm not that great at listening to lyrics and figuring them out that way. Thank you.

^ um no, she already confirmed it as having secret messages. people asked her what those lines were and she told us what they said, and that she reversed them and put them in the song ^_^
