has anyone trained in Kendo or self traded in the art of blade weilding? I have and it's been many years since I started. spar anyone? -smirks-

I practice Tae Kwon Do but there is an aside class where we learn weapons. I can use a shinai and I think I may be also able to use a tai chi sword. I kind of taught myself on that last one.

ANyway, list of weapons I can use:
Whip
Shinai
Bo
Nunchaku(s)
Kama(s)
Escrima stick(s)
Tai Chi sword
Kwan Dao

Anything with (s) means I can use two at the same time as well as one.

Hmm...well I don't practice any particular style of fighting, but I've trained with my friend's across the street neighbor for about 4 years. He's a self defense instructor.

Weapons I'm pretty good with:

Swords (Japanese Style or European)
Sticks (Japanese Style) *on side note: can also use spear if I had one*
Boomerang (although I accidentally hurt myself every now and again)
Bows And Arrows

Zeke, a fellow kendoka!

I have trained in both kendo and a gendai kenjutsu style (Mushinto-Ryu) for a year now, and I love it. What rank are you Zeke? I'd happily have a ji-geiko with you if I did meet you in real life. Though I still use one shinai in chudan-no-kamae, I am considering switching to jodan-no-kamae because I am left handed, and I eventually want to practice nito when I am good enough.
