Has anyone played Silent Hill 2 for the PS2?

I found out about through a girl working in Asda (UK'S WalMart), she said she got her kids the game and they loved it.

So, I bought the game, and at first I was a little bit freaked out, with the Male toilet scee.

But, once I got into the game, I really enjoyed it.

The zombie/corpses were very well detailed and I just loved how, they just came out of anywhere and at the most awkward of moments The pyramid head was the scariest for me.

It was a very psychological game, with James, wife dead sending him a letterm and then he meets Maria, who look identical to Mary but isn't.

The Hopsital and Prison scene confused me alot?

I was thinking, is Maria real?

The entire experience was literally, Messed Up (in a good way).

The game has about 5-6 different endings which I like, but in order to achieve them you'd have to play the ENTIRE game again and change a few little things, I hate backtracking so I didn't complete the endings 9but I watched them on Youtube, so I know all the outcomes.)

It's a great game that contains some amazing riddles, and I recommend it, but it's hard to find now!

Thank You for Reading and tell me what you think and feel about "Silent Hill 2".

(Also, I've search the threads for other Silent Hill l2 threads, there wasn't any)

-revive, lol-

I am still currently playing it, but as far as I can say, it is a pretty good game. I love the details of the town, the storyline is pretty awesome (but confusing as well), the puzzles are challenging, and I just adore the monsters (Pyramid Head! -woot!-). There are some questions, though, that are still in my head, like how Maria looked alot like Mary (heck, even their names are related to each other!), how the characters ended up there in the first place, and how the monsters appeared there. Ah well.

But all in all, I simply love this game. I first found out about it when my cousin played, but I wasn't interested. A few years later, I started becoming intrigued by horror games (like RE, L4D, stuff like that), but Silent Hill caught my attention the most. The experience is just thriling. It was worth my while. :D
