Just a thought, I suppose. But one thing I found very interesting about the way KHUx's original story is set up is that the final note before the "Prologue Logo" is Stret's murder and her body fading away while holding her chirithy as her heart flies up, and then the final note before the "Finale Logo" is Player's body fading away while holding their chirithy as their heart flies up, except now we have the context that "it's not over" and that people's hearts can melt into another. I wonder in some ways if the intentional paralleling of these things was in a way done to foreshadow that Strel also melted her heart into another when she died. Just as Player had.

This is connected, largely musing, but, when the Union Leaders are trying to decide what to set as their waypoint when using the lifeboat, they are told to keep Strelitzia in their hearts, that she would serve as their waypoint where they ended up. Curiously, the few that used the lifeboat while using Stret as their waypoint all ended up in the BBS era. Of course, Strelitzia as far as we know is not in this era at all. The only era we know her (or a version of her) to exist is post-KH3. So, what led the gang to end up in BBS time?

Well, I think their arrival largely coincides with the birth of a certain character. And that perhaps, this is who Strelitzia's heart melted into.

It makes a sort of sense. Strelitzia's heart melts into another as well, and that new heart is born in the BBS era. The Union Leaders, keeping Strel in their hearts as their waypoint, arrive at the closest thing to exist to her. Similarly how Player melts their heart (and eventually melts into Sora), Strelitzia melted into Kairi.

Idk, just a thing I've been thinking for a while. I imagine in a similar vein to alleged leaked Versus story details, KHIV!Strelitzia is going to be revealed to have been "dead along"/"not really existing" or made of Data as hinted to in the KHUx finale and Sora will be bummed about this, but there will be some "comfort" in the knowledge that they (Player and Strelitzia) both live on in other people, who do actually get to know each other in another life.

Anyway, so I figured out what the deal with Quadratum!Strelitzia is and it's so simple. She's Ava in disguise, much like Ava disguised herself as different Union Leaders in KHx. We've been wondering what they've been cooking with Ava's disappearance, what the mysterious Stret hanging with allegedly Luxu in KHUx was about and Luxu's comment about her 'not making it back after all' to me actually suggest they were in cahoots on something. Ava would also be one of the very very few people who even knew Strelitzia existed and would notice that she died. Perfect for taking her identity.

We'll grow attached to this version of Strelitzia then a dramatic reveal (likely near the climax when the Foretellers rear their heads) she will reveal the truth and drop the facade, and then likely explain to the non-khx playing audience what really happened with Strelitzia and that's how we'll find out the real Strelitzia died and melted into Kairi.

it all fits nice and snug in a way dont it.

I don’t think Strelitzia in Quadratum will be a bait and switch. I think both Strelitzia and the Player reformed in Quadratum after their deaths. But due to experiments in Scala during the Missing Link era, the Player crosses back over through a rift in the Astral Plane. So truly, our Player is the same one from UX and they did not actually reincarnate in the traditional sense.

In the Player’s death scene in UX, Chirithy tells them they can either go to sleep or fade. But after the flash forward to them taking care of Xehanort, the Player says, “It’s not over yet.” and Chirithy responds, “Huh?”

This reads to me as if the Player is rejecting both previously stated options. I think we’ll discover that those who end up in Quadratum unintentionally are ones who reject both sleep and melting into a new heart. This will mostly be for those like Sora, Player, and Strelitzia who died prematurely.

I do hope Ava is in Quadratum though. We need more active female characters for Sora to interact with. So I’d like to see both her and Strelitzia as separate individuals. I think her as a primary antagonist of the game under MoM could have a lot of potential.
