So I did a Kingdom Hearts III mockup...

Not sure if this is the right place, but wanted to share this with my fellow KH fans:

As you can see, I put in the Command Deck from Birth by Sleep / Dream Drop Distance, plus I nerfed the Flowmotion by giving it a gauge along with bringing back Focus and MP, the later of which I'm not sure how it would work with the Command Deck.

Also, the Donald quote part was inspired by the Warriors series from Techmo Koei/Omega Force. The idea is that your teammates will give off random quotes during gameplay. For instance, if you beat a record for how many hits you get with your Shotlock or with Flowmotion, Donald and Goofy will congratulate Sora. Also, enemies will taunt you in this way as well.

Just something that I did to waste away my insomnia. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Don't worry your thread is in the right place!

I think this is a really good mockup! I love the idea of your comrades talking to you during battle, I don't know why but every time a game has a feature like that I just fall in love. I guess it's because it gets a little lonely when all you can hear is your party members attacking.

From a design perspective though, there are a few things you need to work on. Right now, the whole screen looks a little too crowded though I imagine that's only because of the size you used for the whole thing. I don't really like Sora's hair being in the way of his HP bar, I think you need to decrease the size of the character portrait so it doesn't overlap as much. The same thing is happening with Goofy. I understand why you did it though, since they do it in the games as well but in your case it overlaps too much.

The gauge/hp colours look kinda basic, you should think about putting a gradient in there to make it more interesting.
