The only way I would want them coming back is if it was just their spirits thanking Sora and the gang for all of two seconds and then rejoining with Sora/whoever they're joined with and not overkill with "Oh hey look we can live again without our Somebodies/people we belong with guys!"

It's bad enough AtW isn't dead, and if that happens, well, I'll start believing the series is honestly turning to crap.

It's obvious that, in order to save EVERYONE, Sora needs to die.

But what precisely are the chances of that happening? I mean, this is Disney working with Square Eenix. Are they really going to like the idea of the beloved star of the games getting killed off (even if no one dies in Kingdom Hearts?) I think not.

And by logic, the only nobody that has the ability to come back as their somebody is Axel. I will not be surprised if an older Lea is in our future. In fact, given to his popularity - I kind of expect it. (Now do I personally want to see him back? Not really. But I'm not on the script team and I don't have Nomura's ear. XDD).

Ven- Help heal his heart- He's inside of Sora, so... Check.

Aqua- Help her out of the RoD- completely clueless as to who she is.

Roxas- ???- He's inside Sora, so... Check.

Xion- ???- Failed?

Ansem The Wise- Help him out of RoD- Failed, once, yet to recover from said failure.

I think Terra will be the hardest to save. After Sora and co. free him from Xehanort in the final battle, they will all go to Chamber of Waking and reach out to Ventus' heart. Then Ventus wakes up and boom and of KH3.

I think the better question for this thread is who Sora is NOT going to save, hurr.
And technically, they never said anything about saving them. They need to ease their torment. Which for example, for Xion can be to have people remember her. For Namine it's to have her closure with Sora. Roxas I imagine will be tied to saving Ven, but it's basically coming to terms, once and for all, with him being gone (but didn't they do that in KHII? Gods I hate that would-be RokuNami scene, it's so OOC for the both of them... orz).
TAV are the ones Sora'll actually have to save, I reckon, since they're Somebodies.

Riku and Kairi Sora doesn't have to save. In Re:Coded D-Riku brought up his and Kairi's past torments to help D-Sora understand what a "torment" even is. Kairi was without her Heart and Riku lost his mind to Darkness - two things that were solved already.
