OK, now that you've watched both of them, its time for my theory.
What if Aquas armor in the room that Xemnas was in was actually Xion. It is possible because she has changed her apperance for other people before like how she changed from her regular apperance to Ventus and how she also changed her apperance to Sora. So maybe at that time she looked like Aqua for Xemnas.

Well if I remember correctly the scene where Xemnas goes down there happens during KH2. When Sora and Co. are busy dealing with the heartless. Xion no longer existed at that point so that would make it kinda impossible for her to be there.

It is possible because she has changed her apperance for other people before like how she changed from her regular apperance to Ventus and how she also changed her apperance to Sora.

She only changed her appearance once and that was to her Sora form. Other than that Xion never changed, the people saw her differently.

Sorry, but your timeline's off. That scene took place when they were still looking for members to join the organization. To be more exact, it was just after they found Marly, and they were trying to figure out what to do about the new castle they had found, Oblivion.

Interesting thought though.

Okay, but still Xion wasn't around at that point. She had already been defeated by Roxas and Sora had awaken.

The scene where Xemnas goes and talks to the armor is before they've even found Roxas, it's during KH1 I think, So Xion wasn't around and sora was hanging out in Neverland or something.
